11/03/2024: We came to eat in this establishment on Saturday, superb discovery, the service was top notch and warm, the waitress was very pleasant and attentive to good service of our dishes, and the dishes were very tasty, the meat was of very good quality, we are delighted to have come eat in this pretty restaurant. The boss is very pleasant and those are also very pleasant to be received so well. I really recommend this restaurant, we will return there with great pleasure

It is great for those traveling and looking for some nice spot, willing to have the experience of the conviviality and comfort of the small streets of Lyon, without falling into tourist trap assembling-restaurants. Here you'll find honest and simple food on the menu, fastly served, and by very polite and helpful people. It's not haut nouvelle cuisine - it's honest and simple. The atmosphere is simple and very relaxing. Perfect place for a chill evening!

25/01/2024: Thierry the owner was very patient and explained his cheeses...he vacumn packed a selection for me to take back home while I went for a walk around the area. Fun guy too...even gave me a cloth carrying bag as I forgot my backpack. Highly recommend for cheese lovers!

11/05/2024: We waited carefully for a table to become available, after taking a seat, we were taken care of immediately and the service was fast. Homemade dishes, fresh and very generous produce. I recommend!! In a small pedestrian street, quite atypical, perfect to end our stay and keep a good little memory. Great welcome and top service!

Yes, the formula may seem excessive but it puts Chef Galvan in the firmament of our culinary experiences, including Michelin stars. We WILL NOT SPOILER this unique gastronomic adventure as discovery is part of the concept of this Chef with extremely rare talent and sensitivity. Let yourself be carried away by the many surprises, improbable and deliciously regressive flavors. Accept the idea that cooking can be stunning and sublime. Forget everything you thought you knew about the concept of dishes or assortments. This tour de force, both technical and gustatory, is the stuff of genius. Eat Galvan and die... of pleasures! THANKS !

21/05/2024: Surprising welcome, in fact because it takes place in the basement in a vaulted cellar Very small preview room, fairly cold welcome by the waitresses. For the dishes, it was good, just a big disappointment for the roasted St Marcellin because there was only a little cheese on top, the rest underneath was, it seems to me, onion, I'm not sure, it There was only that in taste after all. The dumplings were very good but very little sauce for me, the desserts were good. I, who don't have a big appetite, was still left wanting more but overall the taste was there. The big problem is proximity to others. We found ourselves at a table of 6 people, between two couples, in the middle of strangers. I didn't understand the concept because there was space absolutely everywhere, there were also single tables. Very complicated to discuss because we heard the neighbors more than anything else... the arrangement needs to be reviewed or first ask the customer if it bothers them to be stuck to the others or not because as a result, we had to struggling to fully enjoy the meal 😕
