Great selection of draft beers at very reasonable prices, especially during happy hour when beers are €4 to €6 from 5 pm to 7 pm!
What I love is that the beers change regularly, which lets you try new ones!!
Cozy atmosphere reminiscent of real pubs, and a very friendly welcome!
03/02/2026: Visited La Barbote several times over our stay in Montpellier, really good beers(5*), excellent friendly service and great busy vibe (happy hour great value between 5-7pm). We only ate once, very tasty smash burger and as proud Canadians had to try the poutine, fries good, cheese not traditional curds but did get gooey, and gravy was a little too sweet. All in all a great very popular microbrewery. Reservation recommended for anytime after 6:30pm (when the kitchen opens).

06/02/2026: We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel; the place is welcoming and the restaurant is excellent.
The owners are incredibly friendly. We visited in winter, but it should be lovely to enjoy the outdoors in warmer weather.
18/12/2025: This former spinning mill, on the banks of the Hérault River, is a truly beautiful place. You will receive a warm welcome and can enjoy comfortable rooms and excellent cuisine. We are looking forward to warmer weather so we can return and enjoy the grounds and terrace.

12/11/2025: I was very disappointed with this bar the last time I went there with my friends.
The people who run this bar have huge beer steins like the ones you see in German pubs, and they keep them in drawers in plain sight of their customers, but they refuse to serve us from them, claiming that these large steins are reserved for special customers.
I think that's unfair; any customer should be able to be served from these steins as long as they have enough money to pay for them.

We had bacalhau à bràs e prambas a la plancha: simply EXCELLENT 👍👍👍

01/03/2026: An absolutely fantastic place! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by smiling, warm, and truly attentive staff. You immediately feel at ease, and that makes all the difference. The atmosphere is incredible: the music is excellent, and the DJ brings such amazing energy that you want to stay all night.
I thoroughly enjoyed myself, both the atmosphere and the overall experience. The clientele is just as wonderful—respectful and fun-loving—which creates a friendly and pleasant atmosphere.
Honestly, a superb discovery that I highly recommend!
