28/02/2024: I judge from experience with a family meal for 26 people: waitresses attentive and friendly, however the owner seemed to have gotten up on her left foot that day. Expired ketchup and not very fresh chocolate squares. A few false notes which leave us quite critical of the cuisine which I would describe as roadside, below the bistro, it was not worth 40€/person. Judge for yourself on a Saturday lunchtime in small groups before you start organizing a family meal and choose your menu carefully.

15/02/2024: Magnificent location, high ceilings, superb fireplace, perfect service. But the tea could be of better quality (palace of teas, meh; before, it was a brothers' marriage) and the biscuits offered with the tea (délichocs...) are clearly not at the level of a 5 star. I am willing to pay the price for the place, and the quality of the service, but the rest must go with it (quality of the menu).

02/05/2024: Once is not customary, I would like to post a review. My experience at Antidote is more than positive! This establishment offers refined, diverse and original dishes... The service is very pleasant and does its best to respond to our requests. I'm thinking of entrusting my birthday meal (60 people) to the restaurant's catering team, which has proven itself many times.

29/04/2024: A good atmosphere, top service but the dishes need to be reviewed due to lack of service and taste. In addition, the boss at the cash register stole €10 of our holiday voucher. We didn't realize it at the time and we checked later because the notebook was new. Especially since I paid €173 for 5 people which seems much too expensive given the quality of the product which doesn't even make homemade fries and is very stingy with the sauce. I don't recommend the restaurant and I would recommend "Le Melting-Pot" which is next door and which is 100x better.

31/03/2024: Great team, the atmosphere is great, the servers are very pleasant, fast service, as far as the food is concerned, it is of very good quality with fresh products, and the quantities are there (the fries sweet potatoes are extra). I am never disappointed by this establishment.

04/04/2024: If you are looking for a nice restaurant with a wide variety of dishes, a warm welcome and home-cooked food, then I highly recommend the Atelier restaurant. This place is really great in the heart of a charming little village Villedieu-Les-Poêles, with craft shops, and which can easily be visited on foot. What makes this restaurant truly special is the quality of their home-cooked food. Each dish is prepared with care and this is felt in every bite and the portions are quite generous. The ingredients are chosen carefully, with local producers as explained on their menus, where all the producers are listed. The service is also excellent. The servers are attentive and friendly, always ready to advise you if you have questions about the menu, or to adapt the dishes according to our intolerances. They make sure you have a great time from the start of your meal to the end, and it's really nice. The prices are quite reasonable; my companion and I chose the main course + dessert formula, with aperitifs, a tapas board and coffee, for around €70 for two. As a starter we shared a tapas board, the “Between land and sea” board with fried fritters, shrimp and 2 sauces of your choice: spicy tomato sauce and a gribiche sauce. A great board that can be enjoyed both in winter and in summer on the terrace with a small cocktail. Unfortunately we were unable to enjoy the terrace because it was raining, but I think that as soon as there is a ray of sunshine people should quickly settle down there, because it is spacious and well laid out. For the main course I opted for the cod fillet accompanied by mushrooms and cabbage, their Crécy sauce is a real delight! I recommend it to you. And my companion chose the Camembert burger (typical of the region) and he loved it. And for dessert, being a big fan of chocolate that I am, I obviously chose the delight with three chocolate flavors, and I really wasn't disappointed! An explosion of flavors, next time I will have this same dessert again without hesitation. The restaurant is divided into several parts with spaced tables, where we can have our privacy even if the restaurant is full. At the entrance there is a "lounge" area with comfortable armchairs to sit down for an aperitif. Because when it's good it must also be emphasized, we had a delicious lunch, and will be delighted to stop there again during our next stay in the direction of Brittany. Little more : - the restaurant offers the majority of its menu for takeaway, a real plus for locals: https://mylightspeed.app/KNRTNHWA/C-ordering/menu - the large car park located just in front, this avoids having to worry about finding a place. - the fact that the restaurant is located only a few minutes from a highway exit, no need to eat a sandwich in a highway rest area.

03/04/2024: Very good restaurant. We had a quiet lunch there one weekday. The service is friendly, the Camembert burger is excellent. Parking and town center nearby. 1 inexpensive for a lunch €88 1 starter 3 courses 3 drinks 2 coffees
