09/04/2026: I rarely order carbonnade in restaurants because I love my own recipe and am sometimes disappointed when I try it elsewhere. Given Monsieur Leplat's reputation, I decided to give it a go. And I think it's safe to say it's truly the best carbonnade in the world 😊 The balance of all the ingredients gives this carefully crafted recipe an exceptional character with a subtle interplay of flavors. I can't wait to go back!

11/02/2026: A warm welcome. The wait was very short. The service was very courteous. The dishes were refined and generous. Traditional cuisine. Not greasy.
The presentation was worthy of a fine restaurant. Excellent value for money!
The restrooms were particularly clean, and the dining room was well-heated in winter. I highly recommend this restaurant! I will gladly return.
25/01/2026: A fantastic family moment! The staff were attentive, kind, and helpful. The meal was a real delight from start to finish, and especially varied, considering there were young people at our table.

22/03/2026: We looked for the cameras because it was such a joke. No choice, no wines, and especially no beer. The much-touted cocktails are a joke, no alcohol, no meat... Congratulations to the four young people who have to fight against all odds to keep a restaurant afloat with absolutely no management.

17/12/2024: We visited Bethune and on a rainy evening in 2022 with our 2 dogs. We were greeted with great kindness.
I have never forgotten that moment!
The whole team was great! We ate very well!
My doggies and I wanted to say hello.
10/12/2024: I love coming here to relax in summer and winter. I recommend the hazelnut cappuccino - a delight, friendly, polite and welcoming staff.

Beautiful view of the square and its belfry 🤩
We will definitely return and highly recommend it.
13/04/2026: Some of the food is good, but the owner's inappropriate, intrusive, and insensitive remarks (especially if she's drunk) can turn your relaxing moment into a real nightmare.
The food is inconsistent, with a nice selection of meats, but hygiene problems have been well-known for about twenty years and persist to this day.
The rooms are quite nice, but again, there are significant hygiene issues. And they have a lot of trouble paying the contractors or workers who come to work there…

15/03/2026: Very disappointing service.
We wanted to sit down and have a drink. Once seated, I simply asked the woman at the bar if it would be possible to heat my baby's bottle. Her response was very curt: "No, I don't have time, it's not the right time to heat a bottle."
Seeing the situation, a colleague came over to ask us what we needed. We asked him the same question, and he replied that they only had ovens and no microwaves here!
The refusal itself is understandable, but the way they spoke to customers is truly regrettable. A little courtesy wouldn't hurt.
14/03/2026: Hello, first of all, the welcome was excellent. I was very well received. The food is very good, the desserts are seasonal, and when raspberries are in season, there's a very good raspberry charlotte. The after-dinner drinks are very good. Highly recommended.

20/06/2024: En entrant, surpris d’être les seuls .La carte ne regorge pas de plats, ce qui est de bonnes augures. Et cela s’est avéré, les plats sont frais, jolis et goûteux. Les prix sont raisonnables, les vins diversifiés.
Une jolie découverte, que je recommande.

La carte change toutes les semaines
les plats sont simples mais très bons et généreux .
Le service est très pro rien à dire au top .
Excellent rapport qualité prix.
