30/03/2026: A wonderful time shared as a couple at the mountain hut, by the fireside (we hadn't booked, but they accepted us anyway); a very warm welcome with delicious food, sheltered from the dreadful weather, but we were so cozy inside; THANK YOU, don't change a thing; we really hope to come back and see you on M6??? Wishing you and your team a wonderful season.

30/03/2026: What can I say except that it was an incredible culinary experience! A true breath of fresh air in the middle of nowhere! An exceptional and thoroughly enjoyable gastronomic moment! Top-notch service! Fantastic atmosphere! The aperitifs were beyond fantastic! Thank you for this special moment!

15/02/2026: While passing through the area, we made a fantastic discovery at this restaurant. I recommend making a reservation. We tried their truffade, a potato and cheese gratin that's an absolute must-try.
Highly recommended.

25/03/2026: A very good culinary experience, especially for Auvergne specialties like truffade and aligot. The decor is lovely, in the style of an old ski resort, and the restaurant is really very large, so perfect for a group!
08/03/2026: We stayed for a weekend and dined at Les 500 Diables. A pleasant break in a relaxing setting. The staff are very friendly and the food is good. I recommend both the hotel and the restaurant.

15/12/2024: Restaurant that you absolutely must discover. The dishes are excellent and the service impeccable. All products are fresh with a beautiful presentation.
I would add that the pancakes served in the afternoon for young and old are delicious without forgetting the mulled wine to comfort the hikers after the tour of the lake.
04/12/2024: Perfection: pleasant but simple setting, relaxed but respectful welcome, refined but complete menu, simple but excellent products, careful cuisine but without unnecessary frills.
Thank you for allowing us to escape burgers, pizzas and other fried steaks by offering us an Auvergne that is both modern and traditional.

01/07/2024: Nous étions en demi-pension. Pas grand choix au petit-déjeuner. Le repas du soir ... pas terrible. Mais serveurs très gentils.
Les chambres : murs en carton et nettoyage laisse à désirer (ils ne font uniquement que le lit).
L'hôtel bien situé. Parking à disposition des clients.
23/06/2024: Nous avons été très bien mangé .Nous avons apprécié la truffade et la générosité du plat ainsi que les desserts ( particulièrement le soufflet verveine et le moelleux au chocolat).Au service les garçons en salle étaient très sympathique. Vue sur le lac et les montagnes environnantes très appréciable. Merci à l’équipe qui est aussi dog-friendly !!!
