24/09/2026: Today we went to David's to eat a very good cassoulet. Don't hesitate to book a table at this welcoming place; the cassoulet and the Catalan cream are excellent.
22/09/2026: A very nice establishment. A warm welcome. Their specialty is cassoulet (order it when you book) served after a 6-hour cooking time! Excellent. Of course, other dishes are available on the menu. Good wines. The owner is known even in the United States, where his signature dish is also appreciated! An address not to be missed...

04/10/2026: While traveling through France, we stopped Friday evening at the Quai 21 restaurant to try Castelnaudary's specialty: cassoulet.
It was excellent, very generous, served with a local wine—a real treat with very friendly service.
Bravo!
04/10/2026: We had a wonderful time at this restaurant... the food was perfect (the cassoulet was delicious), and Jérôme welcomes everyone with kindness and warmth, taking great care of each guest... I highly recommend it.

03/06/2026: Passing through for a business trip for one night. From the outside, the hotel doesn't look like much. Once you step inside, everything changes.
Refined cuisine, efficient service. Pleasant, clean, bright, and quiet room.
I'm adding it to my list of recommended places. You can stay here without hesitation.

10/09/2026: We arrived by chance and late for lunch, but we were very pleased. The welcome and service were warm, the decor and terrace were lovely, the menu varied, and the food very good. Good value for money; we recommend this restaurant.

20/05/2026: I booked a 3-night stay with dinner and breakfast included. Everything was perfect. The price is very reasonable, and the food is excellent; the portions are generous, and the flavors are delightful. Kudos to the chefs! The breakfast is also substantial, and the rooms are perfect. The welcome was truly warm. As soon as I have the chance to return, I will definitely stay at your hotel again.
It's very well located, and everything is within walking distance. Thank you again for the warm welcome. I highly recommend staying here; it's a truly wonderful experience.

17/10/2026: I really enjoyed this place with its elegant design that combines stone, glass, and wood. The understated elegance was also a plus. The welcome was warm, and the atmosphere was equally inviting. I thoroughly enjoyed the chef's Breton galette.
Delicious. I can't wait to go back.

15/09/2026: This is an excellent place to stock up on the city's true specialty! The historic establishment has its original location in the heart of the city center, but also a very convenient outlet located at the city's entrance, very close to the highway exit.
The only slight logistical drawback is that parking in front of the shop at the city entrance is very limited, with few spaces available. But it's still a must-visit for those wanting to take home an authentic cassoulet, whether canned or in a jar.
12/09/2026: A company that produces its own preserves and charcuterie. We haven't yet tried the duck cassoulets we bought... lots of choices.

11/10/2026: The food is always excellent! But the glass of local wine is far too expensive, the same price as on the Champs-Élysées 😡
08/10/2026: Excellent cassoulet. Warm atmosphere, pleasant waitress. The only slight downside was the chocolate profiteroles, which weren't very good, but when you come to this restaurant, you come mainly for the cassoulet, which is a real treat.

It's pure madness to stumble upon such a restaurant in Castelnaudary.
Don't hesitate: you'll be blown away!
The chef? A real character—like Obelix, he fell into the kitchen as a child.
The welcome and service are absolutely wonderful, sincere and warm.
And the cassoulet… a symphony of flavors!
A huge thank you to this magnificent conductor, a true master of cassoulet.
I can't wait to go back and make my taste buds sing again!
28/10/2025: We had booked a lunch table and received confirmation from the manager. When we arrived, the restaurant was closed. We waited for over 15 minutes beyond our reservation time, but there was no sign that it would open.
I do not recommend it.

Entrée charcuterie très copieux décoration industriel très jolie
On se sent très bien dans ce petit resto avec la présence de mamie et l'amour et le respect de sa petite fille
On repassera avec un grand plaisir
25/07/2024: Nous venons depuis toujours dans ce routier. A midi, le menu à 15€ entrée plat dessert vin compris. Service rapide, jolie rerrasse à l'arrière. Atmosphère familiale. Bon, copieux, pas cher. C'est trop bien.

29/06/2024: De passage, nous souhaitons déjeuner pour déguster le cassoulet de Castelnaudary. L objectif à été atteint car nous avons apprécié le CASSOULET avec sa salade, excellent. Un café gourmand pour clore le repas composé de 4 desserts différents également succulents.
Vous êtes servis sur une nappe blanche, serviette tissu, très apprécies et la bonne humeur et le professionnalisme des personnels ne font qu agrémenter votre repas.
Bonne maison.

20/09/2024: C'est dommage ! L'endroit est très sympa, sur une péniche, sur le canal du Midi à l'ombre des parasols, que demander de mieux quand il fait chaud, c'est super agréable...
La magie s'arrête là ! Côté cuisine, déception !
Gambas insipides, entrecôte sans saveur sans aucune tenue, cassoulet nul ! On est au pays du cassoulet, BRAVO !
Il manque un cuistot dans ce resto.
12/09/2024: Étape à Castelnaudary sur la route de Paris. Quel plaisir de dîner au bord du canal du midi par une belle soirée. Accueil sympathique et service rapide. La cuisine est simple mais correcte pour un prix raisonnable. Et comme je vous l'ai dit au début un plaisir de manger sur l'eau.
