26/08/2026: A pleasant restaurant with excellent, tasty, and generous cuisine – well done! The only downside was the inconsistent service; the diet menu seemed to be completely unknown when we ordered, but fortunately the large salad turned out to be an excellent second choice.

09/10/2026: My partner and I came for lunch today and the value for money was excellent! A very warm welcome, pleasant and smiling staff, and both the steak and the daily special (trout meunière with almonds) were delicious! A highly recommended establishment in the village of Vals-les-Bains!

20/09/2026: My wife and I had lunch outside. We were offered a seat in the shade, which was fine. But the fact that the cobwebs on the chair were only covered with a cushion was unacceptable. The tables had tablecloths and salt and pepper shakers... except for ours. The cobbled boxer's chair was covered in dirt. Workmen were walking between the tables. The onion roast beef was okay. The Zurich-style sliced ​​veal with rösti was basic cafeteria food and overpriced for what it offered. For these reasons, we wouldn't recommend this restaurant.
