14/09/2024: This restaurant is called Al Catala, but the menue does little to introduce a visitor to Catalan cuisine. When we visited, only two other tables were occupied, and despite the owners' good humour, there was little atmosphere. We each had two courses. We both had a magret of duck. Rathe than a whole breast, we were each served half a duck breast half a small potato rosti one baby tomato and a few undefined vegetables. I chose for dessert the crunchy pavlova, with pistachio cream and fruit collie and fresh fruit. The pavlova was not crunch it was tough. The pistachio cream did not taste pistachio, and the fruit was a few small raspberries and unhulled baby strawberries My wife had the cheese board of four different cheeses. Each piece of cheese was very, very small Together with a half bottle of wine and a small beer, this meal costed 103 Euros. Though the duck was well cooked, the meal was not value for money and was not an introduction to Catalan food

05/09/2024: Un cadre charmant et de la cuisine qu’on peut faire chez soi mais avec une jolie présentation. Tout était excellent. Petit bémol pour l’accueil fort ironique voire désagréable et un serveur qui devrait plutôt dormir le dimanche que faire son travail machinalement. Cela vaut il le prix ? Je pense qu’on paye le cadre.

28/05/2024: Top restaurant, delicious food, very tasty and super friendly and attentive service. Highly recommended, reservations are absolutely necessary. Unfortunately in April/May 24 the restaurant was temporarily closed 🤷‍♂️

16/08/2024: We found this restaurant simply excellent. The cuisine is homemade, organic and the products are local. We had lunch outside, one afternoon, on a market day and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The staff are lovely. We highly recommend!
