24/03/2024: Very disappointed We came there to have a good time. Soulless decor, atmosphere in the same style. Looking at the menu, there are no seasonal or local regional products. So we chose a plate of tapas from the menu: various donuts (frozen?) Black olives and sausage. Then requested blue steak, cooking not respected because slice much too thin, €25. Prawns (dish chosen by default since no regional offer) with vegetable risotto (a few very small pieces of carrot). Question to the waitress about cooking risotto, response, "I don't know". We were obliged to suggest that she go and find out. We are in Ariège where there are so many local products to highlight!!! Well, we don't understand at all the laudatory comments we read, has the chef changed recently?

12/03/2024: Very disappointed by the cuisine which had none of the explosion of flavor expected when I have a Thai lemongrass soup (no fresh herb to flavor this broth?) Disappointed also by this crispy duck which was far too dry, without any other raw vegetables only leek (here too, coriander for example would have been welcome) The other diners at my table didn't think their dishes were great either. Bad rating for the atmosphere; collapsed ceiling in part of the room, it's not very inspiring...

06/05/2024: We had 2 different pizzas and the 2 pizzas looked the same! Even if we know that it's more economical for restaurants, it's a shame to absolutely want to mix the mozzarella and Emmental each time and also put the cheese on top. A pizza is mozzarella, not Emmental! The meat is of good quality. The service is ok.

02/04/2024: I can't help but give this restaurant 5 stars, it fully deserves it. In an atmosphere of good friends, a welcome that is a pleasure to see, an establishment decorated in an artisanal way. As for dishes, I would recommend the cuts of beef. Also try the piece of beef for 2, it's a treat accompanied by a little Ariégeois wine, but I'll let the host tell you about it, he will do it better than me. Desserts are also homemade. Finally, a good address to discover or rediscover.

15/04/2024: Half-board stay. Mixed opinion. The “prestige” room is spacious, comfortable and has a large bathroom. It offers a beautiful view of the Oriège river (with an “O”, yes). We weren't left hungry for the rest, that's fair to say. The evening meal is OK but not worth the €26 requested. As for breakfast, there was simply no bread. To our astonishment we were told that the delivery had not taken place! However, a bakery is 300 meters away. Damage.
