04/09/2024: I’m glad to visit this hidden gem on the outskirts of Monaco. Didn’t expect to receive a warm welcome by the owner himself(Pierre). There was a table of guest when we visited, everyone was enjoying the time and food there.
Yes as per other reviewer there isn’t any menu, and Pierre will offer you his best he has in his kitchen. We had fried cougette flowers, melon, figue & some cheeses (Chèvre).
He recommended a bottle of wine from Corsica (42 Eur). And he asked before presenting the bottle.
It’s really nice to have our meal here while chatting with him, super friendly. And not forgetting James his lovely dog.
I will definitely come here again when I visit Monaco. It’s a good find on Google map.
18/08/2024: This is a hidden Gem, with a wonderfully homely atmosphere that encourages customers to chat with other patrons. The dog James was definitely a highlight.
Although we enjoyed the food not having a menu was unexpected, and the overall price being €100 for 2 people was good value for money, I did have anxiety eating this this could cost anywhere form €100-€300.
Pierre was a great host and I would definitely return.

Le Rooftop Ac Hotel

10/08/2024: We had a wonderful stay at the Marriott AC Nice. The rooms are accommodating and a nice size. The best view and pool on the rooftop with amazing staff. Particularly Carla F who is super friendly and smiles for days, she absolutely made it our best hotel stay during a 2 week trip to several different places and hotels. Many thanks!!
10/08/2024: A wonderful moment at the top of the rooftop for an aperitif with the girls.
The tapas and cocktails are very good, I recommend this place for a sunset evening.

16/08/2024: Prezzi esorbitanti a partire da una semplice bibita. Personale poco empatico. Anche se non si era ancora finito la consumazione ad un certo punto è stato chiesto il pagamento anticipato...(Mancavano ancora 3 sorsi)...p.s. nel locale si era in 4 gatti. Hanno comunicato solo in francese, quindi non si sa se ci si può capire ulteriormente...di conseguenza ci si è limitati a prendere solo da bere. Si era i giro a Nizza per affari...si Noi...ma un consiglio, non si fanno così gli affari. In sintesi molti altri locali ci hanno accolto, ma con un sorriso ed una professionalità differente. 19/08/2024: In the shaded calm and away from the hustle and bustle and tourist noise of the seaside, and yet 5 minutes from the Prom, we are happy to have discovered the Insolent café: excellent cuisine, copious dishes, very good desserts, attentive service and very friendly welcome, one of the best value for money in the Carré d'Or.

31/07/2024: I went for lunch the other day with my work colleague. The place is nice and chill, typical pub vibe...till I ordered two pints of Guiness!!
9.50 euros per pint! It is by very far the most expensive pint I have ever had in my life! That's ridiculous not even in London or Paris you'd match those prices!
18/07/2024: Wir wollten während unseres Urlaubs mit ein paar Freunden Anfang Juli ein EM Spiel im Pub schauen und dabei ein paar Bier und Essen genießen. Morgens hatten wir uns erkundigt, ob das Spiel hier laufen würde. Abends als es dann los ging wurde jedoch nur an einem kleinen Screen und nicht wie morgens zugesagt am großen Screen, das Spiel gezeigt. Zudem hat sich, trotz Nachfrage, das Personal geweigert, den Ton des Fernsehers anzustellen! Mit dem Argument, dass sie nie Ton abspielen… Da macht das Spiel leider kein Spaß - wir sind kurzerhand in einen anderen Pub um die Ecke umgezogen. Sehr schade! So schnell werde ich hier nicht nochmal hingehen…
