21/02/2026: Nice setting and a friendly staff overall, except for one guy; he was fast-talking, impatient, and managed to get angry for no reason at two tables in five minutes, including ours, lecturing my friend as if we were still 17. We weren't in his bar, but he acted like he owned it. Despite this unpleasant experience, we still enjoyed it. Perhaps it was just his off day; let's hope it doesn't happen often.

18/04/2026: Hello, I don't usually write this type of review, but I was disappointed with this establishment. I contacted them but received no response, so I wanted to share my experience. First, I want to clarify that this message is intended to be constructive and help improve the experience for future guests. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with our stay, especially compared to the expectations associated with your establishment's 5-star rating. Regarding the overwater bungalow: • The size and layout did not match the photos on Booking and other platforms. We had a bungalow of approximately 20 square meters, without a lounge area, which was less comfortable than we had imagined. • The sloping floor was difficult to live in, and a constant noise, probably from the pump, disturbed our stay despite our complaints. • The finishing touches in the suite were disappointing: damaged and torn curtains, a poorly attached toilet paper holder, no way to play music, a telephone not fixed to the wall, and marks and imperfections on the walls and paint. These details give an overall impression of lower quality than one would expect from a 5-star hotel. Regarding the spa: • Upon arrival, we waited 10 minutes without being greeted. • Bathrobes and towels were neither available nor neatly arranged, which created confusion regarding seating. We therefore shared a lounge chair, and no drinks were offered. • The spa did not match the images: no hammam, only a small sauna, and the showers showed signs of mold. The slippers appeared to be reused, which was neither pleasant nor hygienic. Regarding breakfast: • Arriving at 10:00 AM, several items were missing. For €36, the service seemed somewhat out of step with what is offered on-site. Other points: • I noticed on resale sites that some prices were lower than those offered directly by the hotel, with additional services included. When I mentioned this, the response was that it was due to supply and demand. It remains surprising, especially for 5-star establishments, that third parties can offer a lower price than the hotel. Positive points: • The staff who took us to the boat were very friendly and welcoming. • The sommelier was pleasant and attentive. In summary, our overall experience did not live up to our expectations for a 5-star stay, and I was quite disappointed. However, I hope that this feedback will be taken constructively to improve services and the satisfaction of future guests. 06/04/2026: Absolutely perfect! A very friendly welcome, and the staff were dynamic and smiling. The kebab is excellent: the lamb, the white sauce, and the homemade bread are all delicious. I highly recommend it. Go without hesitation. I can't wait to go back.

31/01/2026: AVOID THIS RESTAURANT! The dining room is on par with a kebab shop in a freezing neighborhood (a single electric heater that barely provides any warmth). Dirty, stained red tablecloths covered with white paper. The toilets are dilapidated, without seats, and the floor hasn't seen a mop in ages. The semi-open kitchen offers a view of the sink piled high with dishes, even though there were only four of us. The pitas were clearly mass-produced (I saw the package open), served cold, and then reheated in the microwave after a poorly received complaint... they were like cardboard! The tabbouleh was without bulgur, and the rice with vermicelli was undercooked... only the hummus and the kefta were decent... it's easy to see why this restaurant is deserted!

20/11/2025: I'm giving one star for the staff's smiles. To begin with, there was no heating; we were told it would warm up with the crowds. No Beaujolais Nouveau was offered on its release day. There was no choice of menu; it was a set menu for workers, even though the website makes no mention of this and there's a nice menu with good ingredients. We managed to get the duck breast with honey sauce listed on the menu, but it didn't have the sauce. According to them, we should have specified when ordering that we wanted it. Apparently, according to the owner, this restaurant will close and reopen in January. It's best to wait for the reopening before going.

19/10/2025: A really pleasant time spent, both in terms of the setting, the welcome and the dishes, TOP quality/price. The staff was super friendly and also gave my little dog an exceptional welcome. Being from the region, I don't know it, and well, I'm sure I'll come back. Thank you very much.

28/03/2026: After over 50 deliveries to my place, I'm glad to have them nearby. Without them, it would be a real hassle to get something delivered at a decent price without using apps. And their food, for fast food, is good, it's very decent. Basque fries and even cheddar, homemade sauce, and thick-crust pizza. The only thing is, the deliveries are never quite the same. Sometimes I don't get any sauce, sometimes I get loads of napkins, sometimes I get a flyer... It would be better if the deliveries were consistent and regular, and they shouldn't skimp on the quantities 😉. I mention this because sometimes I drive to the one in Bayonne (because they won't deliver to me since I'm in Anglet), and we eat better there. Thanks!

25/04/2026: I'm giving it one star because unfortunately zero isn't an option: The service is subpar; the waiters are awful and belittled some of my students. There's also a clear lack of experience and enthusiasm among the staff. Politeness is foreign to them; they don't even say hello or goodbye. The speculoos in my gourmet coffee was mushy, and the meal was of extremely dubious quality. The dining room is in terrible condition (see photo): an unusable sink and dirty dishes. After a long bus journey, we came here seeking a little comfort, but it was a dreadful experience. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

25/04/2026: I am extremely disappointed!! I came once before and was extremely disappointed! I wanted to try again to give it a chance, and sure enough, it didn't disappoint! The receptionist is very pleasant and polite! However, in the kitchen, the staff are very, very unpleasant, lacking in politeness, and extremely disorganized. This is the second time I've come and eaten meat that was blue, even raw, when I ordered it rare; it was still frozen! I had to ask them to microwave it… The organization is terrible. It's unclear where the grill and the cooking area are located, and when you make a mistake and explain that it's not very well explained, you are met with a very unpleasant response. I quote: "Can't you see I don't have a grill in front of me? I can't cook your steak!" "As for the unlimited side dishes, there's never anything; the plates are always empty, and the frozen vegetables are swimming in water. I find that very disappointing! On the plus side: a fresh water fountain is available."

20/03/2026: Very fast service, the staff are very friendly. We were already familiar with the concept, but it didn't hurt to explain it again and give us tips for making the best sandwich. Never disappointed! The cookies are to die for!!
