09/10/2025: Another way to eat fondue, other than Savoyard. The cheese is excellent, the fromage blanc and the homemade desserts are delicious. A nature-filled inn to recharge your batteries (and digest!). A country-style meal, a bit noisy, fitting the setting. Friendly staff and smiling waitresses. To be repeated!

10/09/2025: Great place. We had a wonderful time with the family. Thank you, thank you for your welcome, your kindness. The meal was exquisite, and your joie de vivre was a breath of fresh air. Happy retirement to you, you deserve it!
24/08/2025: We ate there three years ago when we returned from vacation, and this year we did the same... and it was just as excellent!
The frogs' stew with their gratin (simply excellent), the black cep mushrooms... in short, we had a great time, and so did our children!
We learned that they were retiring in a month (well-deserved!!), but that the next generation will be well taken care of... to be continued!
We wish you a wonderful retirement and thank you again for this wonderful place!

07/11/2025: Disappointment at Boudes la Vigne. I had booked a table for this evening at 7:30 pm, but the owner mistakenly booked me for lunch. He then called me in an unpleasant tone, wrongly accusing me (we work during the day all week, so I couldn't have booked a Friday lunchtime!) of not showing up and causing him to lose a table for two. He offered no acknowledgment of his mistake, let alone a solution.
It's a shame, as we've been coming to this establishment for years, but we won't be returning.
"An hour after this post, the owner left me a message saying he might have found a table for the end of the month (an admission of his mistake?). But unfortunately, given the tone used during the call, I won't be coming back."

15/02/2026: We had a wonderful time; we ordered the Saint-Nectaire fondue and a charcuterie platter, and the food was delicious. We'll definitely be back to try the raclette. The service was fantastic, just like being at home.
15/02/2026: For Valentine's Day, we were worried our evening would be noisy and crowded, but not at all! We had a wonderful evening. The food was excellent, and the waitresses were lovely. The children's menu for our 5-year-old daughter was very generous and delicious! Our fondues were incredible too! I highly recommend it! Thank you for this great discovery!

14/12/2025: While visiting the inn's website, I saw that the chef is looking for a successor, and I can confirm that it's time to pass the torch. Given that the menus seemed perfectly acceptable, we booked for seven people to celebrate a birthday.
Upon arrival, we were surprised to learn that the chef was absent, busy with a catering job for the CCAS (local social services center). Therefore, the advertised menus weren't available, and we were offered the CCAS menu for €40 per person. We were disappointed but accepted. We were finally served... nothing extraordinary, far from it. No one ordered cheese, but we paid for it anyway. Oh well, we should have ordered some ourselves. Here are the desserts... probably mass-produced? Two people were planning to order chocolate cake from Metro, but unfortunately there was only one left, so one person had nothing, no cheese or dessert, and it still cost 40 euros... I don't mind paying for quality service, but in this case, I really regret wasting my money. Enjoy it while you can... we won't be back... Lamentable... Have a good retirement, as soon as possible...

29/09/2024: Un cadeau offert par des amis ,pour un repas découverte ( Epicure) bon le repas à 90€ / prs , sans fromage sans le vin, sans l'eau , sans café.
Donc deux verres de vin et pichet d'eau facturé 4.50 et deux cafés a 5€ pièces , toujours du repas 42.50 légèrement excessif,surtout qu'un plat trop salé nous gâche la viande et un autre plat nous arrive tiède dommage pour une bonne viande en sauce .
autres bémol manque d'intimité entre les tables ,un petit paravent serait agréable pour une majorité de couple dans la salle .

The cellar is magnificent. We will come back there for an aperitif and go up to the top of the castle.

05/10/2024: What a wonderfull experience! We went there to try as a "recon team" for my english conversation club.
Superb welcoming, very friendly. I had, or course the thai cakes, "fish & chips" and brandy snap. We also tested the mixed grill and other "entrees" and deserts.
Whaaaou , from A o Z, it was an absolute thrill!
Tank you to the team of "les Roches". We will be back!
Expérience remarquable, je recommande ce restaurant dans reserve!

N’ayant pas eu le temps de regarder les avis avant d’y entrer, nous avons constaté par nous même l’hygiène déplorable (tant sur le sol, dans les wc) : l’horreur !
Concernant le repas : servi en 3’ top chrono après la commande. La truffade n’était que pommes de terre sèches tant elles ont été réchauffées, sans aucun gout de fromage et en quantité dérisoire. La charcuterie sortait tout droit d’un supermarché et pas des meilleurs ! Absolument rien de typique ni local à un prix déraisonnable.
