08/11/2025: A message to the management of this establishment, the "JR" of Poitiers nightlife, Lacroix Jerome by his real name: when you organize a 100% girls' night and reservations are required, it would be nice to respond to the messages we send. And especially, when the event is canceled, it would be just as important to let people know! My friends and I arrive at La Tomate Blanche and it's closed! Your competitors are having a 100% girls' night next week; we'll spend our money there from now on. Of course, I don't expect any response from you since you can't even be bothered to inform your customers that the event is canceled.

23/12/2025: It's a shame we can't eat in after 2 pm. Only takeout is available.
Thankfully, all the other restaurants nearby are open.

30/08/2025: I called at 9:30 p.m. to have a pizza delivered, they made me wait 25 minutes on the phone, they hung up, I called back, they didn't answer, I insisted and they finally answered... Hallelujah, except that they can't deliver to me anymore, great.... Luckily Dominos still delivers!
17/08/2025: Disappointed. This is our usual takeout pizza supplier, living in the neighborhood, and this one was really not great. We ordered a Savoyard pizza, the crème fraîche of which made our mouths water! In the end, the pizza was very dry and filling. Too bad...

27/01/2026: I'm allergic to several ingredients in the sauce served with the hamburger. This isn't the first time I've tried contacting the company to change my order, and no one is responding.
It's irresponsible of you not to meet customer demands, and to make matters worse, Deliveroo, which should be helping in these situations, isn't doing anything either.
26/01/2026: Well, it's a McDonald's, it's mean, but there's this guy with dark hair around 9 pm on a Monday, he's really good, he deserves his bonus, I tell you.

My brother in law ordered vegetarian meal, to end up waiting 40 mins for food, and for him to get a chicken and bacon wrap, I tried to get him to go up and complain, but he didn't hence why am leaving this, service was shocking only caring abt online delivery's

26/09/2024: Cosy restaurant in the city centre.The have a 3 course menu plus a few dishes a la carte. We chose the menu, the starters were good, the main dishes not so much, and the desserts were just ok but it makes the deal if one is around.

17/08/2024: What a disappointment!
Passing through Poitiers, the well-known brand and the name of P Etchebest attracts us to the terrace.
The waitress is pleasant but that won't be enough:
- no side of beef in this restaurant, even though it is the brand's flagship product, because the Management no longer makes it (probably not enough throughput...)
- we opt for burger, beef and salmon tartare: these 3 dishes arrive so sadly placed in the center of a plate without any decoration (we taste first by the visual: failure!).
- the steak of the requested blue burger is served cooked through: this is the case for all ground steaks (probably frozen, or of mediocre quality?)
- the beef tartare is of no particular interest, the salmon tartare is seasoned with a very mustardy sauce: no more salmon taste…
In short, disappointed
We won't go back
06/08/2024: Excellent. Simple and excellent cuisine. Delicious salmon escalope. Children's dishes: Small, excellent pre-cut piece of beef. It's a change from the eternal nuggets that we can no longer eat. Super friendly staff. Very pleasant setting. In short, we had a great time

01/09/2024: As a celiac, being gluten free is not an option, it is crucial to my health and well-being.
I specifically stated that I can only have gluten free food in French and the waiter suggested a salad. I couldn't believe my eyes when the recommended goats cheese salad arrived with the cheese coated in bread crumbs and deep fried in gluten contaminated oil!! The lettuce in the salad was passed it's best in any case.
I ordered a duck dish which was reheated from frozen and looked anaemic at best.
Really disappointing as the venue is awesome! What a missed opportunity
