20/03/2024: Very friendly little restaurant, just as much as their manager. The cuisine is very good with local products (bread from the bakery, meat from the butcher shop next door, etc.)
The portions are generous and the sauces are homemade.
I highly recommend.

10/03/2024: An 80th birthday meal and experience to remember. What a treat. Brilliant proposition for lunch by a knowledgable, very patient and understanding owner, which really made our day. The food, wine and service were impeccable. We were so pleased with our visit to the Restaurant de la Plage and would have no hesitation in recommending this fine establishment to anyone visiting Boulogne who wishes to experience French cuisine at its finest.

11/02/2024: While passing through Boulogne sur mer we went there yesterday evening. Really welcoming and kind staff. Well presented dish and good cooking of my steak. Not stingy with the glass of Martini unlike many restaurants. A little thought of my little son giving him a lollipop and a bottle of bubbles.

03/04/2024: What is original is eating there under the vault. But it is reserved for the group, so we ate upstairs. Reception quite cold, dirt on the floor next to our table, kitchen that doesn't break anything, we can do the same thing at home, not much taste. Not bad, but not exceptional.

Restaurant renowned for a very long time,
And I confirm, a treat!
Everyone has their own opinion, but we can't say anything about this good veal blanquette, or the other dishes! It makes me want to go back there very quickly!

27/02/2024: Could be a decent place, but my god are the servers all over the place. My mate left because he was feeling ill, I went to the toilet, came back to see EVERYTHING cleared and to be told "we thought you had left".
When is said "why would I leave without paying?" they didn't really have an answer. I assume that's normal for them.
I asked for the bill, they brought some cheap fire water shot, without the bill. When I refused and just said I want the bill, they all had a good point and laugh at me.
When challenged, said it was a "mistake".
Don't be fooled. Cheap food, cheap service, trading on "tourists". This used to be a decent takeaway back in the day. Go to anywhere else in Morzine for similar food, it isn't hard - burgers pizza etc, but you may be treated a bit better.

22/03/2024: An authentic bakery that cares about its sourcing like you rarely find. A little gem in Boulogne where we were able to have a warm meal for lunch. The sandwiches are very decent for the price, and the pastries were so good that we regretted not having brought more.
