13/07/2024: Une honte! Je réserve par téléphone une table pour 3 personnes. Quand nous arrivons (à l'heure prévue) l'employée nous dit qu"elle n'est pas au courant, que le patron-cuisinier n'est pas là, qu'elle va l'appeler pour qu'il vienne nous faire un repas. Bien sûr personne ne répond à cet appel. Elle pense que ce soir l'établissement est seulement ouvert pour le bar. Nous repartons à la recherche d'un restaurant plus accueillant.

13/09/2024: Soirée entre copines dans une ambiance dépaysante ! Super cocktails (essayez celui au gingembre !). Nous avons pris une formule et nous nous nous sommes régalés. La décoration permet aussi de s’évader le temps de ce moment.

22/07/2024: La présentation sur leur site était plus alléchante que la réalité, pas mal de plats manquants (absents le féroce d’avocat, les beignets de poisson, la marinade de saumon, les petits thons snackés au sésame, la vérine de salade créole... ) Petits cocktails. Accueil sans plus. Desserts sortis d'une pâtisserie de proximité, pas faits maison. On ne peut pas conseiller.

08/06/2024: Beautiful quiet place in a beautiful atmosphere. Impeccable and pleasant service There is a terrace but at the side of the road Good and decent meal but the price is not justified in my opinion. (Dish at €27) Basic desserts, nothing more

09/09/2024: Called in here tonight for a quick pint of local beer . Very pleasant place to be with a very helpful guy serving , wasn’t too busy tonight so was able to hear the great selection of music in the bar and watch a football match on a big tv . Plenty of inside and outside seating , the bar and seating area very clean , toilets very clean and well stocked with toiletries. I enjoyed the drinks here tonight and would highly recommend it as a place to chill .

23/08/2024: Everything is good! I have been a loyal customer for years, it benefits from being known. The dishes are delicious and the price is more than fair! I recommend with my eyes closed!

05/08/2024: I've been there 3 times and loved it every time. I had never eaten smoked meat, it's a discovery. /!\ I note however that there are some very bad reviews, and they all concern takeaway!! I deduce that it is better to go eat there directly!

21/07/2024: Our family (2 adults and 3 kids) traveled around France for three weeks. Last three days we spent in Paris. We have dined in so many places around the country. On the last night we chose to walk to the closest restaurant we can find in the area of our accommodation and we stumbled upon this lovely cosy restaurant. We have walked in and apologised for our lack of French and were greeted with such warmth and kindness!!! Food was delicious and portions were very generous. Next time in Paris we will visit Valentin again!!! Many thanks from our family!!!

14/07/2024: Perfect experience. Perfect restaurant experience. Food delicious: all three courses. Fresh, vibrant & slightly unusual flavours. Friendly, attentive service. View/setting superb overlooking river & beautiful buildings opposite as the sun set; a relatively quieter end of town yet still with a good amount of bustle to give atmosphere.

30/08/2024: Hello, I went there last week, the waitress was great, on the other hand we waited 40 minutes for our dishes, the cook alone, I can understand that we are expected on the other hand hearing him get angry because there was a something that didn't work, not cool for the customers. Top-notch cuisine on the other hand, he cooks top-notch!!!

09/07/2024: Until you have celiac problems you are not aware of the problem of eating outside the home. An oasis in the desert is this cozy restaurant. The same menu for everyone and they adapt the menu for celiacs and give you alternatives to lactose-free cheeses. And also the spectacular attention, with grace and salt. It started to rain a little harder and they changed our tables without any problems; because droplets fell on us. You also speak Spanish without problems. If we return to Hendaye we will stop again to eat 100% safe. To improve, I would expand the dates and times for booking online; that he only left on Saturdays; and that would have been the finishing touch to a 10 restaurant. Totally recommended restaurant.

25/06/2024: Difficult to answer about the cuisine because it was a music festival, all we did was drink and dance. The boss is welcoming and friendly. A bit of a sterile comment but I recommend it.
