16/02/2024: Being of Ivorian origin, it was a real pleasure and joy to dine two days in a row in this restaurant located in the 18th arrondissement. We tasted good “placali”, Attieke, alloco, “lamb choukouya” and “gnamankoudji” 😋. The dishes were delicious and the portions correct. A warm atmosphere with Mr. Solo (a very nice old môgô) who gave us an Ivorian welcome (hospitable people), so much so that my friends and I had the feeling of being in our own beautiful Abidjan. I give a little wink to our aunt who captured the Dioula and Agni well 😅. Take care of yourself, stay as natural as you are and may success always be with you... for the pleasure and satisfaction of your customers. I recommend it if you want to eat Ivorian specialties in a small, friendly and welcoming place. D.Y.

19/01/2024: Restaurant not far from the hotel, discovered by chance. The welcome was a little cold at first but was very friendly and kind as the meal progressed. Very considerate with our child. The couscous was very good. People who say the quantities were right, did you come to eat with a Dobberman? We are big eaters and frankly with what was left in the dishes we could have fed one more person!! In short, it was a good experience.

31/01/2024: It's been a long time since I've been to this restaurant. But each time, no surprises. It's a safe bet. All the dishes are good from ndolé to soy, including Koki and its fish. And the hostess is always very friendly.

02/04/2024: So what can we say about this restaurant? The couscous is good with tender meat. The welcome is normal, nothing more, with a pleasant person providing service. The setting is friendly. That's the positive side. On the negative side, I would say that I don't understand why notes are not given at the table. You have to go to the cash register to pay and no note with details is offered. In addition, the discount granted by the fork is not applied and this is the first time that I have noticed such facts in a restaurant. So of course, I will get over it without any problem but it indicates a not very correct state of mind. Personally, I won't go back and I won't recommend it. Other brands are also good for a more professional service.

Totally disappointed with this experience... the Manager extremely dishonest, disrespectful and totally and rude..... she did not respect the conditions of the fork -50% promotion and shouted at us to pay. Dishonest manager and can do anything for every penny she can earn more... My experience is not isolated as several people have had the same thing. I do NOT recommend this restaurant

01/04/2024: Absolutely adorable place with a very warm atsmophere. The madame serving does not know English very well but tries her best to communicate - and other customers also help out. The food was terrific and came in sizable portions. The hostess also offered us some great drinks. In summary a warm place with nice music, food and service.

31/03/2024: I do not recommend eating Thiéboudiène coming from the kitchen of this restaurant. Recently I ordered Thiéboudiène (Senegalese fish rice) to take away and I was so disappointed that I threw it all in the trash. The rice is bland and sometimes crunchy and almost black in color. I think it’s rice that isn’t even from the day before the day I ordered it. The fish and vegetables are brown as if they had been soaking for days in the accompanying almost blackish sauce.

04/02/2024: Mixed meal, it wasn't bad but we didn't feel well treated, food without sauce which we asked for but didn't receive. We arrived quite late but if that is not possible we prefer a refusal of service rather than quite cold treatment.

06/04/2024: Here is my assessment of my time with my family in this restaurant. Strong points : - Copious and tasty dishes: I ate really well, since the time I had planned to go there during a visit to Paris. - Beautiful setting, well located. Areas for improvement : - The (non-)reservation system: arrived at 4 without reservation as they allow and above all, as mentioned on their site, we were made to wait outside under the pretext that people who had reserved were due to arrive - without knowing their arriving time. We were brought in, taking care to tell us that if those who had reserved arrived, we would have to hurry to make room for them. Perhaps we should think about systematically taking reservations to optimize services. - The nonchalance of the waitresses: it doesn't look very professional to drag your feet, take an order n times without taking notes and without ever bringing back the requested drink. Maybe the day was complicated...

05/04/2024: We have already come 4 times because we live more than an hour's drive from here, a very good African atmosphere, copious and excellent meals! I recommend 100%! The taste and aromas are present, for me the best African restaurant in the region!
