Les meilleurs restaurants en Vals-Les-Bains

10/11/2024: We had a pleasant time at this restaurant on September 4, 2023, where we enjoyed a matured ribeye steak. It was so good that we decided to return to the Ardèche region, already salivating in anticipation. The restaurant was full, yet there was no wine list (we were told, after our order was taken, before even being asked about our preferred aperitifs, that they were displayed in the restaurant's entrance). We were very disappointed to find a plate with salad, a bland baked potato, no sauce other than pre-packaged ketchup/mayo, and an unmatured ribeye steak. (Even though it was still listed on the menu.) It left a bitter taste of lower-quality products in less than a year, at the same price.

27/08/2025: At the beginning of the summer, I had the chance to go to this restaurant with my family. The owner of the establishment was very friendly and we were able to talk with her at length during our visit. In terms of gastronomy, everything on the menu was tempting. Each dish was made with local products. I personally had the right to a succulent goat cheese and honey salad with seasonal vegetables and goat cheese from a producer near Vals, it was delicious. In summary, I recommend anyone coming to Vals to try this restaurant, it is well worth the detour.

25/11/2025: Absolutely perfect: the food, the value for money at lunchtime, and the service. The quality of the ingredients and the preparation is excellent.
