08/09/2024: Good atmosphere and cozy decor, but the most important thing is of course the food and that was absolutely fantastic 😋
Of course I can't forget Abby who puts a smile on everyone's face 😃
The wines are also delicious and, as previously described by others, personal and suitable for every dish.
Because everything together is so great, we came back the next day to do it all over again 🥰

29/10/2025: We had lunch on the terrace of the "Café du Musée" restaurant in Givet during our cycling trip along the Meuse in June. The friendly and helpful staff welcomed us warmly. The menu is classic, but the dishes vary; the daily special was sausage and mashed potatoes with a well-prepared pudding. Everything was delicious and plentiful, and the service was impeccable. The plates are served with fresh ingredients. I highly recommend this restaurant for cyclists. Excellent value for money.
28/09/2025: Disappointment. Change of owner/management.
Food: No longer trust what Google continues to list as a menu. No more accompanied pork chops..., gizzard salad, rump steak, rabbit leg, etc.... and no more floating island, etc., in the dessert section.
Food presentation is very limited, even though the menu is longer than before!
Service: Waiter surprised when pointed out that the menu isn't fresh, in other words, dirty!
Atmosphere: This used to be a small, clean establishment. Today, the faux leather interior seats are scratched or torn with exposed foam! What a presentation for customers! The counter area had a problem at floor level - covered with thick brown sticky tape! ALL THIS TO TELL YOU THAT IT'S TIME TO GET YOURSELF TOGETHER. You benefit from a very nice location and a formerly very good reputation. Good luck to you!

13/09/2024: A little next to Place Carnot and the Meuse is this Indian establishment. Cuisine underrated but very refined and done in a good way. Warm welcome. To recommend.

01/11/2024: J'aurais conseillé ce restaurant sans problème,mauvaise expérience ce 1er novembre 24.commande 1 pates de la mer, et 2 calzones. Pâtes servir, pas les calzones. Patron et serveuse passent plusieurs fois sans se retourner sur le fait que nous attendons notre plat, notre amie ayant eu le temps de terminer le sien.Nous interpellons le patron , le piatezolo nous a oublié, on ne s'excuse mais excuse le piatezolo qui a beaucoup de travail. En moins de 10' les calzones sont déposées sur notre table. Plates, d'enormes cornes de pâtes , épaisses comme un pain, garniture pas chaude, et de ce fait pas appétissante. Nous la goûtons , cette calzones a été cuite à four trop chaud , les bords cuits à la limite du carbonisé.lorsque l'on interpelle le patron et qu'il voit les calzones restées sur l'assiette et que nous lui disons qu'elles sont pas bonne, il rigole , limite moqueur et nous dit que tous les autres clients sont content,montrant des assiettes de pizzas vides. Nous lui proposons de faire goûter nos calzones aux clients. Pas content de nos remarques il a eu le beau geste de ne pas nous faire payer les calzones et lorsque nous lui disons que par son comportement et ces mauvaises calzones, il perdait 3 clients et que plus jamais nous ne recommanderons ce restaurant, il a répondu, pas grave j'ai d'autres clients. Une mauvaise préparation et cuisson et un retard de service a été catalogué par le patron tout hilare de "ça peut arriver"
28/10/2024: Nous sommes allé avec notre chien ,très bon restaurant italien produit frais et services impeccable. Personnel très agréable à refaire sans hésiter

15/08/2024: From Bxl, direction Givet for a day of relaxation,
A successful stop at the Auberge de la Tour, we ate divinely, nothing to complain about except perhaps a little for the waiting times but the terrace was packed so I won't stick to it ;- ) . If we return to the region we will stop there again, so good!

03/09/2024: Be careful if you want to work there I don't recommend it, it has better places than in this bakery they take things from you and in the end not even done and if it's very hot you have no bottle of water and no air conditioning I don't recommend you strongly

21/09/2024: There were 2 of us and we chose a brick as a starter, then a couscous from the chef and a lamb skewer with fries. Everything was very good (fresh and tasty products) except the wait was a bit long (more than 2 hours) even though the restaurant was not full.

08/12/2024: Enfin un restaurant italien dans notre région, où l'on peut déguster d'excellentes pizzas ! Nous avons passé un très agréable moment hier soir dans cet établissement qui a changé de d'exploitant début 2024. Service impeccable, souriant, des entrées justement proportionnées, pizzas délicieuses, vins italiens bien choisis. Au dessert une buchette aux fruits rouge super légère. Le restaurant se trouvant à 10 minutes de chez nous, on va revenir souvent...
23/11/2024: Repas de notre petit club de marche dans ce sympathique restaurant. Nous étions entre 35 et 40 . Très bons services, plats en consistance et relativement bon. Personnel sympa et rapide malgré notre nombre.
Vin ( en pichet ) très bon.
On y reviendra mais en couple afin d'avoir une idée plus précise .
