21/09/2026: I can tell the manager/owner really makes a difference when he comes in. He is working hard, food comes out hot and well prepared. It makes such a big difference. I understand that it's McDonald's and the workers may not always be very motivated, however when the boss is in. Everything is excellent!!

24/10/2026: I've been coming to this little restaurant regularly for several years. The kebabs and pizzas are very good. I've always been greeted with a smile. I recommend it.

27/09/2026: Hello, Almost exactly a year ago, I left a negative review. They made fun of me for ordering hot food, and I came back tonight, but this time I won't be. I feel sorry for the staff who have to deal with a toxic manager who speaks rudely to them, especially in front of customers. I can only imagine what it must be like without them. We all understand your ordering problem. Learn some management skills!! Looking forward to never coming back.

01/10/2026: Placed an order via Uber. Inedible, 3 items added and 3 missing. It's clearly reheated! First and last time for me!!

28/09/2026: It's lost its appeal. My daughter asked for cheese sauce, and they gave her pepper sauce. Now I go near the swing bridge; there's a waiter and a cook, and the service is much better. It's cheaper. Pacha is finished. You have to wonder where the meat is. They don't wash their hands. The food is disgusting (Taste the Best). I recommend going to the place mentioned above, Quai Alexandre III. If my daughter gets sick, I'll send him the bill. The worst part is that they insisted I ask for pepper sauce, even though we don't eat spicy food at home for health reasons.

19/07/2026: Avoid this place at all costs, the welcome and service were terrible, we left without eating after waiting 1 hour and 10 minutes even though our order had been taken, they literally treated us like idiots.

29/05/2026: Was hoping to go there for dinner but the man turned us down because we didn’t have a reservation all for other people to come in as they please and not to mention all the seating inside was free too. We believe that it may be because we were tourists as we can’t think of any other explanation. Very disappointing experience and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone hoping for a meal.

08/09/2026: Unpleasant staff and service that needs improvement; at 10:35 PM they no longer serve a simple Happy Meal even though they're supposed to close to the public at 11 PM! I think the manager must be okay with losing revenue and customers!

06/09/2026: Getting worse and worse, always cold, always having to ask for hot hamburgers again, something's always missing, ground beef with holes in it, burgers slapped together, and very expensive.

09/09/2026: I had a set lunch there. The food was simple but very good, the service was quite fast despite the crowds, and the atmosphere was welcoming. I used to have a beer on the terrace there from time to time, but I'll definitely be back for a proper meal.

27/08/2026: Brilliant choice and value for money. Slightly noisy atmosphere but most enjoyable.

06/09/2026: One-third of the mussels marinière were unopened. I pointed this out to the waitress, who replied that she wasn't the one cooking. My response: "You're the one serving, and you can pass the complaint along." I was very disappointed. I was celebrating my birthday with two friends. We quickly went home to Poilley for coffee. I do not recommend this establishment; the background music is too loud and they don't take feedback into account. Avoid the Clapton in Ducey.

04/10/2026: On October 4th, I picked up my McDonald's order for click and collect after a 45-minute wait. When I got home, I was shocked to find that two packets of fries were missing, that we had three fries barely hanging on in their box with a tiny bit of cheddar cheese, and that our €6 sundae/McFlurry was actually just a soggy mess from the bottom of the machine… For an order over €100, I find this almost unacceptable. I understand that McDonald's is a fast-food restaurant, but they should take better care of the orders they send out!

04/10/2026: I just happened to be in the area and decided to stop for some lunch, staff was very friendly and professional, I don't speak French and felt bad as I couldn't understand the young lady that service my table, am sorry!! Overall the facility was clean and organized, way better in comparison to the one close by my lodging, much appreciated to all of you!

30/09/2026: I went to McDonald's to charge my electric car. The charging station is great: I plug it in, choose my food, pay, and my car charges quietly. During that half hour, I thought, "Hey, I'll take advantage of this to grab a bite to eat." And then, disaster struck. I found myself in front of an electronic machine with tons of pictures, buttons, menus, submenus… I looked at the screen. The screen looked back at me. After five minutes, I realized something crucial: my car knew how to charge itself, but I, clearly, wasn't capable of feeding myself. So I left without a hamburger, but with 80% battery. In the end, I don't know if I managed to charge my car… or if McDonald's won. 😂

29/09/2026: We've gotten into the habit over the years of checking the bag to make sure nothing's missing... Now we have to check if the quantities are correct? At almost €5 a popsicle, is that normal? It's not the first time... At the drive-thru, we're not going to make an extra trip back and forth when we find at home that two-thirds of the ice cream is missing. I worked there when I was a student; I know it's simply a lack of effort and professionalism... it's appalling...

16/09/2026: It's geared towards tourists. The food and coffee were good. Friendly staff.

10/08/2026: What a disappointment. The sandwiches are tiny; on the plus side, the bread is good. There's practically nothing to eat in the Caesar salad. 25 euros for two set menus and we were left wanting more. The service was very good.

06/09/2026: Blonde beer is 5 quid which is good value for round here I’d say. Wouldn’t bother with the Guinness. Very helpful staff who were willing to try and get Katie Taylor fight on the TV despite the difficulty. Very generous to try and accommodate. Good TVs. Darts as well. You can try play the bar man for money and he’s no great shake. Nothing else to be doing in Cherbourg anyway.

10/06/2026: May have been an Irish bar in the past, alas nothing Irish about the place now. Guinness does not an Irish bar make...!!!
