06/05/2026: Visiting Bidart once or twice a year, this was our first time discovering the restaurant Le Cucaracha. After being approached by the manager (thinking it was closed), we went in despite it being open and thoroughly enjoyed the à la carte menu. It was sublime, especially the dessert made with apple, walnuts, caramelized fruit, whipped cream, and sheep's milk curd: simply the best! Thank you, we'll be back.
03/05/2026: This restaurant was an excellent choice. The welcome was perfect, the staff very pleasant, and we ate very, very well.
We will be back.

26/04/2026: A great weekend camping with two children. The campsite is very well located and extremely well equipped.
26/04/2026: We loved this campsite. It met all our expectations: close to the beach and the bus stop for exploring the surrounding area, beautifully finished bungalows in a lovely setting, a great gym, a heated pool, and very friendly staff (hooray for padel, ping pong, and aqua dancing!). We highly recommend it!

The owner is unfriendly to vacationers.
He doesn't accept credit cards.
The establishment is unkempt. The food is very bland... And I'm being kind.

The Basque cake with cream and cherry was delicious. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
12/05/2026: I'm a Basque cake enthusiast, and for many years I've enjoyed them in various places—some excellent, some good, and some not so good.
I bought a cherry Basque cake from this establishment a few days ago.
It was completely dry, tasteless, with a thin layer of jam that was really unpleasant.
It didn't resemble a Basque cake at all, but rather a large pancake with a little jam inside.
I'm extremely disappointed, considering the reputation of this establishment, the price I paid, and the Basque cake I bought there a few years ago.

01/10/2025: I recommend this very pretty, wooded and well-maintained campsite, with welcoming staff. There is pedestrian access to the beach and a little further away the center of the typically Basque village is magnificent. The outdoor pool is pleasant, and the indoor pool at 30 degrees with whirlpools and massage jets is a major asset of the campsite, to refresh and relax after a beautiful day of walks. The grocery store is also appreciated.

03/01/2025: I recently had the opportunity to stay at a lovely two-star hotel, and the experience exceeded my expectations. Despite its category, the hotel stands out for its customer service and comfort, offering a warm and pleasant stay.
The rooms are simple but well maintained, with the essentials to rest comfortably. The cleanliness was impeccable, and although there were no frills, the details were well thought out: a comfortable bed, good lighting and enough space to move around.
Excellent location and services.

Et un personnel pro et gentil.
On se sent chez soi même le 21 août (fin de saison).

21/08/2024: Point de vue magnifique. Il est 18h20 c est le marché nocturne on l a jamais essayé on se dit c est l occasion on demande est ce possible de boire un verre . Il y a de la place.On nous répond mal .on nous répond ouais mais non c'est un peu tard pour boire un verre.. à 18h20.... On nous place une jolie place ... Du coup on aurait pu commander à manger mais on le fera pas..
