16/11/2024: Restaurant de couscous sans intérêt. La semoule n'est pas très bonne, les portions de viande sont petites et l'accueil n'est pas des plus chaleureux. Nous avons plus eu la sensation d'être dans la cantine d'une maison de retraite que dans un véritable restaurant.
L'endroit (comme les plats) est terne et sans saveur.
16/10/2024: Nous sommes toujours bien accueillis et bien servis . Le couscous est goûteux, copieux, c’est toujours un plaisir de partager un moment entre amis chez Dounia

05/09/2024: I adore !!!! Very fresh! A little wait when you come to get takeaway is the only complaint because it's difficult to park but the quality of the sushi is really much better than the other sushi chains we come across! I recommend

Le personnel est accueillant
Après le choix de votre met, celui-ci est préparée dans la cuisine
Je retrouve le goût et la saveur d’une cuisine asiatique comme la faisait mes parents et grand-parents
Si je devais formuler une critique, celle-ci serait la suivante : préparer du nuoc mam avec du piment frais

Surtout on doit attendre 25 minutes pour pouvoir commander un café

Gratin dauphinois which gives the impression of a Metro dish and without taste
Lamb chops ditto without taste,
Makes you wonder how the cook cooks (in the microwave!!!)
03/01/2025: Nice place, nice service… but… tasteless food…
We took a fisherman's pot (2 mussels, 1 scallop and 2 very small pieces of fish) without flavor and light portion. The fish soup base and rust were okay.
And a dish of lamb chops and dauphinois gratin: flavorless meat and neither tasty nor creamy gratin resembling a Metro dish…
25cl pitcher of chardonnay which doesn't look like chardonnay.
2 decent coffees with very good little bugne.
Addition 65€.
We preferred to have dessert elsewhere. We were disappointed.

20/05/2024: It was with Bagelstein that I really discovered bagels a few years ago and it quickly became one of our favorite canteens. The bagels are made to order (some are already ready in the window) and the service is generally quick. The bagel not to be missed is the Christmas one! The recipes change from year to year but they are always delicious.
07/04/2024: Really very nice, beautiful decoration, friendly and welcoming staff, really good and well-filled bagel, the best being the albertine (composition of your choice) I recommend.
Edit: the bagels are much less filling than before.

25/09/2024: We ate well in this restaurant but the service was not well organized. They brought us the aperitif (cocktails) at the same time as the dishes! We didn't even have time to drink our aperitif! When we pointed it out at the end, the waiters seemed like they didn't care and were only slightly apologetic. There are better addresses in Old Nice!
20/09/2024: We ate excellently. Gnocchi with gorgonzola, ravioli with mushrooms and truffles, linguini with seafood were excellent. The service was good and quick. The price is reasonable for the quality and fast service. We were absolutely satisfied.

17/09/2024: Location. View. This City...this is enough for 5 stars. Because the Promenade des Anglais is one of the most beautiful avenues in the world. All the major hotels in Nice are trained for excellence and French-style service.

There were some bad reviews, so I just booked based on the view.
The staff are also very friendly
The view and room condition were all very good.
The beach is right in front and there are many restaurants nearby.
Next time I come to Nice again
I'm planning to book my entire itinerary at this hotel.
I recommend it because the price is reasonable.

But check your tickets because when I get home
I noticed that the young woman who took care of me had doubled the weight of my cherries.
Is this a mistake or intentional…?

05/09/2024: Very friendly service. Low key, family-run vibes. A bit pricer than I expected given how casual it is. The fresh spring rolls were nice, I would’ve liked them served with hoisin although they came with fish sauce. Complimentary prawn crackers were a lovely touch. The toilet was a bit of an issue, no light so it’s pitch black and it didn’t flush
