06/09/2026: Lunch was excellent - perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Our server was terrific. She spoke English and was patient with our efforts at French. :) She also recommended an excellent bottle of wine to accompany our meal. Overall, a fantastic experience!
02/09/2026: This is my second time at this restaurant, and it's still just as amazing! 🤩 Everything is delicious, the dishes are truly excellent, and the service is top-notch.
I wholeheartedly recommend this place, and I'll definitely be back!

16/09/2026: Generous portions in the kitchen, with classic bistro dishes executed with flair.
Dynamic and friendly service adds a touch of conviviality to the place.
The interior setting and ambiance remain fairly traditional.

We thoroughly enjoyed the new flavors. It requires a little patience, but it's well worth it.
Special mention goes to the bread, baked on-site, which is simply the best bread I've ever eaten.
09/09/2026: The best food of the holiday!
Super friendly and helpful service and the food was fantastic. Very tasty and unique dishes. My boyfriend had delicious wine with it, and I was offered an alcohol-free wine due to my pregnancy. Normally I'm not such a fan of alcohol-free wine, but this one was very tasty!
If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely come back!

21/05/2026: A memorable 3-night stay. The room we stayed in was exceptionally beautiful, decorated with taste and refinement. The hotel boasts an incredible swimming pool, sauna, and Nordine bath. We also enjoyed an exceptional couples massage. The cleanliness of the premises—room, common areas, and grounds—was impeccable. And what can we say about the Michelin-starred restaurant? We give it 5 stars; it's simply an explosion of flavors for the palate and a feast for the eyes. Simply perfect.
A huge thank you also to the entire team, who were incredibly attentive and always had a kind and friendly word. Thank you, Mr. Ibarboure, for this wonderful stay. We won't share any photos; we'll let you come and admire this enchanting place for yourselves.

17/05/2026: We spent one night and had a meal there. A very nice establishment with lovely staff! Smiling, helpful, and efficient!
The food is excellent in an atmosphere truly representative of the Basque Country. We look forward to returning. Thank you for everything!

02/09/2026: A warm welcome. Thank you to the waitress for the thoughtful touches. The food was good value for money.
The ribeye steak was excellent, and the baby squid was a generous portion. Highly recommended.
27/08/2026: We ate at Brasserie Spot yesterday at lunchtime and had a wonderful time! The all-you-can-eat baby squid was simply incredible, a real treat.
A big thank you to the waitresses who were lovely, very attentive, and kind throughout the meal. As it was very hot, they even offered to turn on the air conditioning so we would be more comfortable.
Even our little dog was welcome, which was really great 😊
Everything was delicious, the service was top-notch, and the welcome was warm. We will definitely be back!

31/08/2026: Expensive for what's served on the plate; it has no taste.
The dishes were served with no presentation whatsoever.
The waiter was quite rude, and the waitress, who is also the owner, was neither pleasant nor friendly. She was aggressive, asking if we had anything against her, a bit paranoid. When you ask her for an explanation about an appetizer, she replies, "It's written down." In short, I won't be going back and I wouldn't recommend it.
30/08/2026: A superb stopover, and we were lucky enough to get a table at the last minute.
All the dishes were excellent and generous, the view was superb, and the terrace overlooking the view was lovely. A wonderful discovery.

09/08/2026: Very disappointed 😞 There were only three tables reserved, not even 20 people in total… We waited 45 minutes (our glass of white wine had plenty of time to get warm) to be served hake Spanish style… which, by the way, apparently had absolutely no garlic…
Anyway, we asked for a decaf and were told they were out of it 😆😦 As for the price, it's really not cheap at all… over €40 per person is very expensive for what we ate.
We won't be back… What a shame.
02/08/2026: Absolutely not recommended. Having made a reservation for 7 people at 9 pm, we arrived 5 minutes late. The owner informed us that he had "sold" the table and therefore forced us to go inside, even though we had reserved a table on the terrace. The extremely unpleasant owner told us he was at home and rudely asked us to wait.

27/08/2026: I bought a Basque cream cake yesterday for 14 euros. The bottom of the cake was burnt, the cream was rubbery and practically nonexistent compared to the amount of batter. The cream had no flavor, and the pastry was dry. The quality is equivalent to a supermarket cake, to put it kindly.
You might have gotten a good deal on the baguette, but as for the cakes…
I've known this place for forty years; the cakes used to be very good. What a drop in quality and authenticity!
I absolutely do not recommend it. There are other places where the cakes are much better. Seeing a TV report on this place shouldn't lull you into complacency about quality. Ask yourself the right questions…
27/08/2026: What a disappointment! Ever since I was little, I've been used to eating the famous Basque cake from Moulin de Bassilour. But I have to resign myself to speaking of it in the past tense. I came this summer with the firm intention of rediscovering those flavors of yesteryear. So you can imagine my disappointment when I tasted this cake. It was dry, with far too little butter in the dough, and the proportion of cream in the cake was clearly insufficient. Moreover, the cream had a rubbery texture in the mouth. How sad, considering how good it used to be! If you want to choke on your food, I recommend it; otherwise, avoid it at all costs. It's not enough to land a feature on Jean-Pierre Pernaut's legendary 1 p.m. news program; you have to learn from it and work to maintain a sufficient level of quality.

04/08/2026: I was a loyal customer until this year, but I'll never set foot in there again. The prices are exorbitant for products that are almost never local, and not even French! They're very often out of stock. And almost every time, there are mistakes at the till where they charge much more for an item than what you actually bought. In the end, I asked for the receipt every time, and every time there was a mistake. When I see the other similar comments, it can't be a coincidence. It's shameful to treat customers like that. We really should boycott them to support local producers, who are better, much cheaper, and lovely, like at Elizaldia Farm.
15/06/2026: Two very pleasant salespeople who say hello and smile, but the gentleman at the register with long hair is rude, unpleasant, and has a disdainful look. It's probably too late to teach him manners, but a little courtesy never hurt anyone. 💋

01/10/2025: I recommend this very pretty, wooded and well-maintained campsite, with welcoming staff. There is pedestrian access to the beach and a little further away the center of the typically Basque village is magnificent. The outdoor pool is pleasant, and the indoor pool at 30 degrees with whirlpools and massage jets is a major asset of the campsite, to refresh and relax after a beautiful day of walks. The grocery store is also appreciated.

03/01/2025: I recently had the opportunity to stay at a lovely two-star hotel, and the experience exceeded my expectations. Despite its category, the hotel stands out for its customer service and comfort, offering a warm and pleasant stay.
The rooms are simple but well maintained, with the essentials to rest comfortably. The cleanliness was impeccable, and although there were no frills, the details were well thought out: a comfortable bed, good lighting and enough space to move around.
Excellent location and services.
