12/03/2026: A great place to enjoy local dishes made with regional products. The platter intended for two (cheese, charcuterie, crudités) was actually for four, and we couldn't finish it there. We asked them to pack it up! Draft beer, house wine, and calf's head were on the menu this week. The service was impeccable, and the staff were friendly. The terrace is a bonus, offering a lovely view of the facades and architecture of this small town.

The food, classic brasserie fare, is good and the portions are generous. The staff is pleasant, although they seem a little unsure of their footing.

16/02/2026: A truly disappointing experience.
There were three of us teenagers, and the service was particularly poor from beginning to end. We waited an interminable amount of time before anyone even came to take our order, whether for main courses or desserts.
In total, we spent almost two hours waiting… only to finally eat in 15 minutes.
It's a shame, because we came hoping to have a good time, but the organization and attention to customer service were clearly lacking.

01/03/2026: The renovated rooms were beautiful. The only downside was that we arrived Saturday evening at 7 pm and all the restaurants were full. There was nothing to eat except perhaps takeaway pizzas.
21/02/2026: Newly renovated rooms, exactly what you'd expect from a Campanile in this area. Easy to eat nearby, and a full breakfast is provided.
Perfect for a stopover; basic amenities but everything you need is there. Clean and comfortable rooms. Lovely welcome! 🙃

14/03/2026: Everything was perfect! A warm welcome, excellent cuisine, impeccable service—everything was in place for a delightful meal. We weren't disturbed at all by the noise from the other tables, which were quite large.
Despite the high volume of customers, the service was smooth, provided by smiling and efficient staff. My only advice: go!

I've been a loyal customer of Le Zinc for many years. I'm used to coming here regularly, either for business or pleasure, always with company. Sometimes during the week, sometimes on weekends.
I've decided, I'm going to try other restaurants in Riom from now on, because the bills are becoming unbearable. Just look at this: for a weekday lunch, without aperitifs or drinks (only tap water), we paid almost €100!!!
Do the math: over €30 per person for a weekday lunch, for one main course and dessert!
The worst part was seeing the price of the desserts: €9.50 each!!! I can't fathom these prices in an establishment of this "standard." Sure, the interior is nice and the portions are generous, but it's certainly not a bistro! We'll now be going to other excellent restaurants in Riom (and I'm not talking about establishments in the same area as yours), where the cuisine is often more refined... and the bill less steep!

03/03/2026: A great menu with many regional dishes. Be warned, the portions are generous. The truffade was excellent. Very convenient too, right next to the motorway exit, so a quick and easy stop.

18/03/2026: Great improvements to the programming, atmosphere, lighting, and sound. The layout is much better for an evening out. I really like this place.
17/03/2026: The party for my birthday and the 22nd anniversary of the Indian Saloon was fantastic! The atmosphere was amazing, finally a DJ who didn't just talk all the time! The setting is great and the restaurant-nightclub concept is excellent (just what we need in Savoie).
We had tapas: excellent, generous portions, very tasty, and a very reasonable price.
Thanks again, we danced a lot and had a great evening.
