22/07/2026: We had a lovely time at this restaurant. The meal was very good, and the staff were young, dynamic, and absolutely charming. The waiter who looked after us was particularly attentive to my 90-year-old parents. I thank him for that.

20/07/2026: We came to this restaurant on a recommendation. I chose a burger and I wasn't disappointed at all: it was generous, well-prepared, and very tasty. I left completely satisfied. However, my friends, who had ordered mussels and a fish dish, were much less impressed. They found these dishes lacked flavor, which is a shame. Overall, my personal experience remains very positive thanks to my meal and the pleasant atmosphere. I simply hope that the other dishes will live up to expectations on a future visit.

05/07/2026: Great find! Thank you, Pizza Alain! We were looking for a nice place to have dinner that evening, and we weren't disappointed, as we wanted to avoid tacos and the like. Upon arrival, we received a very warm welcome, despite the intense heat from the oven. The wait was short. Seated outside, we savored the pizzas. Indeed, unlike some pizzerias that sell pizzas colored with tomato sauce, or if you prefer, pizzas that look like they've been spray-painted red because there's so little sauce and no flavor, well, here, the tomato sauce is generously spread over the dough and it actually tastes good! Not to mention the toppings, which are also generously distributed. The crust is also excellent: thin, perfectly cooked, and delicious. And to top it all off, the prices are more than reasonable, thank you Pizza Alain, where others would charge much more. The team is welcoming, always available, and always smiling. I want to emphasize this because these days everyone seems grumpy, and you wonder why. The peace and quiet are truly wonderful—no noise at all, allowing for complete relaxation. The location is ideal: just a 30-minute walk from the village of Gruissan, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The sea view from the restaurant is a real bonus! Free parking is available, which is very convenient. I highly recommend it; we will gladly return!

06/06/2026: We had a wonderful time as a family at this restaurant. The fish soup was exquisite, and the mussels marinière were equally delicious. The servers were pleasant and efficient. There were ten of us, and the children were served quickly and before the adults. The placemats have coloring pages on the back of the menu, which is a nice touch to keep the children occupied at the end of the meal.

08/07/2026: I won't talk about the restaurant or their food here, since the place was full. No, I want to share an unpleasant experience I had in the sun lounger area of ​​this place... well, sun loungers, more like seats from another world... with no real shade, since they were covered by a canvas that let in every ray of sunlight. On a day like Sunday, July 5th, when it was nearly 40°C everywhere, a little shade would have been welcome. The sun loungers were dirty and old. We wanted to get drinks, but we had to go get them ourselves from the bar; no one came to ask if we needed anything. A mint tea with tap water cost €4 and was served at room temperature... not a single ice cube! A pretty poor service... and you have to bring your own drinks to your lounger... unbelievable! I've never seen anything like it. The €30 I paid for the sun loungers (pocketed quickly without a ticket 😁) was only for one hour, as it was impossible to stay longer due to the poor quality. Have a great season! 👋 🫣

A cheerful and festive atmosphere at the bar while we waited for a table, simple yet generous cuisine, colorful characters, and a special shout-out to Eric, Mylène's cousin! 🤣 A genuine, unpretentious, and authentic spot where you feel right at home!

14/05/2026: The waiter who served us was friendly and professional; however, the food was completely bland. The mussels marinière seemed to have been prepared by a chef who had clearly forgotten the proper recipe. The fries were supposedly fresh, but we have our doubts. The chocolate fondant wasn't moist at all. The other two waiters were a bit too familiar. And finally, the restrooms are in dire need of renovation. We know quite a few restaurants in Gruissan, but this is the only one we would avoid at all costs!
