14/09/2024: “U Paisanu, in the heart of Bastia, is a true immersion in Corsican authenticity. Located on the 1st floor of the grocery store, the restaurant offers a warm and typical room. We had the pleasure of tasting several Corsican specialties (the whole menu 😂) everything was so tempting 🤤.
The Bastiaise-style anchovies were excellent, and the ghjialadicciu was an incredible discovery. All served by a young man who was both friendly and very attentive. Before leaving, we exchanged a few anecdotes with Francis, the boss, a simple and authentic man who perfectly embodies the spirit of this place. A memorable and gourmet experience, which we recommend without hesitation!”

20/10/2024: Incredible, the service is very fast, the burgers are well stocked, I highly recommend the nuggets which are delicious, the fries are delicious, crispy and large. The desserts are good (I recommend the chocolate mousse😉). The mixed board (Corsican cheeses and charcuterie) is delicious. I recommend this restaurant.

17/08/2024: Très décevant ! L’assiette de melon jambon corse est en fait un quart de melon coupé en 3 ! Portion ridicule et très limite pour18€ quand même ! 2 nuggets pour le menu enfant… pareil pour les autres plats… bref on repart avec la faim ! Dommage car le cadre est sympa et personnel efficace.

On a très bien mangé malgres le monde et un petit peu d attente ce qu on peut tout à fait comprendre en pleine saison .
En revanche petit bémol quant au 2 serveurs qui certes sont dans le jus et encore une fois ça peut se comprendre mais svp n oubliez pas que nous aussi nous avons bcp travaillé pour se payer une semaine de vacances à Calvi ! Et nous essayons d être agréable en tant que clients et là de sentir qu on dérange c est peu plaisant .
Merci au barman pour sa bonne humeur et sa gentillesse .

01/08/2024: Very disappointed, the work is no longer of quality I asked to cover my balayage I'm not even finished the week the so-called gloss was already gone that's how to blow 60€ in the wind! And that’s not at all what I asked for!

09/10/2024: Very nice place with a beautiful view of the port. Pleasant welcome despite the early hour, but a very long, tasteless coffee. The 2 croissants became 4 mini pain au chocolat reheated or defrosted in the oven. For the price and the location it’s a shame. But I emphasize the kindness of the staff and the location under a magnificent Olivier tree. Impeccable sanitary facilities.
04/10/2024: The ice cream is super delicious! All the flavors we tried taste fantastic :) We got 1-2 scoops of ice cream in a cup to take away on different days. The ball costs 3 EUR, but is very big!

13/09/2024: We stopped here while waiting for our ship to Livorno, the service was good they welcomed us well with our dog we stayed inside the very very nice place the good beer is cold and the only flaw was the poorly seasoned sandwiches and they could have been better, they were still good. We advise them to improve in this small aspect as far as our experience is concerned.
