06/09/2024: Arrived here 3/9/24 and it's closed, no notice to say when you are open or closed at the restaurant and Google is not correct .UPDATE...we managed to eat here 5/9/24 and it was great service and pizza was one of the best I have had,great taste & good base.would return again if passing. We had a good chat with the owner about quillan .

18/12/2025: Excellent hotel, especially in terms of value for money. It's the first French hotel I've stayed in where the standard rooms are spacious. The hotel has an excellent restaurant, and the service is very friendly. Parking is available in the building's basement. The town center is within walking distance.

24/10/2025: Excellent value for money. The chef is noteworthy in a positive way. Excellent dinner.

07/08/2024: What a nice surprise ! During our wanderings in the village of Quillan, we discovered the river café. We had a delicious dinner there under the plane trees and the meal was as delicious as the price was reasonable. A good place with a really nice chef!

06/08/2024: Once again, Maek outdid himself and served us an absolutely divine tuna and salmon plancha! Half-cooked to perfection, the fish were truly killer! 😂 All this accompanied by a sublime trio of raw vegetables and salad, a treat! We thought we'd have a light meal for lunch, but we missed it again! This restaurant is a little gem and the welcome is always warm and relaxed! Go there quickly!

03/06/2024: Très bon repas, mais service déplorable. Apéro à peine servi que l entrée arrivait. Même pas une cacahouète. La bouteille de vin ouverte n importante comment. J ai redemandé de la sauce pour mon entrée on m'a répondu qu elle était dedans. Beaucoup de fautes de service, nous devions nous passer les assiettes. Quel dommage

17/05/2024: Ce restaurant est excellent. Le fait de proposer peu de plats est la preuve que tout est préparé maison et au dernier moment. Nous avons apprécié aussi, bien les plats de cuisine typiquement française que les plats vietnamiens. Ayant également séjourné à l'hôtel La Chaumière pour plusieurs nuits, nous avons apprécié le confort de ce 3 étoiles rénové, le silence des chambres, la courtoisie du propriétaire et du personnel. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est superbe et de très bonne qualité. Une excellente adresse à Quillan à recommander sans hésiter.

16/08/2024: Poor welcome… The boss is not at all commercial and very unpleasant! TO AVOID in Quillan.

16/08/2025: Having lunch on August 16th, this is a restaurant to avoid. It's disgusting, waiting an hour for the bill, the waitress completely out of it, and the waiter, let's not even mention the Schweppes at the exit. Too bad for them if you can avoid this restaurant. It's a shame to hire such people as servers, really ungracious, and so on.

18/06/2025: The Hummingbird is so cozy in winter! Swann and her husband speak French, English, and German. They welcome all the local wildlife. They are so friendly, and their organic coffee is a little gem!
