01/03/2026: Probably the nicest restaurant in the area with a market menu (changed every two weeks). Even without a reservation, we were greeted with a smile by the owner and his team, their infectious good humor and incredibly pleasant, chic, convivial atmosphere. The food was a delight: the perfect egg with foie gras sauce was to die for, the steak tartare was just the right amount of delicious with perfectly fresh fries, and the lemon cake was a true Proustian madeleine, with an extra touch of indulgence in white chocolate. Go without hesitation!

13/02/2026: We really like this restaurant; the setting is lovely, the food is delicious and good value for money, and the service is excellent. I'm not giving it 5 stars because I was a little disappointed after our visit last night. One of the waitresses, or perhaps the manager, was doing her nails behind the till after service had already started. It wasn't a big deal, but it was a bit disconcerting. There was no salt or pepper on the table, and certainly no bread, which is always welcome with risotto. One of the waitresses did cut some bread, but only for herself. Then came the dessert, a Canadian ice cream sundae. I'm sorry, but I had to search for my scoops of vanilla ice cream, which were really small; the two scoops together made up just one. These are really minor things; perhaps it was just an off night—we're only human. We'll come back anyway because everything is great in principle.

04/02/2026: I was very disappointed with my experience. I ordered a calzone that arrived with the dough still elastic and clearly undercooked inside. I pointed this out, and they offered to make it again… but unfortunately, the second one was exactly the same: raw dough and cold mozzarella inside. As a result, I simply couldn't eat my meal. There was no apology, no gesture of goodwill, and I was still charged for the dish even though the problem was obvious and acknowledged by the staff. To top it all off, the waitress offered us a digestif, even though we were having lunch with colleagues and had to go back to work afterward. In this kind of situation, a coffee, a discount, or simply not charging for an inedible dish would have been much more appropriate. It's a real shame, because the customer experience was clearly not up to standard.

23/02/2026: Frankly disappointing. We ordered the two recommended dishes, and they were just awful. The sauces were sickeningly sweet. A restaurant like this wouldn't last a week in Paris.

The steak was overcooked, the table service was minimal, and four young women at one table were making more noise than my children and their three friends... It's a shame, as we appreciate the great aspect for children and the overall quality.

28/02/2026: Passing through Mâcon, we arrived at this restaurant for lunch without a reservation. We received a very warm welcome and were kindly offered a table. The service was quick and professional! A varied menu with very reasonable prices pleasantly surprised us. As for the food: the dishes are simple yet flavorful, prepared and presented with care. Regarding the atmosphere (very noisy, but convivial): the large rooms offer ample seating. The restaurant is well worth a detour for a quality meal. Thank you and congratulations to the entire team!

25/02/2026: Valentine's Day dinner menu at €51 per person... little to no privacy as the tables for two were practically touching; some couples ended up at a table for four, sharing it with another couple. The service was very rushed, with some table mix-ups. The meal was good, but we were very disappointed with the lemon dessert, which had no flavor whatsoever—a shame. The wine was served by the glass directly at the table, so we didn't have proof of our order. At €9 a glass, we'd at least like to see the bottle...

03/12/2024: Having come to this restaurant by chance and at the end of our service, we found a warm and professional welcome. Everything is homemade and the menu is small so at the end of the service a dish or two was missing, but that's normal and it's very good like that! Not an extension card. Tasty and simple cuisine. For my part it was Poultry Tournedos and crème brulée. Everything was perfect. Don't hesitate!
