07/09/2024: Toujours parfait, sauf les toilettes qui ne sont pas entretenue , pas de papier, savon dilué et cuvette sale....
Déjà signalé il y a presque un an et sans changement.
Dommage que la direction ne fasse oas son travail.

Good morning,
I am writing to tell you about my first visit to your establishment, which unfortunately went very badly.
Around 3:30 a.m., after informing my husband and friends that I was going out to order an Uber, I went out alone because I was feeling oppressed and had a headache. Once outside, I sat for a few minutes on the small step to the right of the entrance, also suffering from pain in my feet. I point out that I was calm and alone, using my phone.
It was at that moment that one of your security agents, a tall man of strong build, with a ponytail, of North African origin, called out to me from afar, shouting: “Hey you, There, get up! Hello?!” Thinking he was talking to someone else, I didn't react immediately.
He then raised his voice even more by saying: "Hey you, don't you understand when we're talking to you? Get up, I tell you!"
When I looked up to check if he was speaking to me, he continued to speak loudly to me, without making the effort to get closer, as if he was deliberately trying to "show off" in front of everyone. the world, making the situation even more humiliating.
At that point, two other customers, shocked by his behavior, intervened to point out that he had crossed the line by speaking to me like that.
These people were obviously as outraged as I was by the way your agent treated me.
Despite this intervention, your agent continued to speak to me aggressively, look at me with extreme meanness, and verbally intimidate me. His attitude was not only disrespectful, but also completely unjustified.
I understand that your agent was doing his job and that certain rules must be respected, such as not sitting in that place. However, there are ways to speak to customers, and respect is essential. If your agent had just asked me nicely to stand up, I would have apologized and complied without a problem.
This situation almost escalated into a fight, purely because of the provocative behavior of your own agent!
As customers who have spent a considerable amount of money in your establishment (we were three couples, and we consumed at the bar), this experience is all the more frustrating. We certainly did not expect to be treated with such little consideration.
I am convinced that this agent would not have spoken to me like this if it were a man or a person of another origin. His behavior was not only inappropriate, but also disrespectful, condescending and deeply macho. He took me for someone drunk or malicious, which was absolutely not the case.
Please note that I work 60 hours a week. I don't come to your establishment to "beg" or wait to be offered drinks like the majority of your customers do.
I come to relax, not to be mistreated by your "security" personnel.
I would still like to point out that your servers were very respectful, professional, attentive and present throughout the evening.
We were shocked, disappointed and frustrated with how our evening ended.
Unfortunately, the attitude of your "security" agent reflects a serious misunderstanding of the principles of respect and professionalism that such a position requires.
I invite you to view the video surveillance recordings, in order to see the situation for yourself.
I would like to obtain his first and last name so that I can take appropriate action and consider filing a complaint against him for his unacceptable behavior.
Pending your return, I thank you in advance for your attention to my complaint and I hope that measures will be taken to prevent this from happening again.

22/09/2024: Apart from the frontage which is pretty otherwise rated for nothing. We are made to wait for hours so that in the end we enter a pseudo 100 m2 box where everyone is crammed together. The music is more than deplorable, dancers who haven't even worked on a choreography. The prices are exorbitant compared to the quality of service. Fortunately, Parisian evenings are there because what a disappointment.
We were solicited in the streets of Cannes by a pseudo promoter who promised drinks and a table with hip hop rnb music when everything was false. Electro galore

20/08/2024: Since the manager changed it's better before we enter the shop it smokes it smokes outside and said wait I'm coming the smile was an option I think there is a lack of staff too but overall not disappointed

01/09/2024: Nous n’avions pas réservé , on nous propose de nous installer au bar le temps qu’une table se libère . Nous avons été servis et installés au bar avec attention . Il faisait chaud on m’a gentiment proposé un éventail et nous sommes passés à table assez rapidement . La carte n’est pas très importante mais appétissante.. Le cadre est top, l’ambiance est top et nous avons très bien mangé . Les prix sont élevés mais nous y retournerons occasionnellement .

20/08/2024: We had 4 courses - the food was good albeit the bread is not the best. We asked for a wine menu as the menu we were given was it only by the glass I asked if we could order a bottle the waitress who spoke very good English said she would have to check and came back and stated they only serve by the glass so I ordered 3 glasses (which were very small) which cost 24 euros and my partner had 2 beers at 18 euros. At the end of the meal I looked around and noticed that 3 tables all had bottles of wine - they were all French, I called the waitress over and ask why we were not able to order a bottle of wine etc and she said sorry I don’t speak good English I didn’t understand which was totally in correct - please note they do do bottles even though they refuse to give you a menu
04/08/2024: Superbe endroit pour déguster des plats variés la planche de charcuterie était excellente et la sélection des vins est impressionnante même dans les palaces cannois la sélection n'est pas autant varié pour les vins. Le serveur en salle etait top ! Nous reviendrons à l'occasion

13/07/2024: Tout est au top, de l’accueil au service! Le repas était excellent, le personnel, le service parfait. Nous avons passés un bon moment, et nous hésiterons pas à revenir. Je recommande à 1000%
12/07/2024: We wanted to try the Riviera restaurant in the recently renovated Hotel Carlton, for our wedding anniversary. What a very frustrating disappointment from start to finish!
We knew it would be extremely expensive, but would not have minded at all and would have been quite happy to pay if the evening/food had been enjoyable. Far from it.
Having been shown to our table on the terrace and given menus, we were thereafter totally ignored by all waiters. In the end I had to ask for the cocktail list, as we had been looking forward to a cocktail apéritif. No-one came to take the order until I finally managed to catch someone’s attention.
Exactly the same thing to order the food and wine - I had to finally beckon someone. All this did nothing to make for a relaxing evening!
My husband’s choice of main course (lamb) was not available, neither was his second choice (pork).
After at least 20 minutes the cocktails arrived, and a couple of minutes later the starters, leaving no time to enjoy the cocktail… So the starters had to be sent back, one of them to be kept warm.
The veal, which my husband was almost obliged to have, was badly sliced by a very pleasant waitress, but who was self-admittedly ‘new’ - as several other young waiters seemed to be. When one is paying those prices, totally professional service is expected, i.e. NOT from trainees or stagiaires!
The girl slicing the veal was actually at a disadvantage because by that time it was dark and there was very little light on the tables. A huge slice of fat was on the plate - and the veal was definitely not rosé.
A very good chocolate desert.
And 2 coffees at 15€ each….! How dare they??!! That was definitely an UNexpected price. It’s almost laughable..

16/09/2024: We stayed two nights at this hotel in August. Upon arrival, we noticed our room’s air conditioner was not functional. We spoke to reception and they came to check and confirmed it was on. We left for a couple of hours, leaving the air conditioner on full fan, hoping to cool the room. On our return, the room was even warmer so we asked to be moved to another room.
The room we were moved to was a staff space and had no light, an unclean bathroom, a mouldy smell and holes in the plaster on the walls. But it did have a working air conditioner and by this time of afternoon, we were not able to find an affordable alternative hotel so we agreed to stay. We were told by the reception staff that we would discuss a refund in the morning with the manager.
The next day when we asked to speak to the manager, we were told she had left for the day. We asked the receptionist to please call her to confirm our refund. Over the phone, she confirmed that we would be reimbursed for our stay the following day.
As we went to check out the following morning, we were told that the manager doesn’t work on Mondays and as we had a plane to catch, we had to take the receptionists word that it would be sorted on Tuesday.
It has now been three weeks and we have sent a dozen emails which go unanswered. The few times we have been able to have a phone call answered, we face the same excuse of the manager not being there.
I am imploring the manager to please get in contact with me about this issue.
In the meantime, if you’re considering staying here - I’d choose somewhere else.
12/09/2024: The setting is the strong point, very flowery, a beautiful lawn, magnificent trees, on the heights of Cannes. Very pretty building, very nice location. Comfortable swimming pool area out of sight. Absolute calm. What a disappointment regarding the room (considering the asking price!). Although nicely decorated, the model is strewn with a multitude of stains of all kinds, including very questionable splashes on the drapes. The insulation of the rooms also needs to be reviewed. The staff are really lovely, especially the 2 young women at reception. The bathroom cleaning is impeccable.

02/05/2024: I'm so sad that my favorite sushi restaurant has become one of my biggest disappointments.
To start, the portions of salmon in the sushi have been reduced. Conclusion we only eat rice and cream cheese (California smoked salmon, chesse and pink tataki)
Secondly, the “new” store manager is unprofessional, she shouts at ALL the employees in front of customers constantly.
And to finish, I highly recommend the Asia Keo in Mougins which does justice to the brand and where you will taste sushi like those from Asiakeo in Cannes a few months or even years ago.
