27/08/2026: Between the cassoulet (absolutely divine) and the frozen cassoulet for dessert (nougat ice cream), David, you truly spoiled us! We'll definitely be back if we're ever in Castelnaudary. I highly recommend it.
26/08/2026: Passing through town, we had a rental 50 meters away and didn't feel like using the car. What an excellent idea! We had a wonderful meal!! We tried the mussels as a starter (which were very good) and the tuna steak cooked to order was delicious!! The profiteroles for dessert were decadent and perfect. I highly recommend it!! We'll have to come back to try the cassoulet!!

03/08/2026: Passing through Castelnaudary, we had lunch at Quai 21 – a real treat! The dishes were beautiful and delicious... I highly recommend this restaurant.
02/08/2026: Friendly and smiling staff. Very warm welcome both on the phone and in person. We ordered two rib-eye steaks, 300g each. Delicious meat served with ratatouille and fries drizzled with pepper sauce. Absolutely delicious. For dessert, two excellent ice creams. The restaurant is located on the banks of the Canal du Midi and has a terrace. We'll be back. Toulouse isn't that far from Castelnaudary. Bruno.

03/09/2026: We were greeted with great warmth even though it was the end of service, and what can I say about the food! We thoroughly enjoyed it! Sangria, grilled mussels, cassoulet—everything was so delicious! Even the children's menu is excellent quality for the price. This restaurant is truly perfect! And thank you again for your warm welcome.

03/06/2026: Passing through for a business trip for one night. From the outside, the hotel doesn't look like much. Once you step inside, everything changes.
Refined cuisine, efficient service. Pleasant, clean, bright, and quiet room.
I'm adding it to my list of recommended places. You can stay here without hesitation.

20/05/2026: I booked a 3-night stay with dinner and breakfast included. Everything was perfect. The price is very reasonable, and the food is excellent; the portions are generous, and the flavors are delightful. Kudos to the chefs! The breakfast is also substantial, and the rooms are perfect. The welcome was truly warm. As soon as I have the chance to return, I will definitely stay at your hotel again.
It's very well located, and everything is within walking distance. Thank you again for the warm welcome. I highly recommend staying here; it's a truly wonderful experience.

It's pure madness to stumble upon such a restaurant in Castelnaudary.
Don't hesitate: you'll be blown away!
The chef? A real character—like Obelix, he fell into the kitchen as a child.
The welcome and service are absolutely wonderful, sincere and warm.
And the cassoulet… a symphony of flavors!
A huge thank you to this magnificent conductor, a true master of cassoulet.
I can't wait to go back and make my taste buds sing again!
28/10/2025: We had booked a lunch table and received confirmation from the manager. When we arrived, the restaurant was closed. We waited for over 15 minutes beyond our reservation time, but there was no sign that it would open.
I do not recommend it.

- The beer bar advertises only one "beer" on tap: Paulaner.
- A half-pint of Paulaner with Picon -> 5 euros. Perhaps the rest is good?

I recommend the homemade cassoulet.
Very pleasant dining room.
Very clean restrooms.
Highly recommended.

Crowded with only 2 servers, which is far too few. Waited over 45 minutes for our food.
09/09/2026: After eating a tourist trap cassoulet in a restaurant on the ramparts of Carcassonne, they redeemed the reputation of their dish, which is supposed to be a culinary gem. They saved their region ;)

Entrée charcuterie très copieux décoration industriel très jolie
On se sent très bien dans ce petit resto avec la présence de mamie et l'amour et le respect de sa petite fille
On repassera avec un grand plaisir
25/07/2024: Nous venons depuis toujours dans ce routier. A midi, le menu à 15€ entrée plat dessert vin compris. Service rapide, jolie rerrasse à l'arrière. Atmosphère familiale. Bon, copieux, pas cher. C'est trop bien.

29/06/2024: De passage, nous souhaitons déjeuner pour déguster le cassoulet de Castelnaudary. L objectif à été atteint car nous avons apprécié le CASSOULET avec sa salade, excellent. Un café gourmand pour clore le repas composé de 4 desserts différents également succulents.
Vous êtes servis sur une nappe blanche, serviette tissu, très apprécies et la bonne humeur et le professionnalisme des personnels ne font qu agrémenter votre repas.
Bonne maison.

20/09/2024: C'est dommage ! L'endroit est très sympa, sur une péniche, sur le canal du Midi à l'ombre des parasols, que demander de mieux quand il fait chaud, c'est super agréable...
La magie s'arrête là ! Côté cuisine, déception !
Gambas insipides, entrecôte sans saveur sans aucune tenue, cassoulet nul ! On est au pays du cassoulet, BRAVO !
Il manque un cuistot dans ce resto.
12/09/2024: Étape à Castelnaudary sur la route de Paris. Quel plaisir de dîner au bord du canal du midi par une belle soirée. Accueil sympathique et service rapide. La cuisine est simple mais correcte pour un prix raisonnable. Et comme je vous l'ai dit au début un plaisir de manger sur l'eau.
