09/08/2026: Very disappointed 😞 There were only three tables reserved, not even 20 people in total… We waited 45 minutes (our glass of white wine had plenty of time to get warm) to be served hake Spanish style… which, by the way, apparently had absolutely no garlic…
Anyway, we asked for a decaf and were told they were out of it 😆😦 As for the price, it's really not cheap at all… over €40 per person is very expensive for what we ate.
We won't be back… What a shame.
02/08/2026: Absolutely not recommended. Having made a reservation for 7 people at 9 pm, we arrived 5 minutes late. The owner informed us that he had "sold" the table and therefore forced us to go inside, even though we had reserved a table on the terrace. The extremely unpleasant owner told us he was at home and rudely asked us to wait.

14/08/2026: A very generous meal for €18 or €25, typical regional cuisine, with beautifully presented dishes of excellent quality. A must-try, you won't be disappointed. Underrated for its quality, it deserves at least 4.5 overall.
12/08/2026: In this age of the internet, check the restaurant's payment information and you'll stop crying foul,
especially since you've surely already looked at the menu and prices!
Auguste hasn't accepted credit cards for years because of the associated fees.
We go back regularly and are very satisfied with the value for money and the portion sizes.
As for the tourists who find the owner unpleasant, start by behaving properly!

04/08/2026: I was a loyal customer until this year, but I'll never set foot in there again. The prices are exorbitant for products that are almost never local, and not even French! They're very often out of stock. And almost every time, there are mistakes at the till where they charge much more for an item than what you actually bought. In the end, I asked for the receipt every time, and every time there was a mistake. When I see the other similar comments, it can't be a coincidence. It's shameful to treat customers like that. We really should boycott them to support local producers, who are better, much cheaper, and lovely, like at Elizaldia Farm.
15/06/2026: Two very pleasant salespeople who say hello and smile, but the gentleman at the register with long hair is rude, unpleasant, and has a disdainful look. It's probably too late to teach him manners, but a little courtesy never hurt anyone. 💋

01/10/2025: I recommend this very pretty, wooded and well-maintained campsite, with welcoming staff. There is pedestrian access to the beach and a little further away the center of the typically Basque village is magnificent. The outdoor pool is pleasant, and the indoor pool at 30 degrees with whirlpools and massage jets is a major asset of the campsite, to refresh and relax after a beautiful day of walks. The grocery store is also appreciated.

03/01/2025: I recently had the opportunity to stay at a lovely two-star hotel, and the experience exceeded my expectations. Despite its category, the hotel stands out for its customer service and comfort, offering a warm and pleasant stay.
The rooms are simple but well maintained, with the essentials to rest comfortably. The cleanliness was impeccable, and although there were no frills, the details were well thought out: a comfortable bed, good lighting and enough space to move around.
Excellent location and services.

21/08/2024: Point de vue magnifique. Il est 18h20 c est le marché nocturne on l a jamais essayé on se dit c est l occasion on demande est ce possible de boire un verre . Il y a de la place.On nous répond mal .on nous répond ouais mais non c'est un peu tard pour boire un verre.. à 18h20.... On nous place une jolie place ... Du coup on aurait pu commander à manger mais on le fera pas..
