In terms of atmosphere, we especially love that as a former Lyon resident I had the impression of being plunged back into the atmosphere of a traffic jam. On the plate side it was a success and the rum baba effectively closed this lunch break. Thank you also for quickly putting us in the mood with your warm welcome.

We only discovered this upon arrival in Chambéry. Despite attempting to rent a car and exploring flight options, we found ourselves stranded in Chambéry on a Saturday morning with limited breakfast choices. In our search for car rentals and a mood-lifting breakfast, we stumbled upon a quaint little restaurant. The owner, sensing our despair, promptly brought us water and bread as we used the menu. Despite the language barrier—us not speaking French and the owner not speaking English—we conveyed our hunger and willingness to try anything he recommended. Ten minutes later, he presented us with a delicious meat and cheese spread accompanied by fresh vegetables and bread, a dish not even listed on the menu. Touched by his kindness, hospitality, and genuine compassion (despite our communication struggles), we left the establishment with full hearts and bellies. What began as a disappointing situation turned into a heartwarming experience. Finally, after a long day of travel, we reached Milan. Thank you so much! 04/04/2024: 🫠 this is one of the best restaurants in Chambery, if not the best. The location is superb with ample outdoor seating on a quiet street where you sit far away from the road. The menu routinely changes and always offers delicious dishes. Food always comes out perfectly cooked and hot. Servers are always quick and polite. Just consistently really really good with an amazing atmosphere. I even came here with our 1 year old and they were more than accommodating with a stroller despite it being a busy lunch rush. 5/5

31/03/2024: Everything was perfect from A to Z! When booking we asked if we could come with our doggie and that was no problem (for us, doggie lovers, that's a big plus!!) Warm welcome, impeccable service, very considerate and relaxed . Cool and not noisy atmosphere (yet a full Saturday evening!). The meal was truly delicious (traditional menu): perfect cooking, tasty and beautifully presented dishes. This is the third time we have come to dine at this restaurant. This time we had a gift voucher that we had been given at Christmas. The person came to tell us during the meal that we still had room to spare compared to the price of the gift and not to hesitate to order hot drinks at the end of the meal, for example. We found this very honest. In short, we will come back with great pleasure to spend a good evening at the Savoyard! The Savoyards

29/03/2024: Lovely restaurant tucked away down a side alley by Hotel du Ville, easy for the kids and informal but great food if crepes is your thjng. We all enjoyed ours! We were 3 kids and 2 adults - every crepe cld be a half portion and the staff were really helpful. Particular thanks to Lauren! We wld return.

20/03/2024: The plus of this very good creperie: the custom crepe, that is to say the possibility of having the ingredients of your choice in a crepe. Otherwise the ones proposed are excellent.
