24/10/2026: This is our sixth dinner at this restaurant, and each experience has been an explosion of flavors for our palates! The setting and atmosphere are pleasant, the service impeccable, the value exceptional... and above all, the daily specials are bursting with flavor and freshness, from appetizers to desserts. My wife is vegetarian and has always found one or more dishes to suit her taste, sometimes even benefiting from the chefs' special attention! It's the kind of place you want to keep secret!

We chose the three-course menu: the langoustines were swimming in a bizarre concoction, the pigeon barely floated, accompanied by a tortured beetroot that seemed to belong anywhere else. As for the weever with Colonata lard, it was conspicuous by its absence; it was weever in name only. Our hopes then rested on a fig dessert, which unfortunately failed to live up to expectations. In short, a moment to forget as quickly as possible. One star? Why?

04/08/2026: The best part of the whole trip was the restaurant; the best dinner of the entire vacation. The food was spectacular, the service perfect and incredibly attentive. The food is prepared with meticulous attention to detail. The lamb chops were amazing, and in general, everything is perfectly arranged to ensure you enjoy a truly spectacular evening. I highly recommend, as crazy as it may seem, stopping by and spending the night for the dinner and the experience in such a unique and wonderful place.

23/07/2026: The restaurant has fast service, perfect for lunch breaks. However, the burgers and fries aren't great. The burger bun is mediocre, and the filling is basic. The fries have very few potatoes, are very soggy, and covered in oil. They're brown. The dessert is okay. I'd like to try other dishes.

The portions were generous, the presentation was beautiful, and the künefe was especially good 😍 The staff were very kind and welcoming and the service was great. We came while visiting Nice and this was definitely one of our favorite meals here. Highly recommend if you’re looking for good Turkish food! 🇹🇷❤️

26/10/2026: A truly wonderful experience overlooking the waves. Classic French and Mediterranean cuisine, subtly modernized. The chef creates a menu by feel: a succession of dishes prepared according to his inspiration and the available ingredients, never straying from what makes a dish truly perfect! We appreciated his presence at our table and our good fortune to meet a Meilleur Ouvrier de France (MOF)! All this was complemented by expertly paired wines from head sommelier Benoit Sessegolo and attentive service! THANK YOU

18/10/2026: From the moment we arrived at the restaurant, to the time we left feeling slightly underwhelmed, the evening had the air of an out-of-breath runner struggling to reach the finish line. Nothing was particularly bad, yet almost everything felt slightly off. The six-course menu showed occasional flashes of creativity and good taste, with the egg and forest mushrooms being one truly exceptional dish, and thankfully served warm. The chef clearly has talent, and the staff made an effort, but there was a noticeable lack of energy and spirit throughout the evening. Service felt more like a routine being repeated than a genuine desire to create a memorable dining experience. Everything was technically there, yet somehow the whole experience lacked enthusiasm and dare I say, some finesse. At this price point, one expects more than a few interesting flavours and service that simply goes through the motions. Fine dining is as much about the overall experience as it is about the food, which most certainly should never be just "plopped" in front of the pateons, yet unfortunately, neither quite justified the bill. Not a bad evening by any means, but a surprisingly forgettable one for a restaurant with such ambitions.

The atmosphere is warm and authentic, perfectly in keeping with the rural setting. We had lunch in the garden, enjoying a remarkable view of Saint-Paul-de-Vence. This peaceful setting greatly contributed to the quality of the experience. The Danish-inspired cuisine was refined and delicious. The wood-fired trout was exceptional: perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful, it is clearly a highlight of the menu. The owner was particularly attentive. His welcome was very kind, enhanced by a subtle and pleasant sense of humor that made the experience even more convivial. He was also aware of the criticisms in some reviews and clearly stated his intention to make the necessary improvements, which demonstrates a true sense of professionalism and service. I highly recommend La Brouette for an experience combining a rural setting, quality cuisine and a warm welcome.
