29/07/2026: Just like three years ago, we're back in the area for our vacation. Back then, we discovered this restaurant by chance, and it was a revelation! Three years later, we're returning and pleasantly surprised. Everything is homemade with fresh ingredients. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit!

24/06/2026: A great stopover for motorcycle touring. The hotel is well located, with easy access and secure parking for motorcycles. The owner is very friendly. The rooms are nice, with very comfortable beds and are very clean. If we're ever back in the area, we'll definitely stay at the Hotel Saint-Jean again.
07/06/2026: I highly recommend the Hotel Saint-Jean. Its location is ideal, close to everything, and there's parking. The welcome was warm, the rooms were spacious and air-conditioned, with a shower and toilet, and very clean. It was very quiet... a great place to stay, I would gladly return. Isabelle Oriol

26/07/2026: What a disappointment! The reviews were so positive, it seems customers can't tell the difference between something simply assembled on a plate (like defrosted desserts) and something prepared. Plus, having a magician perform during the meal is really tacky.
Only the service was decent, with friendly staff.
19/07/2026: We dined on the terrace overlooking the Volane without a prior reservation. The setting was perfect, as were the service and the food.

27/08/2025: At the beginning of summer, I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant with my family. The owner was very friendly, and we enjoyed a long chat with her during our visit. The menu looked absolutely delicious. Each dish featured local ingredients. I personally enjoyed a succulent goat cheese and honey salad with seasonal vegetables and goat cheese from a producer near Vals—it was divine. In short, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Vals; it's well worth the trip.

18/03/2026: It's a shame the night was disturbed by a strong smell of cigarettes which we reported to reception and the noise for part of the night from the machinery that was tarring the tunnel exit.
21/02/2026: Bike-friendly. Excellent value for money for the room. Very good breakfast for the price. Very good restaurant. Open off-season. The telephone reception was excellent; you could hear the smile of the person on the other end. The welcome on-site was perfect, regardless of the team member. Thoughtful touches that made our stay special. Thank you for this wonderful stay.

11/07/2026: We wanted to order two pizzas at 7 pm, and they told us after service that there were tourists. Great for the locals, they'll be waiting for us this winter.
10/04/2026: We ordered two takeaway pizzas and we weren't disappointed! They were delicious, with a thin crust, cooked in 10 minutes, and very reasonably priced. Plus, the owners are friendly and welcoming! 👍☺️

08/07/2026: I've often gone there for a drink, but today I wanted to go for a meal. It was around 6:20 PM, and when I asked if they served food, the owner replied, "Not before 1:00 AM, we're not in the Netherlands." Very disappointed. I left after just one drink.

25/08/2024: Accueil très agréable en terrasse en soirée d’été. Service parfait par une jeune fille professionnelle et très sympathique.
Bons plats avec des produits locaux mais pas très copieux…pour un prix assez élevé
25/08/2024: Très bon restaurant, mets fins, personnel très agréable. Très bien situé à 2 pas des thermes et du parc. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les conseils du serveur très disponible et sympathique.
