10/12/2024: Very good evening with friends with quality service. Pleasant, funny and good advice server. We ate very well.

05/12/2024: undeniably the coffee and desert that we ordered were so good! great location too and many other nice places to see nearby. price was ok but I find it uncomfortable that the staffs has been looking at me several times. i don't know why they were doing that. it was very annoying

28/08/2024: We spent the day at the Hotel swimming pool, we were in the presence of a summer camp swimming pool, children shouting, diving, toys lying around on the edge.... at no time was the staff there. intervened to calm things down, in short we wanted calm, it was a failure, we won't come back. In addition, a small renovation of the swimming pool would be welcome because its general condition leaves something to be desired.

20/08/2024: Restaurant with the terrace at the top of the hotel -> excellent cuisine and service / but if you come alone you get almost no 'adequate' space we will put you aside. 🥲 too bad...

09/09/2024: We called here for a drink and comfort break about 11am and decided to stay on for lunch. It’s a lovely spot, next to the harbour and the tables were well covered by parasols, as it was very hot. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. We had fillet of dorade with rice and carrots and steak hatche with chips. The fish was lovely, really fresh and well cooked. Most of the staff were friendly, but we drew the short straw with the guy who took our order. He was unfriendly and when we asked if we could have fries instead of rice and veg, he said if we wanted fries, we would have to pay extra for a side dish. Most of the other dishes came with fries, so it didn’t seem an unreasonable request, Maybe it’s a rule of the kitchen, but he wasn’t very friendly about it.

02/09/2024: I arrived late. 3:08 for lunch, they close for lunch at 3. I understand as I waited tables for years at a very popular tourist area. However he was rude about it. He could have cared less. I then politely asked if I could order a drink and he said yes. Found a table and waited for 10 minutes while 4 wait staff stood around and talked. I enjoyed the food but will never go back. I vote with my money. If your going to be a SERVER at the very least do it well and be polite

23/09/2024: Take a walk along the waterfront and recoil at the prices for average food, drink and service. Then take a walk up the alley between Spallato and Wine Pier. Don't be put off by the basic looking place or staff. Sit down, you will be attended to by very friendly & efficient waiters. The food is very original & authentic. Prepared and presented beautifully by the chef. Carafe of wine Bottle of water Steak Salad Nicoise Bread 2 shots ( on the house) 47 euros Best meal of the trip so far. Hoping to come back before we leave.

07/08/2024: Accueil d’une gentillesse inestimable. Les propriétaires sont très serviables et sont aux petits soins pour leurs clients et ont été adorables avec notre petit chat.

15/09/2024: We spent a month in Villefranche this summer and were frequent guests of the wine bar at the Welcome Hotel, although we did not stay at the hotel. There is no better place in Villefranche to stop by for a glass of wine or a cocktail before dinner or anytime with beautiful views of the harbor and the waterfront. Good wines were available by the glass or bottle and they serve a killer gin and tonic with Monkey 47 gin in a large bowl glass at a reasonable price. We can’t wait to get back there!

09/09/2024: Nice lil wine bar inside of a hotel. Staff were lovely and attentive, and was nice to look out onto the sea / harbour.

05/11/2024: Noi qui solo per una colazione prima di andare camminando per conoscere la zona. Nulla da eccepire. Sinceramente il costo si equipara agli locali , euro più euro meno. Qui è tutto caro...

03/11/2024: Camarero, con tatuaje en el cuello, fue increíblemente grosero conmigo. Hablaba muy poco inglés. Hablaba muy poco francés. Básicamente me ignoró. Pedí el cheque, me hizo esperar más de 10 minutos. Cuando le dije que quería el cheque ahora. Se volvió exteriormente grosero y me dijo que tenía que esperar. Le pedí más a un gerente y me ignoró. Cuando mi amigo se me unió nunca me preguntó si ella quería algo. Cuando ella le preguntó acerca de solo conseguir un tipo de queso, él dijo que no y se fue. Quizá fue porque éramos dos mujeres negras de América. Definitivamente no lo recomendaría.

19/09/2024: It's been a long time since I went there because I was disappointed. But there, I bought a piece of Aigues Mortes fougasse and the dough, as incredible as it may seem, was raw, it stuck to the paper, I don't know how they didn't see it.

06/09/2024: I came here after searching for a delicious bakery on Google Maps for breakfast. The pain au chocolat was soft, so it was probably from yesterday. The cappuccino also had too much milk.

13/09/2024: accueil sympathique dans ce petit restaurant de la vieille ville de Villefranche , cuisine maison savoureuse, service au top,allez-y sans hésiter !

09/09/2024: Le repas était exceptionnel. Le service et l accueil top niveau. À tel point que nous y sommes retournés. Top resto de Villefranche.

25/11/2024: We ate here for dinner twice in Villefranche. The view is excellent and the sea bass is freshly caught the same day. My bf got the lasagna and a different pasta the next day. The waiter was so nice and offered to take our photo in the middle of the street! Overall a great experience - great food, great service and great views.

30/10/2024: Voila le meilleur rapport qualité prix des restaurants du front de mer de Villefranche-sur-Mer. Le service est attentionné et efficace, la carte a de quoi satisfaire tous les palais, et être assis à une table en front de mer de ce village iconique vous fait sentir en vacances.

14/01/2025: We had lunch with a generous portion of Provencal mussels, which are very good. To conclude, a gourmand café with a splendid tiramisu. The staff is pleasant and kind. We returned a year later and again ate very well! I chose the dish of the day choucroute royale, sauerkraut frankfurters, bacon etc.
