01/08/2026: Simple yet sometimes original recipes (cold pollock fillet with aioli sauce, etc.). The staff managed the service perfectly. The dining rooms are spacious. It's a historic establishment in the center of Malesherbes.

04/09/2026: Delicious food. Very friendly and attentive service. Excellent coffee and delicious pastéis de nata.

22/07/2026: Stopped for lunch during a long trip. Very good food for a good price. Friendly and fast service.

01/08/2026: Passing through the region on vacation, we were very disappointed with our experience. We placed our order at 1:26 PM. After waiting for over 20 minutes, only half of our order was served, and the food was cold. We had to wait even longer for the rest. The most regrettable aspect was the manager's attitude, who didn't even bother to speak with us despite our dissatisfaction. A simple gesture of goodwill or a few words of explanation would have been appreciated. It was a very disappointing experience, especially when you're just passing through and expect a minimum level of customer service.

01/08/2026: Terribly dirty. Service is also slow (+15 min). Trash bags are next to the entrance. The toilet is a mess (no men's toilet either, only a very smelly and filthy disabled toilet).

23/08/2026: A completely digital fast food restaurant. Like Burger King, order on a screen. No interaction with staff. No service.

09/08/2026: A real find, a Sunday afternoon in August. We didn't think we'd get a decent meal... The pizzas are absolutely fantastic, highly recommended. A true gem. Special mention to Ismael, a Spaniard, who served us and gave us excellent recommendations. He was friendly and welcoming. If you have the chance, don't hesitate.

29/08/2026: It's a shame the hygiene is so appalling, especially in the children's area... Greasy tables and floor, a nauseating smell, overflowing bins—the list goes on... Luckily, the children don't notice... The vending machines are out of order, the wait is very long, and even then, the hamburgers and fries arrive cold. Not much to say...

01/08/2026: Received two Too Good To Go baskets today. What a disappointment! They contained seven packages (five milk chocolate and two white chocolate) with no information whatsoever (ingredients, best before date, no origin). They looked like mass-produced chocolates, probably from Christmas! A shame for this store, which is very popular with people from Orléans.

12/04/2026: McDo de Tavers très décevant !!! çà n'est pas une 1ère concernant ce McDo et toujours même problèmes : service bcp trop long et à chaque fois, il manque quelque chose ou erreur de commande complète ! L'erreur est humaine mais quand elle se répète systématiquement çà n'est plus une erreur mais de l'incompétence. On a le droit à un "désolé" et on vous remet ds le sac le sandwich sans compensation (manquement, attente +++ ...). Bref, c'est très moyen !!! Dernière expérience début avril 2026 : encore 1 oubli de sandwich. On me dit que "non" tout figure dans le sac. Je finis par tout enlever devant tout le monde et on finit par me dire "ah, oui, effectivement, il manque un sandwich". (rires ds l'équipe McDo qui s'en amuse) J'ai l'impression vraiment de déranger et on me parle avec dédain. Extremely unpleasant, and not the first time this has happened at this McDonald's. I get home and my daughter finds a cheeseburger WITHOUT CHEESE!!! Same for my husband's! As for me, I ordered a cheeseburger without ketchup => result: with ketchup! This is REALLY unacceptable, and it's been going on for far too long! The responses given to customers regarding reviews are always the same (bordering on sarcastic and barely acknowledging responsibility. A blatant display of bad faith that promises change but never comes!). Disrespectful to customers in several respects (food, service, cleanliness...). What a SHAME! Thankfully, BURGER KING is opening very soon in Baule, so goodbye to McDonald's Tavers (unprofessional!!!! Probably the worst McDonald's in France) and hello to the new location that will actually prepare and serve the sandwiches we ordered :) Goodbye McDonald's Tavers Hello BK :)

01/07/2026: The current state of the hotel was not at all up to the standard of a 5-star hotel or a Relais & Châteaux, for that matter. The restaurant was not up to the standard of a 1 Michelin star, either. When we arrived at the hotel on a Wednesday afternoon, only one person was working, and she was the receptionist. She somehow found someone to help us with our luggage, and she helped us to get the manoir suite #118 in shape for us. No one had read my email requests for the room; it took a long time to get the room the way we wanted it. We arrived during a canicule. The suite had only one air conditioner, and it was in the bedroom, at the far end of the suite. It could not cool the salon, the entry, the closet or the bathroom at the other end of the suite. Housekeeping staff arrived and with their help, the bed was remade the way we like it. In the bathroom, there were only huge bath towels. We were told that there were no hand towels at this hotel. There was no dish for the soap and nowhere to hang the towels conveniently near the sink. There were no hooks near the shower either. The suite had been renovated but not with the comfort of the guest in mind. When we asked the woman at reception if they had forgotten our fruit plate; one was brought. We asked where the bottles of water were, and we were brought some. We were charged 14€ for what is usually a welcome gift of fruit and 20€ for two bottles of water. In our experience at a 5-star hotel, water and fruit are included in the price of a suite. After we unpacked we took a shower. The floor of the shower was really slippery and dangerous. We are glad that we survived in one piece. We had a disappointing meal at the restaurant. We sat looking at the lovely grounds and that was nice; it was actually the only good thing about our meal. The service was not good—it was very, very slow. The music was not appropriate to the bucolic setting and the food was just okay. The amuse bouche arrived and it was a tomato soup and a savory feuillette. The bread did not have a crunchy crust so Dimitri did not like it. We ordered the fois gras cooked in a bain marie which we usually like. This was not tasty enough. The ceviche entrée was also tasteless. For our main, we ordered the pork. It was so dry, it was like paper. The sauce had no character and there was not enough to moisten the pork. Dimitri liked the white asparagus; Audre thought that they were overcooked. The soufflé was good. Our meal cost 77€. Breakfast on the terrace was adequate but not at a 5-star level.

09/05/2026: May2026 (new) The lunch menu seems to have changed. Although the prices are a bit lower, the quality and portion sizes are different from last year, especially the coffee at the end. Overall, last year's experience made me want to return, but this year's was a bit disappointing. We would like to return if the food could be improved. June2025 Great restaurant and service! Every dish is amazing! The fish is also very delicious, and the surprise is in the details!
