- The beer bar advertises only one "beer" on tap: Paulaner.
- A half-pint of Paulaner with Picon -> 5 euros. Perhaps the rest is good?
10/08/2026: Excellent restaurant.
I recommend the homemade cassoulet.
Very pleasant dining room.
Very clean restrooms.
Highly recommended.

25/03/2026: I booked a table at this restaurant because we were visiting the area the next day, and it exceeded our expectations. The cassoulet was top-notch, and the baked Camembert was delicious and generously portioned (the side potatoes were fabulous). Excellent value for money! I definitely recommend it and we'll be back :)
18/03/2026: I enjoyed a delicious roasted Camembert with walnuts and honey for lunch; it was a real treat, served with great fries and salad.
I'll be back to try the rest soon 😋

27/09/2026: I've been a customer for a few years now. The service is fantastic, and the owner is so kind—if only everyone could be like him!
The pizzas are excellent, with a wide variety of choices. Personally, I think they're the best in town.
26/08/2026: Excellent pizzas, they're very generously topped and the crust is fantastic!
A special mention for the Julia, the new pizza from 2026 that I loved!!
Finally, the service was great, I highly recommend it ☺️

It's pure madness to stumble upon such a restaurant in Castelnaudary.
Don't hesitate: you'll be blown away!
The chef? A real character—like Obelix, he fell into the kitchen as a child.
The welcome and service are absolutely wonderful, sincere and warm.
And the cassoulet… a symphony of flavors!
A huge thank you to this magnificent conductor, a true master of cassoulet.
I can't wait to go back and make my taste buds sing again!
28/10/2025: We had booked a lunch table and received confirmation from the manager. When we arrived, the restaurant was closed. We waited for over 15 minutes beyond our reservation time, but there was no sign that it would open.
I do not recommend it.

14/04/2026: I do not recommend this place. The manager rushed us to order because he claimed it would be busy for Valentine's Day, but there were only two or three people when I arrived, then two more. We're in Castel, not Marseille or Paris, sir! I've been to many restaurants and I've never heard anything like it in my life. You have to hurry to order because there will be customers! He was incredibly rude. I came with my daughters and I won't be back. The food is really mediocre, the portions are small, and we found a thin stem in the stiff rice that my daughter could have swallowed. I don't recommend it for the service either! The New Sushi restaurant, which is Thai, is much more commercial, good, clean, and welcoming. 💁♂️ This place is absolutely terrible.
10/04/2026: The food reminds me of my childhood: I love it. The welcome was warm. The timing was perfect. I've been recommending it to my friends who appreciate both the food and the atmosphere. It deserves to be better known. Go there, the quality and price are unbeatable.

Entrée charcuterie très copieux décoration industriel très jolie
On se sent très bien dans ce petit resto avec la présence de mamie et l'amour et le respect de sa petite fille
On repassera avec un grand plaisir
25/07/2024: Nous venons depuis toujours dans ce routier. A midi, le menu à 15€ entrée plat dessert vin compris. Service rapide, jolie rerrasse à l'arrière. Atmosphère familiale. Bon, copieux, pas cher. C'est trop bien.

29/06/2024: De passage, nous souhaitons déjeuner pour déguster le cassoulet de Castelnaudary. L objectif à été atteint car nous avons apprécié le CASSOULET avec sa salade, excellent. Un café gourmand pour clore le repas composé de 4 desserts différents également succulents.
Vous êtes servis sur une nappe blanche, serviette tissu, très apprécies et la bonne humeur et le professionnalisme des personnels ne font qu agrémenter votre repas.
Bonne maison.

20/09/2024: C'est dommage ! L'endroit est très sympa, sur une péniche, sur le canal du Midi à l'ombre des parasols, que demander de mieux quand il fait chaud, c'est super agréable...
La magie s'arrête là ! Côté cuisine, déception !
Gambas insipides, entrecôte sans saveur sans aucune tenue, cassoulet nul ! On est au pays du cassoulet, BRAVO !
Il manque un cuistot dans ce resto.
12/09/2024: Étape à Castelnaudary sur la route de Paris. Quel plaisir de dîner au bord du canal du midi par une belle soirée. Accueil sympathique et service rapide. La cuisine est simple mais correcte pour un prix raisonnable. Et comme je vous l'ai dit au début un plaisir de manger sur l'eau.
