26/07/2026: A word of advice: TURN AROUND! We came for drinks and a snack. We shouldn't have. So we ordered: a latte, a decaf, and being a tea lover, I naturally ordered a tea too. Negative points: The dishes were dirty, barely washed… there were dried coffee stains on the spoons and cups, the decaf was incredibly bitter, but the tea! It tasted awful, like it was several years old, which wouldn't surprise me given the rather yellowed bag… after some research, I found my answer: it was a cheap, low-quality "Lord Nelson" tea from Lidl. Probably expired. And when I see the characteristics of this tea, I immediately understand the problem. The latte was undrinkable… If the drinks are already awful, there's no point even questioning the quality of the food! 🤮 Anyway, we saw people ordering food… and they didn't even finish their plates! The only positive point: The young waitress, who was very smiley and kind. Sure, the prices are affordable, but if you're going to eat and drink disgusting things, it's not worth it. We won't be back! 😤

26/07/2026: We were looking for a restaurant to eat at before heading home (end of vacation), and we stopped at this restaurant. In all the years we've come to Argelès, I'd never thought to stop here. It was very good, we thoroughly enjoyed the fresh ingredients, and the waitresses were very pleasant. We'll be back. Thank you.

25/07/2026: The menu was generous and very good, and the servers were excellent. We had a great time. The duck breast was slightly undercooked, but otherwise everything was good.

25/07/2026: The welcome was friendly, but that's about the only positive point. The cocktails were far too sweet, with way too much syrup. As for the paella, it was swimming in water and completely bland, with absolutely no flavor. Very disappointing. Avoid this place.

23/07/2026: Perfect! Nothing to complain about! We came for a drink and ended up staying all evening! Fast and friendly service! Friendly staff! The tapas were excellent value for money! We'll definitely be back! 😀

07/07/2026: Once again we were not disappointed by our visit to Solazo, service and food were top-notch, the anti-crisis menu is well thought out, the pizzas are more than good, nothing to report!

01/07/2026: I ordered a seafood platter, it had no taste whatsoever, it was pure frozen. I asked for aioli to go with it and instead received sachet mayonnaise. Honestly, avoid it.

08/05/2026: A very pleasant stay at Camping du Bois de Valmarie. A good campsite, the mobile home was clean and well-equipped. Perhaps a small television would have been a welcome addition, even just to watch the news, for example. We were a little disappointed with the jacuzzi area, which was too cold for our liking. Initially reserved for adults (18+), the pool was repeatedly filled with children (with their parents in the sun loungers...). Why not implement supervision, if it isn't already in place? On the plus side, the mini-market isn't too expensive for basic camping supplies, and the site is well-located. Bicycles, a griddle, and paddleboards are available for rent.

07/05/2026: Very friendly staff. I had an American kebab which was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place.

31/07/2026: A breakfast is €7.10 and a set menu is €3.10, but an orange juice will cost you €4. Be careful with the set menus. During service, they forgot one of our set menus, and when it came time to pay, they told me they'd sort it out with a big smile. I just paid the regular price. Two stars for the nice setting.

21/07/2026: The bread was very good. The pizzas were great, the sandwiches were also great and both were generously filled. The cakes were very good. I recommend it.

05/08/2026: As every year, it's a real pleasure to return to L'Améthyste restaurant in Port Argelès. We thoroughly enjoyed the mussels and fries—generous portions, delicious flavors, and perfectly prepared. A true delight from start to finish! But beyond the quality of the food, it's the warm welcome that makes us want to come back. This year again, we were served by a team of smiling, friendly, and very attentive waiters, always with a kind word that made our day. A big thank you also to the charming hostess, whose smile, kindness, and good humor helped create a warm atmosphere from the moment we arrived. She truly makes a difference and deserves to be recognized. Thank you to the entire team for your professionalism and hospitality. We had a wonderful time and will gladly return during our next stay in Port Argelès. See you soon! ☀️🦪🍟

05/08/2026: The food is good and the ingredients are of good quality. The service is quick. However, I'm deducting a star because of the welcome! The service was cold and unfriendly, a feeling shared by everyone at the table.

23/07/2026: What a wonderful discovery on the port of Argeles-sur-Mer! We had an excellent meal (the mussels au gratin with aioli are to die for!) and the service was top-notch. The price is more than reasonable! In short, give it a try; I think you won't be disappointed.

21/07/2026: I regularly go to the Casino du Der, which is excellent. The one in Améli-les-Bains is also very good, but the one in Argeles has a major problem. Getting a glass of water is extremely difficult. The service is very poor.

15/07/2026: The staff were friendly, but the casino is far too small with outdated machines. There are also very few poker machines. A shame.

16/07/2026: We came to eat and ordered a cheeseburger and two cans of soda. As soon as we were served, we were told to hurry up, that it was "a bit much" to only order a cheeseburger at this time of day. Yet, it was dinnertime, and there's no wrong time to eat a cheeseburger. I find this way of treating customers unacceptable. We ate and left without making a fuss, but being rushed and judged based on what you order is truly regrettable. As the saying goes, "The customer is always king." I won't be back.

14/07/2026: A very disappointing experience. There were four of us, and we ordered drinks several times throughout the evening, so it's hard to understand why the staff did everything they could to push us out. We had simply come to have a good time and watch the World Cup match. However, even before the first half was over, we felt that our presence was a nuisance. The staff were cold, unpleasant, and made it very clear that we had to leave as quickly as possible. They even went so far as to try to pack our food into a bag to make us leave, even though we hadn't finished eating or watching the match. In addition to this appalling welcome, the food was far from satisfactory: it was dry, bland, and frankly, not good. Between the quality of the food and the staff's attitude, the evening was completely ruined. Being treated this way after ordering and paying multiple times is simply unacceptable. We will not be returning, and we absolutely do not recommend this establishment.
