21/11/2023: The plus points: superb location (especially in good weather on the terrace), warm atmosphere and welcome, simple, traditional but good cuisine (except the homemade dessert: the praline cake is filling). Cons: disappointment when we arrived regarding the prices! Finished the full menu for 2022 at €32. With the change of ownership, prices have soared. The dishes (as is often the case now) flirt with €30! €27 for a plate of pot au feu, €28 for osso-buco, it’s still very expensive. In short, to compose a starter, main course and dessert menu the bill comes to around €45/person without drinks. In the countryside and with simple cuisine, this becomes excessive for us. Mixed feeling therefore in the end; not sure we'll come back. It is kind of a shame

02/04/2024: After the hike 🚶, we enter this establishment. 14 people preferably wishing to sit at a large table.
In no time and the small juxtaposed tables welcome us comfortably.
Excellent, efficient service and we enjoy a comforting break before returning to our hilltop villages in the canton of Fayence.
15/03/2024: Passing through Collobrière, the Bar Restaurant de la Mairie is a must, for a coffee, aperitif or lunch. Pleasant and professional welcome. Good value for money.

22/10/2023: Chestnut Festival 3:30 p.m. with my mother and my 10 year old daughter, we ask if it is possible to sit down for a drink, no problem a waiter directs us to a table:
The boss shows up and tells us that he's making food here, confused, we say we think we could have a beer, and then the boss shows the end of pancake that my daughter had in her hand and refuses us service! Amazing! I would like to point out that I am a professional and in an even more touristy place, I have never sent my clients like this! An air of nothing.... an air of c....
02/10/2023: So what makes me laugh is all the negative comments that little people have left... traveling friends, epicurean friends, believe me this place is a real sanctuary of real gastronomy and good taste as it is. exists in our wonderful country of France...
The bosses work with the locals and the products are made on request directly. No frozen foods... only fresh and good local products.
In short, all the stars. Go eat at Mc.... and you will be served.
You will have understood, we had a great time and above all we had a superb moment of exchange and sympathy with the boss...
