18/05/2026: Hi, a place I didn't know about, just passing through. Pleasantly surprised, finally someone who knows how to serve a beer! The steak tartare was prepared so well, I honestly had trouble finishing it, it was very good. I just asked for more dressing for the salad, which was served immediately. I'll be back, thank you for this wonderful meal... I went again tonight. The beer is always well served, and the food... mmm.

16/05/2026: I'm only giving it 3 stars because, frankly, for the price, I find the food extremely poor. Aside from the fries, there wasn't much that was fresh. The chicken escalope with Maroilles cheese was barely cooked in the middle. I couldn't say if it was frozen or not, but in any case, we won't be going back. My dish was good, but that's all. For me, the ingredients are basic and the portions are small (and I'm not a big eater). The atmosphere, however, is very pleasant. The service is otherwise good.

05/05/2026: I discovered this restaurant several years ago, specializing in vegan and vegetarian dishes, but equally satisfying meat and fish lovers. The atmosphere was warm and calm, the cuisine very refined for everyone, and passing by daily, the enticing aroma wafting through the street was a delightful testament to the delicious food.

13/04/2026: Absolutely wonderful little brasserie/bistro just down the road from the Centre Place d’Armes in an old building tucked into a newer residential area. Tiny little space filled with antiques wooden tables & a daily chalkboard menu - food was true rustic country cooking - cassoulet, filet de porc with frites & salad - simple but very delicious. Good selection of beers to wash it all down with - Honestly the best meal we had the whole week we were in Valenciennes

We were seated in a quiet area so the dog had its own space and water bowl. We ate very well, enjoying typical and generous dishes. The service was excellent and the atmosphere very friendly.
