19/09/2026: After a pleasant evening at a restaurant, we wanted to continue at the Gruissan casino to share a convivial moment with friends of 45 years old, parents, and business owners over the weekend. We were asked to leave the casino. We were stunned! We had only had one drink there. We arrived after dinner, without any scandals or inappropriate behavior, except perhaps for a close contact with the croupier, who was kind and considerate. This resulted in the refusal of our second order, our croupier being removed from the game and punished! It's a real shame and very unprofessional for us, as we enjoy ending our evenings at the casino. Mr. Manager, please work on your communication skills when dealing with customers who simply want to have fun without any fuss.

19/09/2026: The casino is very well located at the entrance to Gruissan, offering a warm welcome and extremely kind staff. The bar and restaurant perfectly met our expectations. A small personal observation: I think the bar is a bit too far out, which sometimes makes people hesitant to go and get a drink, and the bar staff tend to keep to themselves, which is a shame. The casino is a perfect place to relax; it's very friendly and, above all, always very clean. Recently, there's a new manager who I find particularly dedicated and attentive to the customers, always having a kind word for everyone, which really makes you want to come back. I wish him a bright future and many exciting projects to entertain us during the weekend evenings organized upstairs, and especially to help us take our minds off things as winter approaches. A big thank you to the staff who contribute so much to these moments of pleasure and conviviality.

03/09/2026: We've been coming to the port of Gruissan for over 20 years, and we've always stayed at the Argonauten. It's lovely to sit there and watch the harbor and the people. Last Monday, a band was playing. Les Rat's Corees had everyone on their feet and half the harbor dancing. It was a fantastic experience and a wonderful evening. We'll definitely be back!

01/09/2026: A disappointment in terms of comfort; the new seats are hard and there are no more cushions. It was always packed before the renovations, but now there's plenty of space.

18/09/2026: The waitress was friendly and polite, and the welcome was pleasant. The display was well-presented, and the outdoor tables were clean and well-maintained, which was a plus. Overall, good value for money. One small drawback, however: some of the ice creams were a little bland, which was a shame. I also appreciated the thoughtful touch for my dog ​​🐶: a bowl of water was brought to him as soon as we sat down. A simple but very thoughtful gesture! 🥰

23/04/2026: An absolutely perfect stay! 🌟 The cottage is very welcoming; you immediately feel at home. The owners are incredibly kind, always attentive, and available if needed. The peace and quiet are truly wonderful—no noise at all, allowing for complete relaxation. The location is ideal: just a 30-minute walk from the village of Gruissan, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The sea view from the restaurant is a real bonus! Free parking is available, which is very convenient. I highly recommend it; we will gladly return!

04/05/2026: This place could have been pleasant, but the experience was unfortunately ruined by some of the security guards. One subtly nudged me on the arm, another yelled at me to move my tray forward as if I couldn't keep up. Some even went so far as to touch customers' trays, adding or removing items as if we were their friends. It's disrespectful. Furthermore, if I choose not to order a starter or main course, that's my right. I shouldn't have to endure repeated or insistent remarks. The same goes for cheese: one day I want it, the next day I don't, it's my choice. I shouldn't have to justify myself or be criticized for it. One guard even came up behind my back, whispering in my ear, about my haircut. It startled me, and I found it extremely inappropriate. Out of courtesy, we keep our distance, address people face-to-face, and respect each other's personal space. Regarding the bread, some staff members seem to deliberately wait for you to arrive before disappearing, leaving you waiting unnecessarily. Then, if you leave because you don't have time to waste, they come back to yell at you about the bread. It's a pointless display of authority. In fact, a small suggestion: it would be better to let people serve themselves. That way, if you want bread, you take it, and if you don't, you simply walk by without having to justify yourself. We go to a restaurant to eat in peace, not to be watched, judged, or provoked. If you encounter respectful staff, the experience can be positive. Otherwise, it becomes frustrating. In my opinion, staff should only use firm reactions in genuinely risky situations, as I don't consider myself to be in one. Ultimately, this isn't about nitpicking or being paranoid: everyone comes to a restaurant to be respected and to be able to eat in peace. Customers deserve to be treated courteously, without provocation or patronizing them. Expressing my feelings here allows me to set a clear boundary and simply remind everyone that respect is the foundation of all interaction.

22/04/2026: For me, the best socially responsible restaurant in Paris. The portions are generous, the cooking is perfect, the selection is varied, and there's always a vegetarian option. A HUGE BONUS for the spice bin!!! Sorry to the front-of-house staff 😋 The first time I came to eat there, I fell asleep on the back bench because it was so delicious, hot, and plentiful. Unfortunately, I'll have to eat somewhere closer to home, but apparently, I won't be disappointed. The atmosphere is calmer in the evening. Avoid coming at 12:00 for the lunch service; it's an embarrassingly crowded place with grumbling in the queue. It's better to arrive around 12:40 when it's quieter and THERE'S MORE TO GO 🤣🤣🤣 Thank you to the chefs and the kind gentlemen at the front of house.

28/09/2026: Very disappointed. Too expensive for chicken thighs with a salt crust. Which wasn't actually a salt crust at all, just a small pile of salt on the side! The chicken was undercooked and still pink. The restaurant was noisy. In the evening, there was a mosquito infestation. In short, for two people, chicken thighs with fries, a chocolate Mouvaux cheese, a French toast brioche, and a carafe of water = €80. Tourist trap.

25/09/2026: The setting was lovely. A beautiful view of the salt marshes and a nicely shaded terrace. However, during a rather quiet period (late September), the service was rushed. Orders were taken almost as soon as we arrived. I ordered a seafood platter, which arrived less than two minutes after ordering, before our aperitifs, and therefore well before the other courses at our table. A bit disappointing. We still have fond memories, but we wouldn't necessarily recommend it; it's too "touristy" for our taste.

31/08/2026: Friendly hosts and delicious pizza at a reasonable price. See you next year, we're looking forward to it.

20/08/2026: In one year, the establishment has completely deteriorated. There's no longer a menu; everything is à la carte. The food isn't up to scratch. The desserts aren't ready. The toilets have been out of order for a long time. It's over.
