17/06/2025: From dish to dish, and from surprise to surprise. A cold Maroilles tart with bacon meringue and fried onions. The Fête de la Musique invited itself into all my taste buds, and it was a true festival. The bar that followed was divinely succulent, enhanced by a trail of vegetables carefully planted and harvested by a very pleasant team, both in the dining room and in the kitchen. And to finish, a gourmet coffee that deserves to be among the most beautiful monuments in France. Thank you for this magnificent discovery.

27/06/2025: We'd already eaten at Chez Jeannot and decided to hire them as our caterer for our wedding! Simply perfect! A top-notch team: friendly, welcoming, and efficient! Everyone ate hot and at the same time (there were about 70 of us)! Thank you for this wonderful experience!

23/06/2025: We got married on June 21st and we used them for the catering. From the reception to the meal, it was excellent! Our guests were won over. The taste, the composition of the dishes, the quantity... everything was perfect! We had Jérôme as our maître d'hôtel; he is incredibly kind and professional. We had an exceptional wedding, in part thanks to them, who managed our evening without a single interruption! You can trust them with your evening; Jérôme and his team will make it sublime! I recommend them 200%.

17/12/2024: I went there twice. The 2nd time the chicken thighs were not cooked rare and all pink. Yuck. I haven't eaten there since. Impossible to go back. It disgusts me just thinking about it.

12/12/2024: Once again, it's not the first, ordered takeaway, once you arrive, you realize that you paid for an XL menu and you end up with a normal... the service time at the drive, a disaster...

12/09/2024: Discovered by chance, and following Google reviews. What can I say, magnificent...I loved it. The setting of the restaurant is very nice and warm. Smiling welcome, professional and impeccable service from the manager. Everything was delicious for the meal, look at the photos, there is nothing to add. PS: I didn't stay at the hotel.

07/12/2025: We had a wonderful stay at L’Inattendu in Chauny. The hotel is fantastic: the rooms are very comfortable, the beds particularly cozy, and the bathrooms truly lovely. The place has a lot of charm; you immediately feel at home. A huge thank you to the owners, who are absolutely delightful and incredibly attentive. Their warm welcome makes all the difference. I highly recommend this place and will gladly return!
