30/08/2024: We hadn't been here for a few years and we were very disappointed. We have visited the place many times, in small groups or for family reunions, and it has always been a taste pleasure. Forced to see that the quality is no longer there. We ordered two sirloin steaks which tasted nothing like a sirloin but rather a sinewy piece of grilling. Impossible to finish. We asked for a doggy bag, and they gave us the meat in a ball in cellophane. The wine list mainly contains wines that are very easily found in supermarkets. Really limited value for money. The origin of the meats is not indicated. I was a little doubtful when we had dinner (and not lunch) for barely more money the next day in Fontainebleau with a good portion of local products or products whose origin was at least indicated. While a cooking error was reported on the neighboring table and the service was clearly long for a lunch, a service person ended up responding very coldly to the customer who was just worried about the clock that was ticking for her. I also asked to change my wine glass which was chipped in two places. The feeling of annoying the waiter clearly. It's regrettable in a town like Malesherbes that "The" good address is evolving like this.

15/12/2024: Expérience mitigée malgré le personnel qui veut se donner à fond. En ce qui concerne les vins, il faut vraiment arrêter de montrer la carte papier qui n'est pas/plus à jour, la Côte Saint jacques, la présente sur tablette numérique, ce qui peut-être déroutant de prime abord, mais est tellement plus pratique pour l'établissement et les clients ! En, ce qui concerne les mets, les saveurs sont là, c'est indéniable, les cuissons sont parfaites ! En revanche on peut se poser la question des quantités avec un homard à 110€ ridiculement petit dans l'assiette ! De plus, le GROS bémols est la chaleur des plats qui est à revoir, nous avons mangé quasiment froid, c'est inadmissible pour un établissement avec 1 étoile (nous étions seulement une douzaine au total)... Entre le trop de chichi et le manque de savoir faire, il n'y a qu'un pas... je voulais faire la surprise à ma femme d'un bouquet de roses pour notre anniversaire de mariage qui aurait dû être sur la table à notre arrivée ! Je vous le donne en mille, celui-ci se trouvait sur une desserte à côté de notre table... une décoration de plus au yeux de ma femme... punaise !!! En résumé, un chef ne fait pas tout... c'est un ensemble, qui n'est toujours pas là !

15/12/2024: Un moment de ravissement, depuis l'entrée dans cette auberge jusqu'à la sortie. L'édifice est illuminé pour Noël et cela réhausse l'ambiance enchanteresse. L'accueil y est chaleureux et sympathique. Un vestiaire est à disposition, bien pratique pour les longs manteaux qui ainsi ne nous embêtent pas en salle. Une traversée du salon avec des chesterfield et une belle flambée. Nous marchons sur un sol moelleux à souhait. Cette atmosphère feutrée nous accompagne jusqu'à la salle de restaurant meublée de belles tables rondes nappées, espacées suffisamment pour garantir une intimité sans être isolé. Le personnel est avenant, juste comme il faut, présent, attentif et respectueux de laisser les convives dans leur intimité. Les plats sont alléchants et décrit avec délicatesse et passion par le maître d'hôtel dont les yeux brillent de plaisir. Présentation de l'établissement, du nouveau chef, que j'aurais aimé rencontrer en fin de soirée comme cela se fait souvent dans ce type d'établissement, et des plats "signature". Il sait nous emmener par son discours à imaginer de multiples saveurs et nous prépare pour un voyage inattendu. Les plats sélectionnés sont tous divins. Une mention spéciale pour le service n°1 du lièvre royal, qui sous sa purée veloutée cache un effiloché de lièvre avec des champignons et des noisettes, un regal pour les papilles. Mais ici tout est éclatant de saveurs, de raffinement et de simplicité. Les produits de base sont exceptionnels et travaillés avec amour pour sublimer ce qui déjà naturellement est parfait. Un mélange harmonieux qui éclate en bouche et nous amène à apprécier chaque bouchée. Les à côtés sont tout aussi raffinés. Le pain et le beurre maison sont exceptionnels. Les mignardises sont exquises tant en amuse bouche qu'en after. La carte des vins est tout aussi riche. Comment faites vous ce miracle ? C'était un moment parfait, hors du temps, à revisiter aux beaux jours pour découvrir la terrasse et le parc. Votre institution est vraiment exceptionnelle, gardez cet amour que vous nous partagez

15/12/2024: Excellent space, for a simple coffee or a light meal. Expanded and tasty offering of breads, sweets, sandwiches and salads. Very friendly staff.

13/12/2024: Very disappointed. This isn't the first time this has happened to me at this McDonald's. I ordered a CBO, in the end it was served to me at my table, barely cooked, the chicken was pink. So I decide to go and ask for another one, when I get to the checkout, the manager arrives, tells me that no, my chicken is cooked and that he can't do anything for me because I say "I know what a chicken is cooked”. Responsible in passing, very unpleasant, to be avoided!!!

09/12/2024: This concerns the drive. Very warm welcome at the order terminals. When paying, some are very friendly, others unpleasant. Sometimes there are mistakes in the sauces. Overall a very good drive, even during rush hour

04/08/2024: The employee was mopping the already clean floor of the terrace, while the floor was disgusting in the toilets. The tables and chairs weren't all clean either. That said, the products were good, and seem to be of good quality. smiling, available and pleasant service.

28/09/2024: We stopped for breakfast. Very good hot drinks, but we didn't like the desserts at all. The citron cake was very stringy. Note that they do not have toilets.

18/08/2024: 2 cinamon rolls (reheated in the microwave and certainly from the day before given the taste) and 2 cappuccinos correct but nothing more, charged 23rd; no toilets as a bonus. In short, casting error.

27/07/2024: We didn't even have lunch there as we felt like we were disturbing them, so I can't rate the cuisine of this place. We were refused the terrace to eat for no reason except perhaps that you have to walk there to serve us. No one greeted us at the entrance, a hello would not have been a luxury either. I do not recommend this place if you are looking for a friendly place.

03/09/2024: I've never been there, I go next door to the butcher's and the greengrocer where you can find cheap vegetables and fruits.

31/08/2024: Having just collected TWO surprise baskets via the too good to go application, I was unpleasantly surprised by the minimal quantity of baskets. (3 éclairs, 2 apple tarts and 2 sandwiches...)

26/08/2024: I went there with my husband and a friend, my friend paid TEN EUROS for an Irish Coffee, which is normally a good cup in quantity, here it was a mini glass of espresso. 10 euros. My husband also had a spritz for 10 euros, not too gross and not too expensive if you compare with a Parisian bar. But obviously we only paid 10 euros per person since after the first drink we were thrown out to make room for new customers who wanted to go to the terrace. I have never seen that, we throw away customers who have consumed and who could potentially have consumed more for new customers? Well no the new ones set up where there is space and if there is no space then as a trader we tell them sorry there is no space come back later, we don't throw away the customers already there and who paid more.
