19/09/2024: **Rating: ★★★☆☆** I recently stayed at the Best Western in Menton and found it to be a mixed experience. The hotel itself is well-located, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, but the biggest downside was the sound insulation. The ventilation system was quite loud, and I could clearly hear trucks and motorbikes passing by early in the morning, which disrupted my sleep. If you're a light sleeper or value quietness, this could be an issue. Otherwise, it's a decent option for a short stay in Menton.

03/08/2024: So what can I say, it was just excellent. The service, the atmosphere and ESPECIALLY the food. The meat is so good. I highly recommend, for those who are still hesitant, stop and go for it. The staff very friendly and smiling.

22/06/2025: Over the years this pub has gone downhill. Slow service even though lots of staff wandering around. Last night they were serving pints in plastic glasses that you had to give a deposit on. Management change needed or it probably won't be here next year. Only had one beer and then went somewhere else. Too bad used to love this place

12/09/2024: A great place for lunch in an ideal location on the Promenade des Anglais with great views from the tables on the Negresco and Mediterranean Sea. The menu is varied with different options and the staff are friendly.

02/11/2024: Ensaladas encantadoras! La comida era genial y el servicio genial también. Personal amable y agradable El restaurante está en Promenade des Anglais, muy agradable y limpio y siempre lleno. Sirven una cesta de pan con las ensaladas, pan increíble.

04/09/2024: Unacceptable service. There were 5 of us and they didn't let us sit in a free space where we could all fit because they wanted us to accommodate a 3 person. Very bad manners and bad faces of the service.

31/07/2024: I went for lunch the other day with my work colleague. The place is nice and chill, typical pub vibe...till I ordered two pints of Guiness!! 9.50 euros per pint! It is by very far the most expensive pint I have ever had in my life! That's ridiculous not even in London or Paris you'd match those prices!

18/07/2024: Wir wollten während unseres Urlaubs mit ein paar Freunden Anfang Juli ein EM Spiel im Pub schauen und dabei ein paar Bier und Essen genießen. Morgens hatten wir uns erkundigt, ob das Spiel hier laufen würde. Abends als es dann los ging wurde jedoch nur an einem kleinen Screen und nicht wie morgens zugesagt am großen Screen, das Spiel gezeigt. Zudem hat sich, trotz Nachfrage, das Personal geweigert, den Ton des Fernsehers anzustellen! Mit dem Argument, dass sie nie Ton abspielen… Da macht das Spiel leider kein Spaß - wir sind kurzerhand in einen anderen Pub um die Ecke umgezogen. Sehr schade! So schnell werde ich hier nicht nochmal hingehen…

15/11/2024: VISITED IN AUGUST 2023. RUN AWAY! DANGEROUS ESTABLISHMENT! NO HYGIENE MEASURES RESPECTED! STAFF RACIST AND VIOLENT TOWARDS THEIR CUSTOMERS! WE WITNESSED A PHYSICAL ASSAULT BY ONE OF THE SERVERS TOWARDS A COUPLE OF CUSTOMERS WITH THEIR CHILDREN, WE STEP ON THEIR HEADS! BUT ALSO THIEVES, THEY ADDED US CONSUMPTIONS TO THE ADDITION. TO RUN AWAY AND SEAL QUICKLY!!

07/11/2024: We came for dinner last night. The setting is magnificent, nothing to complain about, and the food is excellent. Unfortunately, the positives end there. As for the service... If I could have given it a 0, I would have done so. We dealt with a server who totally lacked professionalism, or even respect. He was even vulgar sometimes. Above all, we had the impression of being “disturbing”. The waiter was shouting and speaking badly to us and the rest of the staff. Not at all the kind of experience we recommend, especially since the kids were extremely uncomfortable. This is clearly neither the appropriate language nor attitude for a restaurant. It's really a shame that management tolerates such behavior, because all the conditions are in place for this to be an excellent establishment. Unfortunately, the setting and the cuisine are not enough: the service plays a crucial role in the customer experience. In summary, it is unfortunate, and I absolutely do not recommend this place.

23/09/2024: Je tiens à préciser que cela fait 18 ans que je vais dans cet établissement. Mais là ce n'est plus possible. Nous étions tout un groupe pour leur faire découvrir une de nos adresses préférées, nous avions réservé, à notre arrivée tout s'est bien passé, le jeune serveur était agréable. Un de nos convives ne pouvait pas trop manger, il a donc pris une petite salade Coleslaw histoire de pouvoir nous accompagner tout de même. Nous avons été servi et à la moitié de notre repas toujours pas de salade en vue, nous avons donc gentiment "été voir" le serveur (sinon personne) qui indique que c'est bien commandé mais que le problème vient de la cuisine. Petite précision il est 21h, il n'y a quasiment personne Nous patientons, mais là nous avons déjà terminé notre plat, nous réitérons notre demande auprès du serveur en lui exprimant notre mécontentement et que ce n'est pas dirigé contre lui, au passage nous recommandons une pinte et bien celui-ci nous envoie carrément "caguer" et c'est bien le mot et qu'il n'y peut rien. Un manque de professionnalisme total. 5 minutes plus tard (45 minutes après avoir commandé...) il apporte le plat et là on rit jaune, une petite tasse avec une cuillère à soupe de coleslaw on en reste bouche bée, 50 minutes pour ca !! Toujours pas nos pintes, on en profite pour lui demander la carte des desserts. Au bout de 15 minutes, rien, pas de pintes, pas de carte des desserts nous avons donc décidé de partir, avons payé et été voir la responsable "de ce service" et vous savez quoi rien, "on est navré", aucun geste, aucune attention, un menfoutisme total. Je n'ai vraiment pas pour habitude de descendre un établissement aussi durement mais là on sent un laisser aller total. Plein de petites choses été à la baisse, nous n'en tenions pas rigueur mais là c'est le pompon. Alors vous savez quoi et bien dorénavant vous pouvez vous carrer vos pintes nous n'y reviendrons pas. A bon entendeur salut.

16/09/2024: Great for people watching. Food is a good price and service is quick. Cocktails are strong enough and pretty cheap compared to cone restaurants/bars. Nice friendly staff

10/08/2024: A wonderful moment at the top of the rooftop for an aperitif with the girls. The tapas and cocktails are very good, I recommend this place for a sunset evening.

10/08/2024: We had a wonderful stay at the Marriott AC Nice. The rooms are accommodating and a nice size. The best view and pool on the rooftop with amazing staff. Particularly Carla F who is super friendly and smiles for days, she absolutely made it our best hotel stay during a 2 week trip to several different places and hotels. Many thanks!!

10/12/2024: [the restaurant has been transferred to a new owner and has changed the name and the menu :( ] The best burgers in Antibes! Everything is plentiful and delicious. For beer lovers, there are always 3 artisanal styles offered at presion . We were very happy to be able to come back after confinement, it was our first outing :)

04/11/2024: Peut être que les burgers sont bien mais les autres plats sont plats justement ! Et chers ! La place (transformée, minérale et sans charme) n aide pas pour se sentir bien, le service est expédié et peu aimable, je déconseille cet endroit,.
