14/04/2026: We waited an hour for our starter, which was supposed to be an appetizer. Nothing was offered to tide us over. The waitress tried to speed things up afterward. The food was poorly prepared and overcooked.

09/10/2025: We spent the night of October 8, 2025, at the Benat Hotel in Anglet. A wonderful welcome from the owner, who waited for us even though it was supposed to be closing. The room is small but spotlessly clean, with a small but adequate bathroom, a TV, and a super comfortable bed. The toilet is on the landing, except for a small downside, but for one night, it's not a big deal. A nice and pleasant breakfast. What can I say? A pleasant break in a beautiful location with a super friendly and pleasant owner.

21/02/2026: A few years ago, I was a little disappointed. The wait was long and the waiter wasn't very pleasant.
But last night, on my return visit, I had a wonderful time. The welcome, the meal, and the atmosphere were all fantastic. Pierre makes amazing pizzas.
When everything is good, it's important to be honest and say so. I highly recommend this restaurant.
21/02/2026: We had a very good meal last night and received a very warm welcome. Pierre is truly the best pizza maker in Anglet.
I'm also writing to correct a negative review posted by my best friend some time ago, which I hope he'll remove since he also enjoyed his meal yesterday.

16/01/2026: La Chope has been my go-to spot for a few years now. The atmosphere is always incredibly fun, the bartenders are amazing, and a night out at La Chope creates memories that will last a lifetime. Just THANK YOU 🫶

21/12/2025: We had a wonderful Sunday lunch at Patxi's!
It was pouring rain, but the warm atmosphere of the restaurant made us forget the bad weather.
The servers were friendly, welcoming, and attentive.
The food was varied and of high quality.
We will gladly return.

21/03/2026: I can't judge; at 2 PM I was refused service, the terrace was full even though it was full. Service had ended, and the terrace was full.
09/03/2026: Accompanied by a disabled person with reduced mobility, we received a very unpleasant welcome from the waitress, even though the terrace was almost empty.
Living in Anglet, I don't think I would recommend this establishment.

11/04/2026: I wondered why the waitress held the panini with both hands to give it to me... It was as thin as cigarette paper. Plus, the first two sandwiches were just bread... and then more bread, and the middle was pretty uninteresting. I was very disappointed. The quality and quantity are no longer there; I won't be going back.
The response from Bilagoon seven months later (they've finally finished their card game...) was ironic, without any self-reflection. Being from the area, I won't be returning...

Lagunak is much more than a beach bar: it's a magical place where every visit becomes a special moment. The location is unbeatable, right on the oceanfront, ideal for watching the sunset with a glass of wine or a cold beer. The atmosphere is relaxed, with a charming mix of locals, surfers, and travelers who create a truly authentic energy.
The menu offers tasty options, generous burgers, and fresh choices like salads and poké bowls. All at reasonable prices, especially considering the setting. The service is friendly and efficient, always with a smile. Keep in mind that, for example, the entire sandwich and burger menu is only available at lunchtime; at dinnertime, only appetizers or tapas are available. I don't recommend the crepe, but I do recommend the waffle with Nutella and Chantilly cream.
