We discovered this little restaurant while strolling through the streets.
Located at the foot of the church, the place has a friendly atmosphere.
We ordered the daily specials, which were excellent, and a very good children's pizza as well.
Everything is homemade with good ingredients, and you can taste the difference when you eat. Impeccable service with a smile.
The owner is lovely and offered us a limoncello at the end of our meal.
A must-try in Villefranche!

24/06/2026: Great restaurant but now in summer 2026 so far (24 juin) this listing on maps continually shows that it is temporarily closed and when we walked by it looks closed. Owners should update status if it is open.
07/05/2026: Our favorite place in Villefranche. The service is outstanding, the staff is friendly and efficient. The food is delicious! We have been coming here for more than 15 years and have NEVER been disappointed.

28/07/2026: We have been coming to this restaurant for over 15 years and have been 3 times in 1 week this time we have been. To be unpleasantly surprised that on the last occasion visiting that we where charged and added to the bill 3 small sachets of butter the other 2 times this week and the previous 15 years this has never happened, we questioned it and the waiter was very very rude! Unacceptable behaviour

06/07/2026: The waitress didn't say hello and had a haughty, unpleasant attitude. We arrived at 12:00 and were served at 12:40… And the pasta dishes we were served were mediocre (you can make the same at home, or even better). Tourist trap, RUN AWAY!
06/07/2026: This is simply a tourist trap. The dish costs €21.90; I can get the same thing for €5 and there's no difference in taste. The waiters don't even say hello; you can tell none of them want to work here. I even suspect the food is frozen and bought from the supermarket next door. And don't even get me started on the 30-minute wait to be served. And it wasn't even that busy. Avoid at all costs!

14/11/2025: The owner, Katia, made my wife and I feel like absolute VIPs on our honeymoon. The table service was very attentive and it seemed that other customers were attended to very promptly attended to at the same time. 10,000% recommended and would visit again! I recommend the Nutella, pistachio and mango ice creams.
28/09/2025: Unacceptable service. I simply asked for tea, which was clearly stated on the menu, and the waitress responded in a derogatory manner, calling my request "weird." She then introduced herself as the "boss" and continued to behave arrogantly and disrespectfully toward the customer. This attitude is completely unprofessional and should have no place in the restaurant industry. This establishment deserves to be called "Bad Mood."

16/02/2026: Suddenly I'm walking around a four-star hotel with a lamp because it's too dark in the room. It doesn't help.
The hotel has a mediocre reception that tells you things differently than advertised.
And then at breakfast (9:30 am), everything is cold, the baguette is gone, and you get pre-baked rolls. I had to ask for them twice.
Definitely not four stars.

Very friendly staff - family business.
31/10/2024: We had room 5, a double room with a balcony. The room was excellent, very comfy bed, and the balcony great. There is a very busy road junction outside the hotel, which is loud at times.

14/09/2025: They're getting a little less young, it's true, but waiting half an hour for a crok or a salad and getting an overcooked minced beef steak and an inedible rib-eye steak like the fries bought next door at Picard, a mixed salad with three small Chavignol goat's cheeses, luckily there's a lot of salad on the plate, it's time they took on a little intern on the weekend, they get very busy very quickly but know how to take the money and give change, really, we go there quite often but are more and more disappointed, the boss Henri, depending on the day, depending on his humor and depending on the day
