24/06/2026: A great stopover for motorcycle touring. The hotel is well located, with easy access and secure parking for motorcycles. The owner is very friendly. The rooms are nice, with very comfortable beds and are very clean. If we're ever back in the area, we'll definitely stay at the Hotel Saint-Jean again.
07/06/2026: I highly recommend the Hotel Saint-Jean. Its location is ideal, close to everything, and there's parking. The welcome was warm, the rooms were spacious and air-conditioned, with a shower and toilet, and very clean. It was very quiet... a great place to stay, I would gladly return. Isabelle Oriol

27/08/2025: At the beginning of summer, I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant with my family. The owner was very friendly, and we enjoyed a long chat with her during our visit. The menu looked absolutely delicious. Each dish featured local ingredients. I personally enjoyed a succulent goat cheese and honey salad with seasonal vegetables and goat cheese from a producer near Vals—it was divine. In short, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Vals; it's well worth the trip.

26/08/2026: A pleasant restaurant with excellent, tasty, and generous cuisine – well done! The only downside was the inconsistent service; the diet menu seemed to be completely unknown when we ordered, but fortunately the large salad turned out to be an excellent second choice.

20/09/2026: My wife and I had lunch outside. We were offered a seat in the shade, which was fine. But the fact that the cobwebs on the chair were only covered with a cushion was unacceptable. The tables had tablecloths and salt and pepper shakers... except for ours. The cobbled boxer's chair was covered in dirt. Workmen were walking between the tables. The onion roast beef was okay. The Zurich-style sliced veal with rösti was basic cafeteria food and overpriced for what it offered. For these reasons, we wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

25/08/2024: Très bon restaurant, mets fins, personnel très agréable. Très bien situé à 2 pas des thermes et du parc. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les conseils du serveur très disponible et sympathique.
25/08/2024: Accueil très agréable en terrasse en soirée d’été. Service parfait par une jeune fille professionnelle et très sympathique.
Bons plats avec des produits locaux mais pas très copieux…pour un prix assez élevé
