19/09/2024: **Rating: ★★★☆☆** I recently stayed at the Best Western in Menton and found it to be a mixed experience. The hotel itself is well-located, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, but the biggest downside was the sound insulation. The ventilation system was quite loud, and I could clearly hear trucks and motorbikes passing by early in the morning, which disrupted my sleep. If you're a light sleeper or value quietness, this could be an issue. Otherwise, it's a decent option for a short stay in Menton.

15/01/2025: Roots Menu A lovely evening because we came for my birthday but we were very disappointed with the flavors and the finesse of the dishes... Aside from the appetizers starter which was fantastic both visually and taste-wise, a lot of creativity and research, very well presented. The starter was very good. These are indeed excellent products but at the price of the Menu, €450 is not enough... Not enough originality and finesse on the main dishes, fish and pigeon No discovery apart from the beet which was planted a second time... The trofiés are well presented, but also not incredible in the mouth... The cake was really not edible, the quality of the vanilla was exceptional, however such a heavy dessert, full of cream, too fatty, no finesse and delicacy... A shame for a 3 Star... In addition, a garlic dessert is quite unusual...and not to our taste. The potato and cocoa dessert was excellent in its originality. The sweet treats in terms of dessert, it's all in the visual but not in the finesse...the carrot trompe l'oeil madelaine had a poor texture... I love madeleines... The granita has no interest... Lots of crushed ice with a fennel flavor... And then? Fortunately we had a delicious time thanks to the staff, it was still good... But not at the level of the stars and the price... We will unfortunately not come back..... And we will not recommend it to our friends either... Excellent service... Fortunately, because we were the only ones in the restaurant. Then another couple arrived much later.

But what a disappointment... out of 3 orders in total not a single one correct, I order chicken tikka, I got crispy, I order without cheese, I have some, One time I got fries in the wrap, the other time no, For the cheese, this was announced when ordering "ah without the cheese it's not safe", so we were unfortunately expecting it... I think the organization seriously needs to be reviewed... We are told a 35 minute wait, then 50 after 5 minutes, ending with 1 hour 15 minutes. If only this was done with sympathy... we felt too much when ordering, and very uncomfortable... Sorry.. but I hope this will be constructive because it's basically a restaurant where I loved to eat, but today I won't go back there anymore..

13/08/2024: Usually on site with a super long service but very good food. We wanted to order with a delivery time of 1 hour, 1 hour and a half later we called to ask where it was and the order finally arrived with a 2 hour delay. Don't push grandma into the nettles. It’s with this kind of thing that we lose customers.

02/09/2024: We have visited this restaurant on a regular basis over a long period of time, and always been happy with our meal. Good location, nice fish, friendly and good service. My only wish would be for a slightly more extensive, and more interesting wine list, in additon to the good value selection now on the menu.
