A very warm welcome, the owner and waitress were very pleasant.
The meal was of very high quality with fresh ingredients.
Perfect value for money. I would have given it 6 stars.
As residents of Vonnas, we have had the opportunity to try the former Auberge and the Château d’Epeyssoles, and your restaurant deserves as many stars as these establishments.
I highly recommend it!

The setting is superb, the service was excellent, and every dish was delicious.
Special mention goes to our waiter, Roméo, who was very friendly, smiling, and attentive throughout the meal.
04/09/2026: A lovely establishment, a welcome cool shaded terrace in this heatwave, a delightful start: a fresh and beautifully presented gazpacho, a very tasty and original tomato-based starter, and for the main course, a black cod with curry, executed with mastery. For dessert, a floating island, normally served with strawberries, which I don't like at all, was replaced by a scoop of mint sorbet. Everything was delicious, the service perfect and pleasant. A must-try, and I'll definitely be back.

23/08/2026: We decided to have dinner in Mâcon on our way there, and the name of this restaurant caught our eye. We thought the motto displayed suggested a lovely place. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the warm welcome from the waiter! The dishes were all delicious, but I was particularly won over by the roasted tomato soup with its ricotta cream (and pickled red onions) and the desserts (an exquisite crème brûlée and a delicious buckwheat brownie). The other diners loved the daily special (fried bleak). We also enjoyed the amuse-bouches (lentil hummus with za'atar). The waiters were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. It was perfect! We will gladly return to this restaurant!

An excellent glass of white Macon-Loché wine perfectly complemented this very tasty and generous meal!

The staff is incredibly kind and helpful.
We also appreciated the chef's visits to each table.

04/07/2026: Sonia from Corsica will recognize me. Exceptional place, 5 stars is an understatement! Exceptional cuisine, everything is homemade, the homemade desserts and ice cream are a delight. We are very well received, the croque monsieur is exceptional, the waitresses are very professional and attentive to the customers, they anticipate everything, a real treat! I highly recommend this place. If you are not from the region, get off the highway, you won't regret it. For me, 6 stars! 👍👍👍👍 Thank you Sonia, it's a pleasure to eat at your place every Saturday.

06/08/2026: It's a shame the calzone wasn't made with bread dough. The price was reasonable, and the service was good. The overall presentation could be improved.
11/07/2026: Pizza and fish to forget.
Both dishes had the impression of being frozen, like those from the supermarket, and cooked in the oven (the pizza) or in the microwave (the fish).
The pizza, perfectly round in shape, had a thin, flavorless crust, as did the tomato sauce and cheese, considering they are the main ingredients of pizza.
The fish, grayish on the inside rather than white, was slimy and flavorless, and had the classic consistency of something defrosted in the microwave and then undercooked.
I'm sorry to say it, but this dinner was one of the worst my wife and I have ever had, far from the standards of even "tourist" restaurants, where the quality of the food, as we all know, isn't often the reason people go there.
