Very welcoming staff!
01/04/2024: Small restaurant typical of old estaminets. Warm atmosphere of candles in table lighting. Friendly staff and above all a huge variety of extra dishes from North Flemish. Recommended but above all you need to book. Parking lots nearby and close to the train station.

27/03/2024: More than 40 minutes of waiting, no one at the cash desk so I advance to the upper window where I am literally attacked by the woman in a white shirt, I suppose a manager with a pink bow tie in her hair, ultra unpleasant, haughty who says without letting us say a word it's amazing to see the way in which managers address customers it's really aberrant this woman is odious I don't even understand how this is possible.

28/03/2024: The menu is varied, the dishes are very good and plentiful.
The only regret when going to checkout was when I saw that we were charged €3.50 per portion of vegetables: we had asked for fries and vegetables thinking that the portion of fries was thus reduced. But no, it’s an extra charge that the waitress could have informed us when taking the order.
And €3.50 for a tomato cut in half, roasted with garlic, that’s expensive…

08/03/2024: We booked last minute and they were happy to give us a table. The place is a busy little bar with a dining room behind. They serve a good selection of interesting beers and they have an excellent short menu with good local charcuterie and cheeses being featured. The carbonade was as good as any French grandmother would make and they produced a scallop and linguine dish that proved they are more than a simple bistro. The menu is short and supplemented by interesting specials.
They do really good chips in here. Delicious hand cut chips.
It was busy with locals of all ages and they were all having a good time.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful with the menu. They treated us like locals and we loved it.

23/03/2024: First for us in this restaurant, well honestly go there with your eyes closed, friendly welcome, warm, really attentive to customers, I had a chicken ballotine ho laLa 😃😃 a delight, my husband had a steak he can't stop saying puree that it's good 😅😅 I tried the pistachio ice cream it seems simple but it's so rare to find this taste this real taste of pistachio ☺️ in short it will now be known to us in one of our restaurants favorites ☺️

04/04/2024: After making a call to this day this famous cocktail pub is still open at least has reopened its doors I can't wait to go back there to taste new cocktails and of course my little banana chocolate fondue and I highly recommend this place because it's really a really quiet place with two very pleasant staff, I'll tell you very quickly I recommend this place 100%
31/03/2024: The cocktails are always excellent! However relatively long wait on arrival, to order and finally to have the cocktail! Too bad, without that it would be perfect because the setting is great! However, congratulations to the staff who do their best and run everywhere, they deserve reinforcement on busy evenings!
