28/05/2026: Overall, a rather disappointing experience. The salad wasn't particularly good, and given the prices, one would expect a minimum level of service, whereas you have to collect your own food and clear your own table. The place itself is nothing special, although the sea view is pleasant. It's a shame, because the setting could have offered a much better experience. I won't be returning.

30/05/2026: So disappointed once again. We're regulars at this restaurant; it's the closest to our home and work. The last three times we ordered, something was missing or it was completely cold… Last night we picked up our order since delivery arrives cold… once again, almost a €60 order, 2280 rösti but no rösti, one missing potato, and no sauce… Last time I called, but no compensation was offered for the inconvenience. €60 is a lot of money, after all… Very, very disappointed. We love McDonald's, but nothing ever goes right!

29/05/2026: McDonald's is quite nice overall, with a rather pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, the hygiene is really lacking; the tables are often dirty, which somewhat spoils the experience. The floor in the restaurant area is sticky, but the state of the restrooms is unacceptable. It's a McDonald's, so you shouldn't expect too much. But even so, I at least expected a clean table without any hairs and faster service than a 20-minute wait. It's regrettable that a global brand like McDonald's operates with such an unprofessional staff.

29/07/2026: First time in my life I've seen a €20 menu... everything is more expensive, we compared it to the prices at our local restaurant, even though we're from the Paris region... I don't know if these are the prices charged in July/August in a tourist area, but it's absurd. If we had known, we would have gone to a proper restaurant.

23/07/2026: The hamburger was extremely dry and inedible, as were the fries served. When you pay between €13 and €18 for a meal, you expect to be satisfied!

08/07/2026: Excellent experience at Burger Palace! The burgers were absolutely delicious and the ingredients were top-notch. The staff was very welcoming, friendly, and professional. The restaurant was clean, pleasant, and had a great atmosphere. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good burger. I'll definitely be back!

19/07/2026: My family and I came to eat with our three children. We were sitting at a table, having dinner, when a staff member came to tell us we had to finish our meal outside because it was 11 p.m. and the dining room was closing. In that case, why are you still taking orders at the table if you know you're going to close the dining room a few minutes later? My youngest son is very afraid of enclosed spaces. When the employee said she was going to close the dining room, he had a full-blown panic attack. He wouldn't stop crying, and we were forced to leave without being able to finish our meal in peace. Doesn't anyone monitor your establishment? Are your management or the owner aware of this kind of behavior? Weren't you ever taught respect for customers and professional ethics? It seems like your only goal is to make money and that you only see customers as a source of revenue. This will be my last visit to McDonald's Rochefort. I am deeply disappointed by the way my family was treated.

23/07/2026: An unfriendly waitress who "didn't see you" and was inefficient (constantly going back and forth) justified her absence by saying "it was very busy," but the terrace wasn't full at all. There was a long wait. Some customers waiting to be seated ended up leaving because they weren't being served. The coffee with cream... very little milk, very little water.

21/08/2025: Good evening, I'm not used to leaving a review that is positive or negative, but this is nonsense for the bar, a terrace there you wait for the server but no he doesn't come you have to guess that you have to go and get the drinks menu to place your order at the bar, a menu where there is a choice but when you order what you want you are told there are no more! so if there are no more on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday where it is the menu from last year or you have to cross off the drinks that are no longer served, finally I am not a bar manager but it seems to me that it would be better

23/07/2026: Thank you to the exceptional servers. Warm and friendly, a minor cooking issue was resolved immediately. They adapted to our needs, which makes us want to return.

15/07/2026: I went to lunch at this restaurant with my mother, and we were very disappointed by the service. From the moment we arrived, the manager who seated us was not at all friendly, which immediately created a bad atmosphere. Furthermore, seeing the owner sitting at a table near the entrance and then going to smoke a cigarette right outside the restaurant is neither professional nor pleasant for other customers. The most disturbing thing was that we had barely finished our dessert when the bill was brought to us without us even asking for it. We felt like they were trying to get us to leave quickly, which was very unpleasant. The food was decent, but unfortunately, that wasn't enough to compensate for the poor quality of the welcome and service. Fortunately, in other establishments of the same chain, like the one in Saintes, the experience is much more pleasant, and the staff is far more welcoming. It's a real shame because, beyond the food, the welcome and respect for customers are essential. For our part, this experience does not make us want to come back.

17/07/2026: Despite the pleasant atmosphere by the harbor, the service was unpleasant. We were overcharged by one euro for two grenadines (which can obviously happen, as it was a small mistake), but when I pointed it out to the waitress, she responded haughtily, handed us the receipt, and then left immediately (there was indeed one euro too much). This was unacceptable behavior towards customers. Furthermore, the grenadines barely had any syrup. I do not recommend it.

04/07/2026: The service was just awful. We walked in to find one employee slumped in a chair, a second with AirPods in her ears, and a third with absolutely no smile—none whatsoever on any of the three, in fact. The man served us without gloves and chatted and laughed loudly with his two colleagues throughout our order, but when they spoke to us, none of the three laughed or smiled, even though we did. I asked one of the women a question, and she replied, "Sorry, I couldn't hear you with the music in my AirPods." It felt like we were bothering them; the atmosphere was very awkward.

05/07/2026: Excellent service from Baptiste. There was a mistake with my order, and he went back to the kitchen to get the correct item I had ordered. He's a fantastic waiter.

04/07/2026: Very unpleasant staff. I asked for a bottle of water at the till, and this person told me they no longer carry bottled water and didn't have time to go to the dispenser! The restaurant was empty 🤷 At this point, I got angry and went back to my seat. The man came back with his supposed superior.
