(Every year she offers us a weekend in a castle ❤️) We thought we would have a pleasant time in this wonderful setting, but it was quite the opposite. The castle is beautiful but lacks a lot of maintenance, there are no guidelines. The tables from the day before are not cleared (glass, bottle, etc.) Lack of maintenance at the swimming pool (old deckchair without mattress, no towels available) Regarding the cleanliness of the room = everything needs to be reviewed, or even changed certain things (broken lampshade, dirty window that does not close, spider web, etc.) For the evening meal, we are going to have an aperitif at the bar, no one!!!!, the person at reception always with his phone sees us entering the bar (at least I think) but nothing happens. We bother her to get more information about wanting to have a quiet drink before our meal, well that's not possible, you have to go directly to the restaurant. The meal time was pleasant for us unlike those around us. The crowning glory was breakfast. I don't know how much breakfast costs in this castle but we were expecting something fantastic, well no we didn't eat anything because at 9:30 a.m. there was nothing left (no pastries, no bread, no omelette.. .) everything was empty! Leftover ham and cheese. We had a lot of trouble finding a place because no table was cleared, we drank our coffee and ate a madeleine. And that was it! In short, for this type of establishment, please recruit managers with trained staff so that the customer is satisfied. We still thanked our daughter for this gift which must have cost her an arm and a leg but we do not recommend this castle (there are much better ones elsewhere and close to this one).

For couples and children, the dishes are already served with a 15-20 minute delay per person even though the order was taken at the same time. It was a BIG BIG DISAPPOINTMENT for me who chose the grilled chicken, which didn't look like it at all to my great surprise, once the plate was on my table. It was nothing more and nothing less than a bland, colorful chicken leg, cooked in water for some time, and which had been kept in the cold for several times, which completely dried and hardened it. And all of this HEATED of course. As for the accompaniment, the vegetables must have been bathed in their sauce for some time because they were soaked in it to the point of making a puree as soon as you touched it with the fork!!!! REHEATED AGAIN!!! The plate left as it arrived No need to give me your answers on customer satisfaction….. or the pleasure of seeing me again!!!! That won't be my case!!! VERY BAD EXPERIENCE!!!!!

28/09/2024: Meal arrived late, me and my son had already finished our meal while my husband was still waiting for his… he asked for grilled chicken and he got a piece of chicken as hard as a stone which was probably from 3 days before… not even grilled, colored with coloring, tasteless side dish, vegetables drowned in their juice for x amount of time. For good eaters, follow your path otherwise you will be disappointed...
