24/03/2024: I have been there several times. The atmosphere of the restaurant is rather cozy, and in terms of decor and cleanliness, from what we can see, nothing to say. The owner of the restaurant is friendly and welcoming, attentive to customers. But in his absence, at least for the time that I can testify, the difference in service is felt (A cook was also in charge of the service and we could see that he was more at ease in the kitchen than in the dining room 😅 Service being a profession in its own right, I don't hold it too harsh 🙂) Speaking of the appearance of the dishes, rather generous quantities, fresh products, fish in particular, and appetizing presentation. Good point! When it comes to seasonings, cooks tend to be heavy-handed with flavor enhancers (Maggi Flavor it seemed to me) added just before serving. The smell and true taste of the dishes are completely hidden. This greatly affects the quality/price ratio. It's a shame, because we could do without it, given that the original processing of the food (fish/chicken marinade) seems to be qualitative and already quite salty. I would suggest focusing more on the marinade and leaving it up to the customer to add salt/pepper as they wish. Ah! another small point, relating to the allowance. More customers than we think prefer alloco made from ripe bananas (neither too ripe as we often see, nor not enough). Think about it...🙂 A little tip for future customers, do not hesitate to specify if possible when booking what you plan to order, to guarantee product availability as much as possible 😉 I will come back to see if opinions are taken into account :)

22/03/2024: A very nice discovery! We were a group of 6 people and all shared the same opinion. Excellent cuisine, generous portions, very good service, great atmosphere and Ketty Sina, the owner of the restaurant, and a former Claudette, is very friendly.

09/03/2024: I was told that it was the best cuckoo clock in Paris; I crossed the city to eat there and was happy to taste a generous Moroccan coucous like in the old days. We arrived at midday to an empty restaurant and received a welcome that I would describe as indifferent. Not a big deal because we didn’t come for salamalecs, but all the same, a minimum… As for the food: mmmyeah…. It was good but nothing exceptional. Not very filling either. Finally, €5 for an extra bowl of semolina seems very excessive to me. Only the cakes turned out excellent. The restaurant works a lot with people from the neighborhood and regulars, a sort of community... I don't think I'll go back there.

04/03/2024: I really like going to the honey hive for their tagines, especially the lamb with prunes and the chicken pear 🥰 Fair prices and good quality, I recommend this restaurant.

06/02/2024: It was an unfamiliar food, but thanks to the friendly and cheerful staff, I was able to enjoy my time without difficulty! It was the best lamb I've ever had. It wasn't fishy at all. I adjusted the seasoning by adding a lot of vegetables and a little bit of broth to the couscous, so it wasn't too salty and tasted good.

11/02/2024: Discovered randomly. Excellent cuisine, we have never had spring rolls this good. Homemade cooking, a boss who listens, we feel the pleasure he has in showing us his cuisine. He takes the time with each of his clients. We had the pleasure of chatting with him at the end of the service. He made us want to go and discover his country. Excellent value

03/04/2024: Cozy, nice atmosphere, practically furnished room, comfortable bed, delicious breakfast with individual service. On public holidays the metro station in front of the door was helpful; on weekdays the location is perfect for people who are easy to walk and like to go to. B. might like to hike through the Latin Quarter and the Jardin du Luxembourg to the île de la Cité. Or you can use the bus connections, stop in front of the door. Approximately 15 minutes walk to Gare du Montparnasse.

01/04/2024: The couscous is good unfortunately the welcome from Madame leaves something to be desired, Madame the boss, yes, don't just talk about money when you want an extra, Madame, we know very well that it costs money and don't make the customers leave at the door. addition when it is paid it is not done in a restaurant. I know of another restaurant at the same price where the welcome is better and the portions are more generous. And tea is offered. It's not correct at all, I won't come to your place anymore, sorry, although I know your restaurant, you shouldn't see customers like pigeons. And your sodas in cans are not at this price, they are in bottles normally I don't come back to your place and what's more I think your smile is not sincere I am not a tourist ma'am learn not to talk about money a customer at a meal

30/03/2024: In this ultra-touristy area where restaurants abound, it is sometimes difficult to make a choice. Guided by a tout on the steps of the establishment, we let ourselves be tempted. That's good, we're hungry, it's 2 p.m. and the restaurant provides continuous service! A pleasant restaurant, quiet at this time. Smiling welcome. we quickly take our order. The egg brick is generous (a change from the mini-things served elsewhere). The merguez-skewer couscous that follows is excellent. Semolina, meats and vegetables served separately. Cinnamon oranges for dessert refresh the whole thing. Note to the cook: the scoop of ice cream with the oranges is unnecessary. In summary: a good establishment which manages to maintain quality cuisine and service. To recommend.
