28/01/2026: It's impossible to eat in at 9:18 PM. Yet the restaurant doesn't close until 10 PM. It's a shame to have to eat in your car in the middle of winter, facing a still-open Subway...

29/11/2025: A lovely little stop: we had a classic hot chocolate, absolutely delicious, and a chocolate waffle. The waitress even brought a pitcher of chocolate to drizzle over the waffles – a very thoughtful touch! The welcome is warm and friendly, and the place is clean and pleasant. We highly recommend this café!

21/11/2025: I don't understand the last two negative reviews, as we've known this café for years, both before and after the change in management. The atmosphere and setting are very pleasant, and it's very conveniently located, just a 2-minute walk from the market. The service is quick. The coffee and loose-leaf tea are of excellent quality. The hot chocolate, in particular, is so decadent that my spoon doesn't leave my cup until the rim is licked clean. We've switched from small to medium or large chocolates. The best hot chocolate in Royan. Thank you to the team!

03/01/2026: Restaurant advertising pizzas, but no pizzas, just savory crepes... the mulled wine was really bad (with unpleasant residue in the mouth), the waitress repeatedly left voicemails even though there was no one to serve, I had to ask out loud for my daughter's dessert... We arrived before 7 pm to eat and left a little before 8 pm, the waitress practically threw us out, closing the shutters as soon as we left. The two stars are for the food; the crepes were okay. Apart from my daughter's very bland chocolate dessert, we won't be going back.

03/01/2026: The team gave us a very warm welcome, and the tartiflette and brandade de morue were excellent.

26/08/2025: I tend to agree with most of the reviews: the ice cream is good, even better than the competition. However, the customer experience is disappointing: the brand goes unnoticed, credit card payments are impossible, and the staff are quite cold. It's a shame because there's real potential!

01/10/2024: We only went to the restaurant. It's clearly a tourist trap. 20th the Burger, the fish without flavor, the children's formula, not great but we could have actually asked for more details, its fish fillet bathed in sauce (having tasted it, I didn't even want it). Unpleasant welcome. Go your way, walk a little more and you will find other restaurants that are friendlier and better located.
