27/08/2026: Lovely setting on the banks of the Clain. We were greeted and seen off by an unpleasant manager; luckily, the young waitress was very friendly. The salad was poorly washed and lacked dressing. Despite a good previous experience, this time we should have stayed home!

A small suggestion: Would it be possible to try some new vegetables for your quiches (pumpkin, parsnip, cauliflower, eggplant, artichoke, fennel, endive, turnip, asparagus, olive, etc.)? 16/08/2026: We arrived half an hour before the official opening (8:00 AM, it was Sunday). The cashier opened the shop well before 8:00 AM, which allowed us to prepay for the LPG. We had access to a bucket of clean water to wash the windshield. The icing on the cake was that the cashier (Valentin) was incredibly friendly, smiling, helpful, pleasant, and professional. Thank you to him! The prices for gasoline, diesel, and LPG (€0.979) were reasonable. The service station was clean and well-equipped, and in the shop, all the items were impeccably displayed.

27/08/2026: What a pleasant surprise! A very friendly welcome, not to mention the service, a nice buffet, an interesting selection of dishes, and a bar/brasserie atmosphere, but more intimate. A highly recommended address if, like us, you're looking for a pleasant place to eat (and we didn't even see the terrace) during a road trip.

14/08/2026: CLOSED UNTIL August 24th. Is it really that hard to update your holiday hours?! It's a shame, your menu looked good. If it even exists, since there's no photo or website, that's why we went there in person, and I'm quite annoyed to find it closed for another 10 days!

29/08/2026: The only Domino's in Poitiers that delivers near my home… Order placed at 8:10 PM, delivered at 10:00 PM. The pizza was cold. I called at 8:50 PM and they estimated 30 minutes… pizza arrived 1 hour and 10 minutes later. According to Domino's France terms and conditions, and I quote: “The store is committed to respecting the stated delivery times. However, if your delivery or the preparation of your pizza is delayed by more than 30 minutes (compared to the stated delivery time, the delivery time, or the availability time), please contact the store.” No compensation whatsoever, NOTHING. This deserves 0 stars.

27/08/2026: We will order pizzas when you provide your delivery drivers (who are working hard to deliver perfectly, well done by the way 👍) with working payment terminals.

29/08/2026: One star because zero is not an option. I don't know where to begin. The veranda and tables weren't cleaned, and the "Chicago" sandwich of the day was only available with two meats and spicy. To make a two-meat sandwich as advertised, you need two meats, so why can't you order a one-meat sandwich? Oh, and the price... And let's not even talk about the undercooked, oil-soaked nuggets. A complete disaster...

14/08/2026: You order a €15 dish and you don't even get a little rice to go with it!!! And when I call them, they tell me, "We have to make a living!" €15 for a dish with three tiny pieces of meat chasing each other, and they tell me, "We have to make a living," as if a little rice is going to kill their profit margin! Unbelievable!

07/09/2026: A Poitiers institution! I've been coming here for over 20 years. The pizzas are recognizable by their crispy crust, and the toppings are just right with good ingredients. I highly recommend it! 🥰

31/08/2026: I've never eaten better pizzas than those at La Royale. I used to go there with my dad when I was little, and now, whenever I'm in the area, I get takeout. My recommendations: the Montagnarde, the Alaska, the Classique, and the Tex Mex. Always a friendly staff! 👍👍

29/07/2026: We had a kebab and a taco. A few hours later, my friend and I both developed stomach pains. The result was food poisoning, vomiting, and gastric problems. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

26/08/2026: A very large restaurant with excellent food. It's very spacious and feels pleasantly airy. The staff is very friendly. The only downside is the price of dinner, weekends, and holidays, which we found a bit high. But weekday lunches are very affordable. In short, I'd gladly go back, but for lunch...😉
