11/11/2024: A perfect welcome, homemade food worthy of the great starred chefs. I HIGHLY recommend this establishment. Bravo to their professionalism and kindness.

-I wanted something simple and tasty for lunch and was more or less thrown into this restaurant (Au Riche-Lieu) in the narrow alley.
The staff were quick in their turnarounds and arranged a table for me at the small outdoor restaurant.
-Ordered a fish soup which seemed to be served in a reasonable amount (5-6 dl). And with some accessories like toasted bread, grated cheese and aioli.
Ate the fish soup in several places, but here at Au Riche-Lieu, they were the ones who succeeded best in toasting the bread so that it was crispy and tasty. The other restaurants burned too much so that the bread became harder than Swedish crusts.
-So that puts the restaurant at the top of my list of places to eat in Cannes.

27/11/2024: la marmite du pêcheur copieuse avec le dessert à 19€ nous a bien régalé... et le petit verre de vin de pêche maison avec l'addition est un petit geste bien apprécié car maintenant rarissime !
29/10/2024: Ce restaurant est situé dans une petite rue du centre ville. Le décor est très simple. Les plats sont bons mais pas extraordinaires. Le service est sympathique et les tarifs corrects pour Cannes. Attention : si vous prenez des scampis (langoustines en Italien et en Anglais), on vous servira de simples crevettes.

02/05/2024: I'm so sad that my favorite sushi restaurant has become one of my biggest disappointments.
To start, the portions of salmon in the sushi have been reduced. Conclusion we only eat rice and cream cheese (California smoked salmon, chesse and pink tataki)
Secondly, the “new” store manager is unprofessional, she shouts at ALL the employees in front of customers constantly.
And to finish, I highly recommend the Asia Keo in Mougins which does justice to the brand and where you will taste sushi like those from Asiakeo in Cannes a few months or even years ago.

The place is located on La Croisette, its only asset
To avoid, there are other nicer places in Cannes

20/08/2024: We ordered 3 pizzas, the delivery man arrived with only 2 even though we had already waited 45 minutes. After having the manager on the phone and asking for a commercial gesture for the missing pizza, it was a categorical refusal on his part. The service was pitiful and the pizzas arrived cold and therefore disgusting.

A salesman, if that is the qualification of the profession, who in a few minutes forgets that my partner is trying on jeans and asks me what I am looking for even though I had spoken to him just before but in addition with a lousy argument and a very low level! Review your recruitment.
26/07/2024: I have rarely seen such lousy sellers! At the entrance, the two are talking at the checkout, after a very brief glance at us, they talk again, without even a hello! I am looking for jeans alone, someone comes to us even 10 minutes later to ask us if we want help, even though I had the jeans in my hands and was entering the fitting room. At the checkout, still no hello from the lady, I'm not even talking about the annoyed look she had. Not a word, I paid and left without a goodbye.

We ask for a coke, no coke, a mint ice cream, there is no
One beer, the device is broken
So we serve you a 33cl bottle of beer at €10 per bottle.
The cuisine is the same as in a low-end brasserie with the only difference being that you would not pay the same price.
The place may be nice
That doesn't justify everything...
conclusion take your picnic if you go to Marguerite Island.
06/08/2024: we waited 10 minutes for someone to serve us. the waiters walked past us and didn't even notice us. in the end we got up and left. The only nice thing is the sea view.
