We look at the menu with the owner and realize the work that goes into the magnificent dishes that are served to us. And when the tasting arrives, it's an explosion of flavors, colors, and textures—everything is there, and we love it!!! Thank you so much for this wonderful time, and we can't wait to come back!

23/01/2026: We had an absolutely perfect time at this establishment. Culinary-wise: It's flawless. The dishes are as beautiful as they are delicious, with impeccably fresh ingredients and perfectly balanced flavors. You can feel a real passion behind the stoves, from the appetizer to the dessert (special mention for the presentation, worthy of a top restaurant). Service-wise: This is where the experience becomes truly memorable. The welcome is warm and genuine. The staff is attentive, smiling, and offers excellent advice without ever being intrusive. You truly feel like a guest rather than just a customer. The setting is pleasant and the atmosphere convivial. I highly recommend it and I can't wait to return to try the rest of the menu! A big thank you to the entire team for this special moment.

23/01/2026: Fantastic experience! The waffle was delicious. I absolutely loved the Hot Chocolate, which is real melted chocolate served with a pitcher of hot milk! A rare find these days... A tea room I highly recommend and a must-visit! The service was just as pleasant, with a genuinely friendly and humorous waiter.

10/11/2024: We had a delicious meal; the dishes were of excellent quality. The service was very friendly and fast, which made the whole experience really enjoyable. The acoustics in the restaurant create a pleasant atmosphere, and the delicious smell of the food fills the room. Reservations also went very smoothly. What is striking is the incredible price-quality ratio: the quality of the food is really top, while the price is surprisingly low. Highly recommended for those who want tasty and affordable food!

01/02/2026: For a first visit, we weren't disappointed. The food was excellent; the scallops on smoked cauliflower cream were superb! The service was a little slow, but it was very busy. We recommend it.

08/12/2025: Calf's head, undercooked tongue, unskinned brains, cooked blood on the head (turning it black). Absolutely avoid!

12/11/2024: The kebab is very good and the portion is rather large, the same for the fries, the only small problem is that there is no sauce to eat with the fries.

18/08/2025: We ordered a cake for our daughters' birthday and we were delighted. The manager took the time to let us taste the ice cream so we could choose the flavors. He was very attentive during the ordering process. Upon tasting, all our guests were won over, and the slices were generous. Not to mention, the cake was truly magnificent! We 100% recommend it and will definitely order again.

16/08/2025: Unique flavours, and the ice cream is delicious. A bit pricey for my liking but it's worth it because the portions are huge! The service is nice too.

06/12/2024: Accueil très sympathique de l'équipe aux petits soins pour les clients. Les plats sont excellents, produits frais et de qualité. Les desserts sont faits maison ! les profiteroles et crème brulée : un délice ! Prix "normal" pour la qualité demandée : Poulet au maroilles 16.80 €..... crème brulée 5.50. Frites maison également ! Nous y retournerons : il vaut mieux réserver !

14/11/2024: We had a lovely lunch at La Taverne De Duchenot today for my partners birthday. When we arrived it was just after midday and it was nice to see lots of locals enjoying lunch. Both of the waiters that served us were extremely polite and their English was very good. We both chose the lunchtime offer of 3 courses from a set menu for €21.90. The charcuterie board starter was very nice and the steak with shallot sauce was also excellent. The dessert choices were chocolate mousse or cafe gourmand. We both chose the cafe gourmand and it was delicious. Overall we had a very pleasant lunch and would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Saint-Omer.

16/12/2025: The platters were well-served, good, and tasty. We ordered takeout, and the chef was friendly. I recommend it and we'll be back. Note that they're moving at the beginning of the year. Enjoy your meal!
