10/11/2025: I was extremely disappointed by the Basque cake with cream; the cream was now just a thin, rubbery layer.
It's nothing like the quality it was a few years ago! New owners...?
28/10/2025: For the past six years, every time we're in the area, we make a detour to the mill to buy the corn cake that my boyfriend loves so much.
The welcome is often so unpleasant that it makes us not want to come back… Yet, we still return for the cakes we love, especially the corn cake and the cream cake.
The place seems so peaceful and charming, but once you step through the mill's door, you're greeted by an extraordinary coldness from the saleswoman. It's a shame; it ruins everything. 😕

21/09/2024: Très déçus et TROP ONEREUX !! :-(
- portions trop petites : le porc Quintoa à 25€ par personne (pas assez moelleux et fondant) comportant seulement 3 morceaux et quasiment pas d'accompagnement !!
- la pavlova pour 2 avec seulement quelques tranches de pèche l'intérieur pour 25€ !! (très insuffisant pour 2)
- la bière à 6€ en bouteille 25cl !!! le verre de vin 10cl d'Irouléguy à 6€ et le cidre à 7€ les 25cl !!
- assiette de charcuterie locale quelconque à 22€ !
+ musique TROP FORTE , Désagréable, rendant difficile la discussion à table !! (on est censé être dans un restaurant gastronomique et pas un bar !!)
Je suis sorti en ayant encore faim alors que je ne suis pas un gros mangeur et mal au crâne !!
Dommage car le cadre est agréable !
08/09/2024: Plan a small budget, but it's well worth it for this great restaurant! A delicious and varied menu, top service, local and seasonal products.

01/10/2025: I recommend this very pretty, wooded and well-maintained campsite, with welcoming staff. There is pedestrian access to the beach and a little further away the center of the typically Basque village is magnificent. The outdoor pool is pleasant, and the indoor pool at 30 degrees with whirlpools and massage jets is a major asset of the campsite, to refresh and relax after a beautiful day of walks. The grocery store is also appreciated.

21/08/2024: Point de vue magnifique. Il est 18h20 c est le marché nocturne on l a jamais essayé on se dit c est l occasion on demande est ce possible de boire un verre . Il y a de la place.On nous répond mal .on nous répond ouais mais non c'est un peu tard pour boire un verre.. à 18h20.... On nous place une jolie place ... Du coup on aurait pu commander à manger mais on le fera pas..
21/08/2024: Endroit très agréable. Bon déjeuner. Essayer le Taloa.
Et un personnel pro et gentil.
On se sent chez soi même le 21 août (fin de saison).

A technical cuisine that combines delicacy and quality. A need for comfort or even pleasure??? Don’t hesitate and head to this restaurant that I highly recommend.
A friendly, family atmosphere awaits you as well as very pleasant service.
