12/07/2026: After running into problems with our accommodation nearby, the luck of the irish was upon us to find such a warm welcome. The staff were all incredibly kind and friendly, particularly the owner Aidan. He even accommodated us by putting on the tennis for Wimbledon. We were thrilled we were able to relax, enjoy some drinks, and genuinely felt at home. Great atmosphere, excellent service, and exactly the kind of hospitality you hope to find in a authentically Irish pub. Highly recommend!

30/06/2026: The setting is really lovely, tastefully decorated. The waiter who served us was friendly and the meal was perfect, both the burgers and the fish and chips.

24/07/2026: A little gem in the heart of Old Lyon! Quality products, generous portions, and excellent value for money... A small menu for a truly delightful experience. Go for it without hesitation!

22/07/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A huge favorite! 🤩 I almost never leave reviews, but this time, I just had to share this experience. Monsieur Kim is a true gem! From the first bite, I knew I was in for a treat. The Korean fried chicken is simply INCREDIBLE: absolutely perfect crispiness, incredibly tender and juicy meat, and flavors to die for... I'm still dreaming about it! It's without a doubt the best fried chicken I've ever had. In addition to the exceptional quality of the food, the welcome is warm, the service is quick and attentive, and the atmosphere is friendly. You can feel the love for cooking and the desire to please the customers. One thing is for sure: I'll be back as often as possible, and I'll be recommending this place to all my friends and family. If you love Korean cuisine, or if you want to discover it, don't hesitate for a second: go straight to Monsieur Kim's, your taste buds will thank you!

06/07/2026: A very nice Irish pub, with typical Irish decor and a very friendly bartender. You can watch matches while enjoying a good cider or Guinness with a smile from the staff 😊. I didn't try the food, so I can't comment on that.

15/07/2026: We had a lovely lunch in a friendly atmosphere, as was our waitress. The meals are generous; you won't leave hungry. We were also impressed with the cocktails and mocktails. We'll definitely be back when we return to Lyon.

13/07/2026: I came to this bar to wait for a friend, and the welcome was rather cold. The waitress made it quite clear that I had to order something if I wanted to stay inside; otherwise, I could wait outside on the sidewalk. I understand that a place needs to manage its tables, but the way it was communicated to me was clearly unfriendly—not a smile, no explanation, just a curt instruction. I stayed so I wouldn't miss my friend, but the atmosphere was tense, and the unfriendly service spoiled the experience.

12/07/2026: We stopped off here to get out of the heat and what a gem! The staff were so friendly and so helpful as we are English speaking. We had the bagel burger with onion rings and it was delicious! The house rosé and white were wonderful as well as the Picon bierre. Do yourself a favour and pop in!
