24/09/2026: Annoyed is the best way to describe the staffs approach to service. Our simple questions were met with curt responses. There seemed to be a sense that they can’t wait for customers to leave so they can fleece the next table. Overpriced food that is mediocre, bland and sloppily prepared. Asked for tap water along with our champagne and were served and charged 6.50 for an already open bottle of Evian(was it tap?). 43.00 for a tiny beef filet and overcooked vegetables with cold wet fries. The galette was a sloppy mess. This place is a real disappointment. They have a captive audience from tourists and it shows in their service, pricing, and menu. We wanted to like it - it’s a great location - but we won’t be back and you should not go.

21/09/2026: Person who seated us wasn't particularly friendly; she just pointed to a table. The duck I had was OK, but my wife was unimpressed withe small serving of sea bass. Atmosphere seemed a little stuffy.

13/05/2026: We stayed here during a long cycling tour (UK-France-Germany-Switzerland). Friendly staff, very nice room, and good breakfast. We didn't have dinner here, so I can't comment on that. The bike garage is a bit small if there are many cyclists staying overnight. However, the bikes can certainly be stored outside. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the famous Bénouville bridge and less than 10 km from Ouistreham.

09/08/2026: A convenient local establishment open many days, much more than average, with extended hours. Bakeries available all summer long—how brave! Thank you... Very convenient delivery. A very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Quality sandwiches, bread, and pastries. I recommend this establishment located very close to the Bay of Salnelles, a magnificent spot. 🦮🐕‍🦺 Thank you so much, the lady with the golden retrievers!

23/09/2026: An absolutely wonderful experience! We loved this restaurant, both for the quality of the food and for the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Everything was truly delicious; each dish was a real treat! I also want to thank the entire team for their kindness, responsiveness, and professionalism. I had forgotten my glasses at the restaurant, and despite my imminent departure, the team did everything they could to quickly find a solution and ensure I could retrieve them in time. Exceptional service and attention to customers truly make all the difference! This is a place I wholeheartedly recommend, and I will gladly return on my next trip to the area. A huge thank you to the whole team for this delicious lunch and this wonderful experience! ❤

05/09/2026: The manager's behavior is borderline obscene; he's more prone to insults than to speaking proper French. The place is dirty and cluttered with packages, and the restaurant is nonexistent and should be avoided. In short, these people are incapable of properly managing this place, which deserves better.
